It's a very nice little park for the young kids and babies. They have 4 baby swings great for toddlers.

I like the playground at Metcalfe Park. More importantly my 3 year old likes it too. There are some trees that provide some shade in the warmer months. The rest of the park is basically just trees and a walking path. There are some picnic tables but no shelter if that's important to you. All in all, I do like the park.

I love bringing my son here. I feel it's safe, friendly. Feels like a reunion at times since we see alot of the same guest. Highly recommend. Plus my brother has a business near there so it's a highlight. Once, twice a day. Thankyou to the family who dedicated this place to our neighborhood.

Great playground and fields. Amazing swings for big and little kids alike, a springy seesaw, "Comet" spinning equipment, etc. Awesome, diverse crowd of kids! My only issue is that almost none of it is accessible. Could possibly put someone who uses a chair on big kid circle swings and push gently, but that's about it.

Lots of space to run for kids and dogs! Many seating areas. Playground equipment. Various types of swings and slides. Climbing areas, zipline, monkey bars, merry go round, teeter tottering, various heights of slides, a wooden bridge, etc. Well kept yard and sand areas too! Picnic tables and trash receptacles available.

Great location, great play equipment. Everything tidy and in good repair. Free little library and bike repair station are great added features. I also loved that most of the families at the park walked or ride bikes to get there. My one complaint is that the shade trees don't cover the toddler play equipment, which, during the warm months, gets too hot to use by about 11:00.

Super nice. Has a bike pump and tools to repair your bike if needed! Thought that was pretty awesome! For a Saturday there wasn't anyone there and this park is usually packed!! The teeter totter was a little wonky but the kids loved it. TONS of shade, and they added more benches so I thought that was great!

Nice park for dog walking or just walk. Kid friendly. They also have a bike station where you can fix small things on bike and all the tools are there along with an air pump. It is also a Pokemon stop.

A nicely maintained park. Lots of mature tree's. Children will certainly enjoy the playground. Dog owner friendly- just be sure to keep them leashed and always pick up your pets poop.

Although they don't have individual swings (just the baby ones), they have the really cool large disks for multiple kids to swing on at once. It's a great place for smaller children.

Nice small park. It would be much nicer if some of the unused area on the west side of the park (opposite the peanut roundabout) was made into a fenced-in dog park. Lots of shade. Pretty quiet. Sidewalk around perimeter.

I grew up going to this park 30+ years ago, and boy has it came a long way. My 8 yr old son and I love it! The equipment is new and up to date. There's saucer swings for kids of all ages and plenty of trees to make for a great leaf pile in the fall. There are always lots of kiddos playing and plenty of benches and picnic tables for the adults! It's always fairly clean with minimal trash/liter throughout, which is a plus!
