Really nice staff. They helped my party navigate the order process and place drink orders which is a little different than traditional Bar and Grills. The food was ok. Good feedback on the burgers. The onion rings not so much, I would avoid them in the future. Greasy and batter was very thinly coated to say the least. If you like spicy wings...wow, these will be a hit. I could only eat three of the buffalo wings. My lips went numb and my tongue was on blaze! Overall not a bad experience

You walk in and head to the back counter to order. You'll get a number. Go sit at the bar and order a drink. An iced tea pairs nice with that cheeseburger. Service is quick. Pro tip: Ask for a side of ranch with your onion rings. Everything is 💯 here. Stop by if you're in the area. I did not order the wings but they look AMAZING.

Great food! Definitely the best burger and onion rings we have had in a LONG time. That being said, this is a cash only restaurant. Yes, there is an ATM inside, but this is an additional inconvenience for the customer. We will be back.

Great meal at Dinkers! I had the St Patrick’s Day special, which was a patty on rye with Swiss and onions. So good! Love their fries. Be sure to have cash; they don’t take cards.

My wife and I stopped in here for a burger. We split a standard hamburger. We ordered fries and onion rings. The burger was just OK, it didn’t seem like it had any seasoning and the fries did not have any salt either. The onion rings were super good. This place is cash only and you have to order twice if you want something to drink with your food, It’s kind of a hassle but not a big deal. Every employee was super friendly and they were really busy, I think that is the of drive this place. There were tons of people eating, and it seemed like everybody knew one another, I would say the food was average at best, but because of the fun factor, it’s worth a look.

WOW when they say the best burger in Omaha they ain't lying! Not only the best burger but hands down best onion rings I have I have in 40 years. They make them like you should with flour and fry. Not heavy casing on the onion they let the onion ring shine. Just incredible how amazing they were. Sorry I didn't get a picture but I dove right in and didn't come up for air

Dinkers Bar and Grill offers a classic, laid-back atmosphere that feels perfect for watching a game with its dimly lit setting and numerous televisions. The unique setup, requires patrons to order food and drinks separately and the cash-only policy and ATM fee was inconvenient. I tried the Haystack Burger, a popular menu item recommended by the friendly staff. The burger was generously sized, with fresh lettuce and tomato adding a satisfying crunch. The addition of an egg brought a unique twist, though I would have preferred the egg and patty slightly less cooked. While the burger had its high points, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The much-touted onion rings, dubbed 'our famous onion rings' on the menu, unfortunately, didn't impress and required a dip in ranch to truly enjoy. The service at Dinkers was efficient and as friendly, but it didn't stand out enough to elevate the overall dining experience, which, while solid, left me wishing for that little bit more that turns a good meal into a great one. All in all, Dinkers provides a decent bar food experience with a great vibe for sports fans, earning it 3 stars.

Awesome experience at Dinkers. The bartender Mick was lovely and welcoming. The burger was an A+ for sure. The onion rings were excellent. The vibe and atmosphere was fun and easy going. I met a veteran whom, like me, reads a book in a bar. Just a great place and I'll return. Cheers from AZ!

We visited because I had read an article that this was the best hamburgers in Nebraska. I'm not sure I would go that far, but I would definitely say it's a close second in my book. This place is a bar, but way in the back is the grill. There are so many different kinds of hamburgers to choose from. The french fries and tater tots are also a good choice.

This was our first time there because my brother recommended them because of their burgers. I will not be coming back due to a few reasons. First is because my boyfriend got the flat iron steak medium rare but when he cut into it, it was cooked more like medium well-well done. They cooked him a new one which came out basically rare so we asked for our money back. My burger was missing mayo and the burger itself had no flavor to it. The only good thing we ate was the mac and cheese bites.

If you are looking for an old school burger dive with quality food and beverage, this is the place. Awesome burgers cooked and served fresh. You gotta get an order of their onion rings with ranch. Arrive early because it fills up fast. Always a great place to grab a bite.

Smells like burgers. Dark and casual. Order in the back. CASH ONLY (ATM inside). Get a number and seat yourself. DELICIOUS & JUICY! So glad we checked it out! Loved it!

