I came here after reading a local farm-to-table article for Omaha. I'm always down to support locally sourced restaurants. I Ordered the Spicy Sriracha jalapeno bacon patty melt... It was good, just really greasy. Substituted sweet potato fries instead of tots and those came out soggy and greasy.. The service was better than their bar food. Not bad, just not what I was expecting after reading the awesome article. 😊 I would still go back and try the Greek salad. 😊 They have outside patio seating and the WiFi password is 88localbar88 😁

The chicken strips are amazing. Like the best we’ve ever had. Only reason for the four-star is because I can’t believe we paid $12 for only 5 chicken strips. No it didn’t come with a side. With that being said We will be coming back to get them but at two dollars a chicken strip it will be for special occasions lol The hamburger we got the spicy one It was perfectly cooked and perfectly spicy! The side noodles went well with it to cool down the heat, but lacked flavor to stand on there own. Thank you for a good meal, but please include some kind of side with those chicken strips at that price :)

The atmosphere was cozy with lots of TV's. Waitress was friendly and attentive. The beer selection was good, and what we chose was refreshing. The meatloaf sandwich had great flavor and nice portion size. The Philly sandwich was excellent, both the bread and meat very tender and tasty.

Amazing food! Huge selection of on tap beers, ciders, and also a phenomenal liquor selection! Not to mention daily specials as well as very reasonable prices for food that was truly fresh and not processed BS! Probably one of the best Reuben sandwiches hands down that I have had at any restaurant I've been to! The staff and the manager there are super friendly, very accommodating, as well as very nice and make you feel right at home! I just moved to the Millard area and this will definitely be my LOCAL hangout! No pun intended! HAHA 😂

Great place to grab some fairly standard Bar food, burgers wings and the typical appetizers. All the food we ordered was acceptable with nothing really being above or below board. The beer selection was great with something on tap for every palette. The service was great with our server being punctual and attentive despite the busy environment. The seating was great booths and tables available at our discretion. There was also an outside courtyard with a fire pit and plenty of seating. Overall a great place to have some wings and a drink!

Enjoyable medium sized pub. Many craft beers available. Fun trivia game going on. Wifi. Helpful wait staff. Clean and comfortable inside. Sports on TV. Clean restrooms. Tasty flat breat pizza. Bar food. I spent a bit more than expected.

I highly recommend you check out this restaurant. The beer selection is incredible. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the beers they have on deck. The patio was nice and our server was friendly. The fried pickles are seriously the best I’ve ever had. My fiancé got the chicken and waffles, and is already asking when we can go back so he can order it again. I got a buffalo chicken wrap, which was very good. We ordered dessert to go, which was on par with the rest of the meal.

The first time I was there: Philly Cheesesteak was great. Server was very friendly. Second time: I had the meatloaf. It was good, but could have been seasoned a little more. The mashed potatoes had something wrong with them. Not sure if they were microwaved. The tots were cold. They brought more out, and they smelled like funnel cakes from a carnival, and were very oily. I would not recommend the lava cake. There wasn't any lava to it. It was a piece of cake with chocolate syrup drizzled on it. I didn't even taste raspberry on it, which it was supposed to have. The limoncello cake was very good.

I was impressed by both the tap selection (broad array of both breweries and beer types) and how knowledgeable and engaged the staff was. Food was well prepared. If I lived in Omaha I would happily make it my local pub.

Appreciate you guys finally changing your mind set around sides, definitely a location that listens to feedback. Worth the money you spend. Here’s my original review (Loved the food and beer, service is great. However its getting to the point where it’s not worth the price. Totally understand the prices you charge for the local beer. But I usually get food to go and have continuously been disappointed with the portions of the food you all give. $8 for just mac and cheese? If it’s sides I get maybe 12 tots, fries I also get 12 if I’m lucky. If I’m going to pay 15+ for a burger and fries I should at least be able to say I’m satisfied at the end, especially if I can get the same quality for less the price. It’s not the kitchen or services fault. Owners need to improve their worth and increase portions.)

First time I’d visited this establishment and had never heard of it prior. Went to lunch with some family members after piquing our interest when searching restaurants in the area. The restaurant was nearly empty except for a few patrons at the bar. Our food came out fairly quickly as expected but there were some issues. The sides had been mixed up with half of the order. In addition, the burger patties were half the size of the bun - essentially mini hockey pucks. Overall, not a raving experience by any means which was unfortunate.

The atmosphere and service were great, the food is where it was average. After commenting on an issue it was acknowledged and forgotten by the staff. Not even an apology. If you find something you love here, or just want drinks it would be a great place. But don't expect above average food.

