My boyfriend, our best friend, and I stopped here for lunch this morning after getting tattoos just a couple of doors down. We expected a small, local diner and what we got was out of this world. The menu is THICK. A huge variety of offerings with something for everybody. Their breakfasts are to die for. Their lunch items too. Their daily specials are the right mix of unique and inclusive. The service is outstanding. I ordered lemonade, and my server just flat out said it was garbage. Did not hold back. She could tell I was serious about my lemonade. What she did have was Tamarind Jarritos which I definitely wanted more than lemonade. At one point, the local mail carrier stopped in, and the staff inquired about maybe doing a wellness check on a customer they hadn't seen in a while. That's the kind of small town diner experience I'd expect in Marceline, Missouri but, here it is in Omaha, Nebraska. Go. get food. and tip your waitress.

Cool little diner with great coffee and home cooked food. It's right on the edge of the Benson strip and has a feel of a small neighborhood Cafe. Enjoyed the service and the food. Great taste and healthy portions. Huge menu for any appetite.

Service is terrible! Ordered coffee while sitting at the counter and still took 10 minutes. Another 5 to bring creamer. Seriously disorganized people running this spot. Where's the Waffle House? Now the food, I had high hopes based on recommendations but mine sat in the window for at least 12 minutes before the disorganized server bothered to bring it to me, so cold food can't get more than 1 star. Some restaurants look like a dive and have great food. Some are just an overall dive, this is the latter. Oh, and the server just asked if I were done with the Tabasco. One bottle in the whole place???

First time and will be back. Staff was great. Food was amazing. It had tons of flavor. The menu has so many choices. Little hole in the wall. I think this is Bensons best kept secret for food! We will he back. Great prices to!!

Waitress was very courteous . Order was timely. I was very satisfied with my bacon and eggs order. Price was right.

Nice little Cafe in Benson area of Omaha, guess it's been there like 80 years!! Think that says a lot by itself right?? My waitress V was super nice and helpful. The pic is of my veggie omelet with turkey sausage, I was super happy they had some other protein other than pork 😁 hashbrowns were nice and crispy on the outside 😋 and most importantly. .they make a good cup of joe!! Great more than reasonable pricing and did you ser the bathroom (womens sorry fellas didn't see yours🤷🏾‍♀️). This place is seriously ALWAYS packed so they gotta be doin something right! Go check it out...65th & Maple.

7/9 Went for breakfast, business slow and there was plenty of staff. A new waiter came over and took our drink request and brought us coffee. He was slow coming back then a waitress came to take our order. We had to call someone over for coffee. That coffee was terrible! I asked for fresh which was better. I had biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was like it was pop and fresh or worse the gravy was ok but lacked flavor. The eggs and sausage were great! There was plenty of staff that stood around instead of checking on customers. 3/24 Went to Joes for breakfast. Noticed a bit of a make over. It looked good food was good too! I've had breakfast many times here. Like the pancakes and French toast. Plus other items.good place to go.

Totally delicious most definitely will be back everything was delicious the French toast and all and great service.

Great hometown throwback place. Busy Sunday morning but food out fast and hot. Hard working service and kitchen staff. Eggs.made exactly as we like them.. We'll be back!

Being a first time mom to a newborn, I had to DoorDash some breakfast or I wasn’t gonna get the chance to eat. Ordering breakfast is usually risky as it’s normal cold and soggy by the time it gets to you. But the food was still nice and warm, perfectly cooked bacon (nice and crispy) and SO yummy. Will have to try and make it in one day. Super thankful for how fast they were and how yummy the food is!

Absolutely love this place. The food and service was exceptional. This will be my new go to everytime my friends and I can get together for a girls time out.

Ordered my food and sat at the counter. Waitress left my food sitting in the window for 10 minutes and told me it wasn't mine. Then try to say, "Oh yes, and deliver a cold plate of food to me. I just left and went somewhere I could be served a hot good breakfast.

Little hole in the wall with good coffee, good food and very friendly service. Biscuits and gravy were delicious but could use a little more meat in the gravy to meet my high southern girl standards. French toast was yummy and the eggs were perfectly done, hash browns were average, I'd ask for them to be crispyer the next time. The star of the meal was the sausage patties. I don't generally care for sausage, but kept asking hubby for bites of it. This one's staying on our Tuesday breakfast rotation.

The food is so good there! I get breakfast everytime & have never been disappointed!

Guaranteed you will not go away from here. Hungry. The value for the food is spectacular. The waitresses our wonderfully friendly and helpful. And if you're looking for home cooked fresh food at a valuable price, you cannot beat Joe's.

My bf and I went this morning for the first time. We loved the small diner old feel. Felt like we were stepping back in time. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious and right amount of servings. Would definitely go back and recommend others to go.

Small town diner feel, quality, and prices. This is my wife and I’s go to spot for breakfast/brunch. Personally my favorite Reuben as well as an amazing breakfast selection. The benson omelette is my go to. Forgot to take pictures but definitely will be back many times. Keep up the good work!

Service was good that’s about the only reason I’m giving 3. Food was very bland, syrup very watery. Craziest thing that is the most uneven floor throughout the entire building.

Expedient service, excellent food, exceptional staff I might be biased but the Al's Special (#3) with a side of sausage gravy is soul touching.

Have been here 3 times, having something different each time. Really great staff and a good cook. It's a rock solid breakfast diner with homemade classics like corned beef hash and chicken fried steak, sausage gravy. Do not miss the French Toast. Thick slices cooked to crispy goodness and dusted with powdered sugar. Two of the three visits the place was hopping so there was a bit of a wait for food but wait staff is attentive. Worth you time to visit.

I really want to love Joes as it’s close to my house but each time we get food from them, there is an issue of some sort. This last time food was missing from the order and upon opening the box, a large hair was left behind. It’s the small details of not making sure orders are correct and hair free that make me want to support other local businesses instead. I did try to call but repeatedly got a busy signal.

My husband and I went to have breakfast there, and We absolutely loved it! Very nice, clean place, the service is excellent 👍 and the food is delicious! I tried the Philly steak omelette, it was so good! We like to try a different place every time we go out, but I can't wait to back to Joe's Cafe😉