I've heard a lot of hype about this place, but I was not impressed. I tried it twice, and it's a no for me. First time I ordered a burger. It was just ok. I prefer my hamburger to have some type of seasoning, and it had none. On my second visit, I ordered chicken wings without the Buffalo sauce. Again, the chicken was cooked with no type of seasoning, and it looked like it was cooked in the oven and not fried. I attempted to put some salt, pepper, and garlic on them, but it was a bust. I ended up throwing them away because I was at work. I will say that the onion rings and fried mushrooms were good.

I always have a good meal at Dinker's. I really like their fries, burgers, pork tenderloin, and other meal options. I don't drink alcohol but it seems the bar patrons are always pretty happy here, too. It's a spotless clean place with friendly wait staff. During my last visit I accidentally left $15 on the chair next to where I was sitting and the bus person chased me down to give it back!

Cash only. This place is really loud. It's also smelly due to the open grill. These aren't bad things necessarily but you should know before you go. The burgers are great. They come with potato chips - fries or onion rings are an upcharge. It's self-service so you wait in line to order food and then you go to the bar to wait for a drink order - including soft drinks. Staff does come around to serve refills on soft drinks. Staff is friendly and I have no idea how they keep all of the orders straight! We went with a large group and it was well-suited. There are outdoor tables. The entrance is semi-accessible, restrooms are not. Restrooms need to be better maintained.

First time there, food was AMAZING. I'm definitely going back to try other things on the menu. I had the haystack burger. With the fried egg, and it was GREAT. I also got a cherry Pepsi and the use grenadine to make the cherry Pepsi, and that is my favorite way. So that made me a happy customer as well! Will definitely be back many times

Dinkers makes absolutely wonderful burgers. Incredibly fresh ground beef is the foundation of all these hefty burgers with a large list of kinds/toppings on the menu. The burger was delicious. The service was very attentive. The staff were very kind. The atmosphere could use some love but it also gives it a nostalgic charm (if you're accustomed to this restaurant). Overall fantastic experience. I will be back!

Tasty and at a good price. First time here and everything was excellent, the burger was cooked to the correct doneness that I asked for, the service was fast even though there were a lot of people, the prices are fair, and in general everything was tasty and offers a good experience. highly recommended, just be patient as there are many people especially at dinner time.

Juiciest burger I've ever had! Bun was soft. Bacon was crispy. Fries are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely a place you must visit!

Nice sized place inside. Lots of good selections. Our group had several different burgers and tried the fries, onion rings, and mushrooms. Reasonably priced. Will go back!

This is a great place to eat with reasonable prices. The burgers are excellent. The weekend steak special is a great meal after a long day. We enjoy going in for burgers and beers whenever we are in town. Great place to take in a football game. Friendly staff and prompt service. It is cash only but there is an ATM.

Nice casual place that we found when we arrived for the college world series. Cash only, but they have an ATM. Really good burger and most of our party enjoyed the onion rings. Friendly staff and vibe overall with sports on the the TVs. Fairly priced good meal, I would visit this establishment again if we make it back to Omaha.

Dinkers is the place to try. What an amazing little burger joint that has a long history of being one of the best in Omaha. Great friendly staff, attentive service, and amazing people. Sat the East end of the bar where the locals hang out. The burger was perfectly cooked with no frills. Just down home seasoned fresh beef patties.

Great dive bar to stop and grab lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I had the wings when I was here and they were really good.

Cash Only (not complaining) They do have an ATM on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend getting the Mac and Cheese bites. You will not go wrong with what you order. Onion Rings were amazing and the Jalapeño Burger was one of the best I’ve had. I would have took a picture, but it smelled too good to wait. I’ll recommend this place to anyone that wants a good place to eat.

We stop while in town for a burger to give it a try. The burgers were really good! We also got fries and onions rings. All was very good! We do suggest getting men’s fitting tshirts. We wanted a shirt but they were all Bella canvas which isn’t an ideal fit for everyone.

It's an absolutely amazing burger! The place has a cool vibe..cash only! Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be on our short list next time we're back in Omaha.

Was a bit nervous since I relocated to Omaha from a few states down, but they really make sure you feel welcome and have great service and food! Mellow vibe as well! 10/10 would recommend

Happened to be in Omaha and looked to see where the best burger was and this popped up and we decided to give it a try. It definitely did not disappoint! The gal taking our order suggested the Haystack and she was absolutely right. AMAZING burger, service and atmosphere! Will definitely be back again.

