I want to share my Customer Service experience with you on a particular Employee named Rachel who was very extremely helpful and friendly when I arrived for a business visit to Omaha. When I arrived she greeted me warmly which was a breath of fresh air. I didn’t get the same vibe from a few of the other daytime employees who seemed to be very blasé. Rachel gave me the impression she cared about the work she did and that she cared about her craft and her customers. I will definitely be networking this property to my other clients and customers when doing business in Omaha thanks to Rachel.

Nice, new contemporary hotel with a well stocked bar. Located by good restaurants near Village Pointe.

I typically stay 3-5 nights each month in a hotel. I do like the Marriott hotels and have always had great experiences. The room at this hotel is pretty basic. The fridge is super small, looks like a wine/beverage fridge. Nothing is included- breakfast and coffee in the morning is an extra charge. The bar area was great, and lots of seating area in the lobby making me think it could be fun for a big group. The hotel advertised a pool and hot tub, but there was not a hot tub and pool was more of a wading pond (I think they called it a splash) about hip deep, and it was warm but not hot. Kind of like it was their version of a hot tub combined with a pool? Beware of extra charges! The hotel took a deposit (like most do). I had an extra charge to my card a day after I checked out, in addition to the charge for the room. Hotel states that it's for taxes, even though my receipt shows that the taxes were paid with the original room charge? So they charged me double for taxes 😔 They refused to refund it so I am having to dispute the charge through my credit card. With all of my stays this is the first time this has happened to me.

My family was impressed! We needed extra towels and the GM - I believe her name was Sophia - personally brought them within 15 minutes. Thank you Sophia for being so conscientious and caring. My wife really appreciated your quick response to our needs. Very clean rooms & hotel.

Great location in West O. This property is very clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. The front desk staff was amazing! From the check in process to chatting with me while I waited for my Uber, etc. Love having the mobile key option. The proximity to the concert venue was super convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

I had a bad check-in experience here. The guy at the front desk said that I didn't pay tax when booked through Priceline and that's a common problem they have with third party bookings. I've never had that issue before and my Priceline booking showed taxes were paid. They held an additional fifty dollars at the front desk to cover tax and incidentals. When I asked for a receipt, they said one can't be printed because the charges are still pending. I called Priceline and they contacted the hotel but the hotel refused to work with them because a manager wasn't on duty (at 3pm on a Friday). It's just a frustrating waste of time to try and sort everything out during a trip. The front desk staff don't seem to be empowered to resolve issues and management isn't present during normal business hours. I haven't had this happen at all with any other hotels in the past. The next day, the manager still wouldn't print a receipt and assured me she was on the phone with Priceline to sort it out and that I wouldn't be charged. After a month of the charge being in a pending state, it posted to my account and I disputed it and successfully had it removed by my credit card company. It's just really shady how everything was handled. I even offered the manager my phone number and email address in case there were issues but she assured me I wouldn't be charged.

Aloft seems to be the airbnb for Marriott. Don't expect your room to be cleaned daily, no complimentary breakfast, heavily stained rugs in common area, drywall damaged along the hallways, elevator floor sticky (and extremely slow)...etc. Front desk check in was rude. The room didn't have a iron or ironing board and when I called the desk to ask if there was one, I was asked, "didn't you see the steamer." I tried the steamer tucked away beside the door, but would have preferred an iron. The bar area is very small and uninviting. The entire facility looks incomplete, but i was told it has been operational for several years. There are better options nearby with walkable restaurants. I was left disappointed that this is a Marriott brand.

Room was very nice but needs a little privacy for shower area. Rooms back up to street where we heard traffic noise late into the night.

Nice room. No breakfast. Our room was right by the elevator so heard the elevators opening and mouth people yaking all the time.

Not clean enough or friendly enough staff even for their low price. Dogs are allowed which is great but with a hefty fee. Your dog is not allowed to bark otherwise you will be told to leave but still charged for the room. Will never go back.

We spent a week at this hotel when we were in town visiting family. Room The room was clean and updated but nothing special. It was a good home base to sleep and keep our stuff but not a place we’d spend much of our time. The loft layout made it difficult to have any privacy since the shower is completely open to the bedroom and the water closet only had a pocket door. Amenities The gym was a standard hotel fitness center: clean, but not spacious. The pool was a small, shallow, single lane. We didn’t go to the bar, but it seemed like an inviting area for a group to hang out. There wasn’t any continental breakfast so we can’t speak to the food. We did have several issues with our room key and mobile key continually being deactivated. Staff Our first interaction with the staff left a lot to be desired. It was difficult to flag someone down to help us with a malfunctioning key, and we felt like an imposition by even asking. Every other interaction was pleasant but forced, making us think that the staff is spread too thin to be effective. There were several times there wasn’t even anyone at the front desk. Location Convenient location across from Village Pointe (outdoor mall with shops, restaurants, a cinema, and more). It’s also right off Dodge Street, which makes navigation easy, but wasn’t as noisy as you might expect being off a main highway.