Local is a great close to home option for cheap beers and Sunday football. All 30+ beers are $3.50 with some of the higher priced options only a half pour (8oz). Lots of tvs and seating options if you don't prefer sitting at the bar. The only real negative is the food prices and portions. For what you pay, the portions are a bit weak but the cheaper beers on Sundays helps offset that a little. If they bring their food prices down a little or increase portion sizes it's a solid win.

We enjoy coming to Local about once a month due to the beer selection and good food. Favorites are the Rueben and Meatloaf sandwich. However the cod is not good in the Fish and Tots. Dry, chewy, like a deep fried sponge. Everything else is fine.

First time at Local. Everything was great! The best waiter (Chris). He’s happy, friendly and always with a smile. I’ll definitely be back!

Server Phil was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions. It is unfortunate that the establishment charges 3% for the use of credit cards and only has a small sign posted on the door. It would be beneficial if the servers could mention this prior to taking payment. I had plenty of cash on hand and would have been happy to pay cash instead of using a card and being charged the NCF (noncash fee). Buyer beware

The pretzel did not taste like a pretzel.... Dry and flavorless. Needed some butter. I had a better one at Sonic. Super dark hallway where the restrooms are. Service was good. Great beer selection.

This place is absolutely what I needed after working two shifts. The chopped wedge salad with salmon on top was delicious! Perfect amount of ingredients. The wings were cooked to perfection, and not at all gummy! The I tried the Moscow mule and loved every sip! I'll be back! And Bobbi was terrific! A very friendly atmosphere!

Food was tasty, served fast, and priced very fair. Craft local beer selection was excellent and also fairly priced....the atmosphere, ehhh, its in Millard on a busy trafficked and ugly street, but the do have a decent patio to sit outside. Service was excellent. For the food and drink and service quality, can overlook the environment, worth a check-out.

Beer selection is amazing. Ate on the dog friendly patio, and there was no shade. Ordered an app of wings and celery and carrots are $2 extra for some reason. Only stayed around for one beer and those wings because it was so hot in full sun. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Went on a rainy Monday night after driving from Denver. The bar staff was very friendly with great recommendations from their expansive beer selection. Food was good with interesting twists and not in a bad way. It also has a great feel with a neat fire on the patio and spacious dining room/ bar. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

Went with a big group, had a great time! Food was good. We had appetizers - Hummus trio, tot nachos, and cheese curds. All good. I had the salmon and bacon sandwich it was delicious. I love hard Cider, and they had a blue raspberry Cider that was a gorgeous shade of blue, and tasted great (it was a sweet Cider, which I liked). Others had the cobb salad, mac n cheese, and some other yummy things... everyone was happy. We split a chocolate lava cake for dessert - one spoonful for each of the six of us, which was perfect!

Spent over $100.00 on my take out order, for a family of 4. Employee were super friendly and nice. However, food was not the best we've eaten. The fried pickles and onion rings were over breaded, so you couldnt really taste the pickles nor the onion rings. Desert for $10.00 was very disappointing, considering it only feeds 1 person (picture down below); also I did call and ask why did I recieve so little desert for the price of desert and employee said "unfortunately thats the amount we serve to all guests". Wraps were okay (filling), but it felt like something was missing in both wraps. Wife ended up getting an order of fries with her wrap and the amount of fries recieved was very disappointing. For my first impression of the food quality for the price, way over priced for the quality and amount of food received. I probably wont be coming here again for the food.

I'd only ever been to their Gretna location a few times and was never impressed, so I grudgingly stopped in for a weekday lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised as my food was mostly decent and service was good. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger with Onion Rings. The burger was very good. The onion rings were a little too heavily breaded and they only gave me like 3 of them. No worries, though, as the burger was more than enough to fill me up so the most uneaten onion rings were no real loss. I'll stop back and try some other menu options. I will say that entering from the rear of the building is a little awkward. There's no hostess stand and so if there are no nearby employees you sort of find yourself awkwardly standing there not knowing if it's okay to seat yourself and, if you do, if you'll get noticed and waited on. Considering most people enter from the rear (as that's where the parking is) it seems like problem they should address.

Danni was wonderful and accommodating, she really elevated our afternoon of drinks and appetizers! She is friendly and knowledgeable and suggested wonderful beer pairings for our delicious food.

I had a horrendously bad experience at Local in Millard this past weekend. I'd love to call it a "dining experience" but considering we never got a menu, water or food it's difficult to describe it as that. My party of two arrived around 6:00ish and left by 6:30. We waited over 25 minutes without receiving a menu or water, which quite frankly, is just an unacceptable dining experience. Servers constantly walked past our table without acknowledging us or noticing that we hadn't receive anything since arriving. I can recognize that it was busy that night, but water and a menu is the absolute bare minimum. This really turned me off on the entire idea of visiting or attempting to dine at Local again. You'd have better luck hunting and gathering for your food than going to the Local Beer Patio in Millard. -100/10 experience.
