Got to see my son in his first improv routine, and had a blast. Nice little theater and they good classes there. Go see a show - only $10 - and they offer drinks and snacks for sale. Lots of fun!!

I went to and performed at the Backline for around 6 years. Quality of service and shows is always great. In response to a recent review complaining about short set times at the open mic, I’d say that it’s super busy and names are drawn out of a hat. There’s nothing cliquish happening. There are several open mics that you can sign up for in advance around town with longer sets. They’re all types of performances. Keep doing what you’re doing Backline. 👍

Our first time there tonight, it was a blast!! The beer-tender was so friendly and welcoming. We grabbed front row seats for Brooke Barsell's comedic lineup and her hilarious segways were perfect and their line up was great! A perfect date night, for sure! So many laughs and relatable moments, we will definitely be back!

Fun time by yourself or with a friend or partner. The comedians really are funny. It's a small place but clean and comfortable, might I add affordable.

I've followed The Backline on social media for quite some time now, and a few weeks ago I finally got brave enough to check the place out. I have no friends, so I went with my daughter, and we watched Comedy Wars. We walked in and were immediately greeted by someone who helped us out with tickets and drinks. We found ourselves some seats and waited for the show to begin. It was an amazing time. We laughed for an hour straight. Ross is absolute comedic genius and needs to be protected at all costs. But all of the comedians were hilarious! We cannot wait to come back! Looking forward to checking out an improv show! If you're on the fence about visiting, give them a chance. You won't regret it!

This is the BEST! If your looking for a fun up close night with some of the up coming comedians you will find it here. Its a super show put on by a super lady Rachel Ware. You will laugh out loud.... Take a break from the world and treat your heath to an outstanding show.....

It was awesome! We were there for the improv set and it was great. Intimate atmosphere and the view is great everywhere. Super small production that had three different shoes that night. We will be back!

This place is awesome. They have incredible shows almost every night of the week featuring both Improv and Stand Up comedy. The Backline is a place for all comedy and is a real haven for people that want to sit back, enjoy, and support local comedy.

They only give you 4 minutes for an open mic. Getting into the setlist seems very cliquey. Most other comedy clubs will allow you up to 25 minutes if requested weeks in advance.

Wonderful little comedy club where you can see local, regional and nationally known comedians. They also teach a variety of classes and workshops to hone your comedy chops or just have learning something new and meeting some new folks. A real gem in the city.

This place is such a great addition to Omaha! It elevates our comedy and improv scene, and it gives people new to the stage chances to learn and grow. Love to see it! Excellent variety of shows, great refreshments, and friendly people.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing space in Omaha!! Hilarious shows! Amazing opportunities for new comics from workshops and open mics to improv shows and features. Omaha has such a vibrant and funny scene. Don't sleep on this one!! The backline is always a great time.