Uncomfortable bed, half empty juice bottle from previous guest left in the fridge, toilet paper rack busted off the wall and left sitting on top of the toilet [2 of my colleagues said the same in their room]. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Shower doesn’t drain, no housekeeping, hallway unvacuumed, no coffee in room, was turned away trying to check in at 6:10pm and told to come back bc my room wasn’t ready. Incredibly poorly managed property. I’m a Titanium Elite level Bonvoy member. Worst Marriott experience in a long time.

In town for a baseball ⚾ tournament. Location close to the 80 is great. Front checking staff were really friendly and accommodating. We had e bikes and were allowed to store them in an unused conference room until we could check in. The room is really set up quite nicely wi th a nice separation between the sleeping and hygiene areas. Has the feel of an apartment loft. User friendly large screen TV.

Rooms were cute, bed was comfortable. No washcloths in the room, and no toilet paper in the bathroom when I got in. My other travelers said the same about the toilet paper. Bar area for food and drinks is over priced and over hyped. No live music. $15/17 per drink. And food is wings and tacos. Munchies. But I went down to order food one night and they said they didn't have any. This was at around 6pm. Had to go out to get food. Overall just ok.

The TV and phone did not work. The heater was not functioning properly and very noisy. It wants to be a nice hotel - but its not.

The cleanliness of the first room was concerning. There was throw up in the cracks of almost everywhere. Hair everywhere. I had been driving for 14 hours and up 24. I was exhausted and shocked. When I told front desk Informed they were having trouble with that housekeepers floors. Front desk was kind and moved us to a different floor. The bar tender was amazing. Those things made the stay better. The second room was night and day from the last. No hair no throw up. The morning front desk seemed tired and bothered when we asked questions. Think it was the assistant manager. The Gm was more friendly but seemed defeated due to franchise just taking over within the 90 days. I hope to see this hotel turn over and do better. Maybe I’ll visit again. First time in the state and I adored.

Amazing service 10/10! Jen the bartender was nothing but kind, helpful and attentive the entire time of my fiancé and my stay! She was above and beyond since we walked in. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy a great serviced hotel bartender and cook like this one :)

Newly opened hotel, very clean hotel and rooms, top tier amenities, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, Tosha our housekeeper was very attentive and helpful, such a hardworker and always had a smile on her. The area the hotel is at is a safe area perfect for families to stay at and conveniently close to stores and restaurants. Heated pool was perfect for me and my 1 year old to splash on at any time of day and top of the line gym was very enjoyable for my husband. We loved our stay at Aloft Omaha West and would definitely go back.

I live in Omaha and was meeting a guest at the hotel bar. We only planned on staying for a drink but enjoyed the bartender, Jen, so much that we stayed for several hours! The drinks were delicious and priced reasonably, and the lobby was beautiful. I highly recommend the hotel and bar. In fact, may go back with my husband for a drink because Jen was that awesome!

The check in was fast. When we got to our room there was a maintenance issue, but the front desk gentleman (Aiden) quickly got us a new room and personally assisted us in moving our belongings. He was very professional. The hotel is clean. My kids loved the “vibe” and the location is perfect. 4 stars instead of 5 because the breakfast isn’t included, but they do offer breakfast foods for purchase.

Solid hotel on Omaha's west side, located by some good restaurants. You have to be accustomed to the Aloft setup to appreciate it, but it's a good, trendy place and good to do work from as well. Cups were available in one room, not the second time, and radio was oddly placed the second stay, but overall I would recommend. It's clean, it's mostly quiet and its location is excellent.

After reading the reviews I feel like some customers are missing the point of the name "aloft" they are loft rooms. Simple easy and well a loft. The rooms are very updated and trendy. Maybe not great for long term stays or families with littles but for a quick 1-3 day stay in omaha. this place is perfect for a date night stay!! Breakfast isn't included but have you seen the cost of the room? Way more affordable, holiday inn express is now a thing of our past. Lobby has great aesthetics welcoming and fun ! Pool tables are great ! Great location ,village point is across the street. Uber rides to entertainment are cheap and fast since it's located in a great part of omaha.