We're not from Omaha, but this place puts every burger place I've been to to shame!!!! Awesome food, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere!

When you put 'Omaha's Best Burger' on your sign you are inviting some comments. It takes a certain type of confidence and swag to say that and... Yes! They said 'bring it' and they brought it! Rave Reviews. Smackin' Burgers. We went with the Hog Wild BBQ Pulled Pork Brisket Burger and a Jalepeno Burger. The 'Fr-ings' were great too, and the tomato on my burger was the reddest and juiciest I've ever seen! Old full bar feel, nothing crazy here but great burgers! We'll be back! 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔

Great burgers and onion rings. Also tried the pork fritter... Very good. There's a reason this place has been open so long.

Dinkers has the BEST bar food around! Every time I go it’s such a fun atmosphere and the food is on point. I love the Swiss mushroom burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The beer is always cold and tastes fresh on tap. I tell friends about this restaurant all the time. You have to try it!!

So good! I used to go here as a kid and haven’t been back till now and the atmosphere still hasn’t changed. Good people. Jukebox music. The onion rings are the best onion rings I’ve ever had, super flaky, super yummy, not burn your tongue hot but far from cold too, and they serve it with runny ranch!! The waitress was super sweet and the bartender was even nicer. All across the board a great experience and a great flashback to my childhood.

Great dinner spot!! My boyfriend & I stopped overnight in Omaha on a road trip to Colorado, and decided to eat here based on the good reviews it had. I had the cheeseburger & fries, my boyfriend had the hat trick burger & fries, and we split some mozzarella (cheese) sticks. We both agree that the mozzarella sticks were delicious! I thought my cheeseburger was tasty. My boyfriend liked his hat trick burger as well. The fries were crispy and medium-thick, and were also delicious! The process to order is a little confusing (but worth it still!): you go the whole way back to the counter on the right (almost to the entire back of the store), order there (they only take cash—but there is an ATM in the restaurant), and then you order all drinks from the bar (including non-alcoholic beverages). At the food counter, they give you a number for your table once you order, and it was self-seating after that. It was fairly busy, but we found a table just fine. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. The staff was extremely friendly and great to explain how ordering worked!! A few workers periodically came to refill our drinks and take away finished plates/baskets. From the outside, Dinkers really doesn’t look like much BUT I couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a delicious meal at a good value, and an easy-going, laid back atmosphere!

The food was so DELICIOUS!! It's a small but cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly & helpful. The food is AMAZING!!! They are famous for their burgers (&maybe onion rings too). Real food made by real people @ a great price!! I can't wait to try something else there!

Came for the burgers, will be back for the apps. Very nice selection of American staples. The staff was wonderful in every way. We got two burgers (patti melt and hat trick), fries, mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, and macaroni bites. We LOVED the macaroni bites. So much so we ordered some to go. Mushrooms were excellent. Mozzarella sticks never disappoint if the oil is good; which it was. All but one tiny detail was great about the burgers. NICE size, fresh toppings, good bread, bacon was fine, tasty sauces and cheeses... okay, they could have used more cheese, but the main issue was the burgers themselves were dry. Perhaps if we'd ordered them medium, that would have helped, but we weren't given the option and didn't think to custom order how the burgers were cooked. Either they need 5% more fat content and/or don't cook them so well done. And that's why we only gave 4 stars instead of 5. We came for the burgers and they didn't align to what was advertised, but we'd like to come back and check out their steaks, wings and other offerings.

The best burgers in Omaha! I have been a patron here for years. It never fails to disappoint. It is an Omaha classic, that has been here longer than most places and it sticks around for a good reason, the food is great! It is a bar and restaurant although I think it is more of a restaurant. It has massive burgers bigger than your hands. It is an old school style place where they write your order on a ticket and cook it up. They have fries and potato chips to choose as sides. Overall I would recommend it, especially for anyone looking to escape the latest hipster fad burger and want a taste of the “real Omaha” and the authentic burger experience. It is a must visit if you are in town and wanting a burger!
