This
is
a
great
place
to
bring
the
family,
to
hang
with
friends,
or
just
spend
some
time
alone.
There
is
lots
of
grass
for
running
around
with
the
children
or
dogs,
throwing
a
ball,
or
flying
a
Frisbee.
There
are
plenty
of
paths
for
jogging,
walking
and
chatting
with
friends,
pushing
strollers,
riding
a
bike,
or
exercising
your
dog.
One
path
circles
the
pretty
pond
where
you
can
cross
a
wooden
bridge
from
which
it’s
fun
to
check
out
the
frogs,
turtles,
and
fish.
A
small
dock
for
fishing
or
just
sitting
and
looking
around
is
on
the
opposite
side
of
the
pond.
You'll
find
tons
of
trees
for
shade
whether
you
are
sitting
in
the
grass,
on
a
bench,
or
using
a
picnic
table.
You
can
use
the
pavilion
for
even
more
shade
and
a
bigger
picnic
bench.
There's
plenty
of
wildlife
to
see
including
an
assortment
of
song
birds,
circling
hawks,
and
sometimes
an
eagle
or
two.
You
might
even
see
wild
turkeys
wandering
around.
Ducks
and
geese
come
and
go--sometimes
for
spectacular
splash
landings.
In
the
spring,
there
are
one
or
more
families
of
ducklings
and
goslings.
Some
families
have
just
one
or
two
babies
to
show
off
while
others
have
a
dozen
or
so
to
share.
An
occasional
crane
likes
to
stand
in
the
lake
on
his
long
legs;
watching
him
take
off
is
a
lot
of
fun.
Pretty
colors
fill
the
trees
in
the
fall.
In
the
winter
you
can
sometimes
spot
local
hockey
players
carving
up
the
ice.
