This is an authentic and wonderful coffee experience. This has to be best cup of coffee I have ever had and I am usually not one to enjoy dark coffee. I did the coffee experience with five other colleagues and I enjoyed learning about the culture behind the cup of coffee. The owner is so kind and so accommodating. There is no doubt that I will be coming back (with more friends)! This place is a must for anyone who loves coffee and community.

Lovely spot for coffee and breakfast! The coffee and chai are amazing, and the food is SO GOOD!! I loved the fetira with honey, and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. They have smoothies, juice, french toast, and pastries as well. They offer a coffee ceremony for traditional Ethiopian coffee as well!

One of the benefits of living in a larger city is access to diverse and unique businesses - this is one you'll want to visit/support! Trying the traditional Ethiopian coffee with the herb "rue" added is fantastic experience. Also, if you are looking for a memorable dinner date, head over to Lalibela Ethiopian restaurant ( Combo plate is a great place to start if you're new ), and then head across the street to Lucy Ethiopian Coffee. Both are fantastic businesses that Omaha is lucky to have!

Visited Omaha for three days and came here twice. Such a nice, calming coffee shop, great music and atmosphere, and probably most importantly incredibly good coffee and food. Coffee with rue is amazing (came with popcorn and incense), but the regular iced coffee is also really good and unique - can tell they're using great Ethiopian coffee beans. Come through!! Best coffee shop in Nebraska

I loved this place. One visit and it became my new favorite. Quiet and clean inside, and the aroma of the charcoal took me right back to being in Ethiopia. We tried the coffee with rue. First time trying it and was delighted by how great the flavors were together. This really was a great time and I enjoyed it. We will definitely be back, and look forward to trying the coffee ceremony.

Berhan was a wonderful host. She accommodated 15 of us for a coffee ceremony as part of our ongoing local diversity learning. We all had a good time learning more about Ethiopian culture, and having the time to bond. We will definitely come back!

Excellent coffee. We got a traditional Ethiopian coffee and a double espresso over ice. Strong coffee yet smooth to the taste!

I didn't give 5 starts on food because we only had the fetira with honey, but the menu looked yummy. I called ahead and took a large group to do the Ethiopian coffee ceremony. A lovely young woman with a beautiful smile in traditional dress roasted the coffee beans in front of us, brought it around for us to smell, and then ground and brewed it for us, in three consecutive rounds. There isn't a lot of explanation, and between rounds you can chat and move around. The menu looked wonderful, but we only had the fetira (tortilla) and honey. A slightly sweetened popcorn and (ginger or turmeric?) cookies are served with the coffee. The service was so attentive and we all really enjoyed it. Don't do the ceremony if you are in a hurry. The first cup is strong but with cream and sugar it was sooooo nice. The second and third cups get progressively milder. We highly recommend the ceremony for coffee lovers and for a wonderful Ethiopian experience!

Dropped by today after seeing a recommendation on tiktok, and this place was an absolute hidden gem. We tried the traditional Ethiopian coffee, as well as a mocha iced coffee, both of which were amazing. I cannot recommend the traditional coffee enough. The spices were unique, and the coffee was smooth. Service was amazing, and the cafe itself was cute. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We visited Lucy’s on a whim for a 3 person coffee experience- it was awesome! Meron was so accommodating- we did not make a reservation but she led us through the ceremony and only stopped briefly to help customers if they came in. The popcorn and bread included in the experience were delicious! She was so sweet and kind- we would (and have) recommended this to everyone we know!

We experienced the 6 person coffee ceremony and all attending thought it was fantastic - great environment, great service and great coffee! Meron was very kind in sharing details of the Ethiopian traditions and participating on the group conversation - and stuffing us with lots of coffee and snacks. Go. Enjoy the experience. Enjoy the coffee. Try the popcorn!
