If you asked me what I would rate edge of the universe 3 to 4 months ago, I would have said 5 stars. Unfortunately I have not had the same experiences more recently. The staff that has been there for years have been amazing, they are wonderful. If the staff weren't there, I would probably give negative stars if I could. Since the change in ownership, even the customers can see something is wrong. There have been times since the change where I have checked Facebook and Instagram to see if they were closed ( no updates of being closed are posted ) I come out to go to edge of the universe during what are the new open hours and they are closed. I have ordered drinks, and when I received them, they were made incorrectly and were horrible. These drinks were made by the new owner. I have noticed a big shift in what is going on and ultimately it leads back to the new owner. I'm very sad and disappointed as this used to be my favorite hang out. The only reason I keep coming back is for the staff.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I do wish there were full sit-down meals served or small plates but simply so I could stay longer. The cocktail and charcuterie we had, as well as the homemade pop tart were delicious. The interior is just breathtaking. The employees were very kind and happy to talk to us about the current Vincent Van Gogh installation.

Amazing place! Magical for all ages! We got the pink hot chocolate and Latte and omg the chocolate cupcake was fresh and delicious. They change there themes so make sure you run to check out the enchanted theme going on now!

Beautiful looking Cafe. I think it's theme is more fairy tale. They have a very limited food item menu which consists of charcuterie and some baked goods. They have keto and gluten free options though. Some cool drink options include things like a lighted ice cube or sparkles in your drink. It's what I call an instagrammable Cafe. I was really cold when I was there. They left the door open for some reason and the cold air made it very chilly. It did make my experience not very enjoyable. If I was to base on this single one it would have been a 3 but I'm certain this was an abnormal thing so that's why I put it at a 4 for now. I'll adjust when I return. Didn't see the butter beer so I would want to go back to try that. Pricing is a little high for the latte I had. (It was basic with a shot if vanilla) I didn't get a copy of the menu so I can't remember the pricing on everything. The charcuterie though was a good price. Someone brought in their cat on a leash so I guess you can bring cats in? That was different since I never seen that before. I think it's cool as I am an animal lover.

This place is a gem! It’s a women owned cafe and bar. The aesthetics and decor are so beautiful inside. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. This is a cute spot to grab a coffee or few drinks with your gals or your guy! They have great crafted cocktails and a delicious charcuterie board. You won’t be disappointed. They have a variety of hot drinks, cold drinks, and cocktails. You won’t be disappointed! Come and have a drink with the gals here at Edge of Universe Museum Cafe. There are so many photo opportunities to impress your friends on Tik Tok, Instagram, or Snapchat.

The drinks that I had were absolutely delicious! The lavender flavors are really done well, so if you're looking for a lavender drink I recommend!! The staff is always so sweet and casual and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The decor was to die for and the theme, which changes, was so beautifully executed through the drinks, decor, and art on the walls. They also have many different events like trivia, movie watching parties, music bingo, and more.. It builds a sense of community through a shared interest. I definitely will be going again!

Stopped into Edge of the Universe for a sweet & solo “nightcap” after taking the bartenders recommendation. This drink was DELICIOUS and the best option for self-care night on the town. Only downfall of the night was the cleanliness of the bar at that time. Bathroom toilets were not operating properly and some tables were still dirty.

This place is wonderful! Everything about the staff being great is accurate. Absolutely lovely human beings. The food is good and they’re super accommodating. They made vegan drinks and a vegetarian charcuterie plate on the fly that was delicious! All in all a very cool place with a vibe that’s comfortable, caring and creative. Great experience! Thank you!

This is our favorite spot for date night. The beautiful Goddess's that work here always make the best drinks and nibbles. They clearly love their jobs, because they are always singing and dancing. The owners are great and the wife is a Queen! These beauty's are always polite and very warm and welcoming. I love that their theme changes with the season. Even their drink menu changes. I can't speak enough good things about this place. Keep doing what you do best!

love LOVE it here! Googled “places to sit and chill” and this was the first thing that popped up for me and I was absolutely not disappointed! beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service. the baristas/bartenders are incredible. And my drink was delicious!

We went there yesterday for their Princess day, the staff were so sweet and I felt like a princess. I had their Specialty Pink Hot chocolate, my husband got a boozy milk shake and a couple treats. We loved the strawberry doughnuts and drinks. We also loved the fact that everything was gluten free ( we both have allergies) so we didn't have to worry about that. We then got a couple cocktails, the lavender lemonade was superb and I loved the theme. I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time we go we will get the Chacuterie board. I wish they did sandwiches too but if they did I would never leave. It was such a great coffee shop! I know a few people say it's a bit pricey, it was a bit but It's local and had such a great vibe. I can't wait to go back!! Thank you for making me feel like a princess for the day!

This place is by far the coolest coffee shop there is! The scenery is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the coffee is perfect :) As well as the owner, she’s a doll :)

Oh my goodness! Best coffee shop I've ever been in. Finally a coffee shop that I'd want to be in everyday. New themes often, incredible art and decor. Currently it's a goddess theme. Ask for Mary and Sunny. Fantastic Baristas! Excited about their job! If I lived in Omaha is be a regular customer. Today are having true crime Trivia. Well done The Edge of the Universe. Based on the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Book series. Which is my favorite book series of all time. Can't wait to come back.

Try the Butter beer, no alcohol, but it's amazing. They did say I could add something but it was perfect without. Movie nights are nice and the viewing schedule is classic after classic. The prices are reasonable as well

We had SO much fun visiting this fun & vibrant coffee bar while in Omaha for a minication. The atmosphere is trendy without the aloof/uppity feeling. The staff we incredibly friendly and genuinely looked happy to be there. The coffee was spot on too. 10/10!

The place it self is super cool! Is a weird mix of vintage magical creepy stuff! However I give 2 stars because of the drinks and service! I had to wait more that 15 min for my drink while the bartenders were drinking! Apparently they forgot our order ( because they were already wasted at 9pm) then when they brought our drinks they apologized and asked us. Can we bring you Macaron as sorry for delay? We said yes!! Guess what they forgot to bring the Macaron as well 🤣🤣 never seen drunk bartenders/ waiters as them there!!

Walking into this enchanted forest themed cafe was such an experience. Between the fun menu and bonus menu to the golden ceiling or fairy tail tree against the wall, it's a great hang out place. The owners have done a great job to make the place covid safe, our booth walls were so high you couldn't see any other customers. There were hepa filters between all the tables and bottles of hand sanitizer at our seat. The drinks and food are definitely something I am already looking forward to going back to enjoying. They have a variety of cafe and liquor drinks, even saw someone drinking a Truly. I had their butterbeer, which could be spiked or non alcoholic. They also make their drinks strong! The food was amazing, we ordered the large charcuterie board, a creme brulee (unpictured because we were too excited to dig in), and the Mac and cheese board. This place is a highly recommended. We talked with the owners, who are a great couple and they shared some of the history about the place. We were most interested in the old books they had lying around. Very friendly, very cozy, and very delicious cafe!

Waited over 40min for a large charcuterie board, turned out the pink hair cashier never even put the order in, and got absolute no apologies from her but a condescending “would you like to return it?”. Will not go back. 2 stars for the donut it was good and the latte was decent, but the chai tea was super watered down.

We ventured out today and checked this place out. Totally cute and worth the trip. We had iced coffee and shared a charcuterie board. Great stuff. The atmosphere is whimsical and creative.

This is my favorite place to come read and relax. The decorations are absolutely amazing, and the staff is fantastic. Their drinks taste as good as they look. I recommend this place to all of my friends who want a cafe that actually invites them to stay. I hope it stays around forever!

We stopped in New Year’s Eve, to grab a coffee and a cocktail, and this place was awesome. The atmosphere is so unique, lots of festive decor, good music, and the staff was so happy and fun. We’ll definitely be going back here for a date night. Loved it!!
