The Varsity on F Street is a great place to watch sports. I like the very roomy open floor plan and all of the screens. There really is not a bad seat in the house for watching sports.the patio is very nice also. And offers a really nice view of the lake it's a great place to sit outside when the weather is nice. The service is excellent. Server was very attentive and very friendly also. The food is not that great. I ordered a Philly sandwich today and it wasn't very good. I have added some photos to my review. It just seemed like a lot of mozzarella cheese gooped on a bun with some bits of tough meat in it. The curly fries were overpriced at $6. Also the Curly fries were just a bunch of over cooked stubs. There not many full size curly fries. I like the beer specials they have during football games. I'll definitely go back but I won't be ordering any sandwiches or fries. ✓ If this review was helpful please smash that thumbs-up button! My first visit and will not be my last. We sat out back on the patio which over looks a small lake and the ducks patiently wait for a snack or two. We had a wonderful dinner. The breadsticks are some of the best I have had. The crust for their pizza is very good therefore making the pizza a must try. The servers were very friendly and attentive.

The pizza and wings here are absolutely delicious. I have ordered delivery from this restaurant for years. Most recently I got delivered an order of fries and wings that I wasn't particularly happy with and the manager went out of his way to re-deliver new wings and fries himself since his delivery driver was out. This just solidified my overall satisfaction with this restaurant as well as the customer service. Absolutely would recommend.

Food was what you would expect from a sports bar. Except for the cheesy bread. That stuff was amazing. However, This place felt short in service. the table I was at along with many others were waiting to be checked out, have drinks refilled, checked in on to see how our meals were, and other things. None of this was done as all servers were sitting at a table and could be seen on their phones. Our server was friendly enough. When she did appear. I understand there is a staff shortage for resturants as I work in the industry as well. This was not the issue in this case. Witnessed the FOH manager delete entrees that had never come for another table because the table decided to leave due to poor service. The manager appeared checked out and uninterested in the tables reason for leaving.

This place has the best parmesan sticks in the world. Deep dish pizza was dope absolutely amazing! You got to try that crust! And you've got to dip the parmesan breadsticks in a side of ranch!

Really good pizza. We had the Buffalo chicken, and the supreme. We actually ordered a different pizza than the supreme, but that's what they brought us and it was really good! However the kids spaghetti we ordered came out way late, and unfortunately our little one was frustrated by then. However all that said to say the pizza is amazing, and the portions are 💪💪💪💪 will come back.

The food is absolutely delicious and amazing. The pizza is excellent and delicious. The staff is great too. And the manager Ron is one of the best managers I have ever met. Truly cares about his staff and restaurant. Takes pride in his work, food and establishment. Great place for families and sporting events.

Went to a bar with family during the holidays. Nice and clean and the bartender was nice. Really like the fact that they had 3 alcoholic beer options (Bud, NA Busch NA, and Lagunitas IPNA). Appreciate the all free options.

The atmosphere is good with a bunch of sports TVs. Service is getting better, but I've never had good experience with ordering over the phone. The last time I went, the food quality dropped for the burgers, and I was disappointed since they were SO good. Wings were great, tho. Might just stick to dine-in pizza.

We had a large crew come there. We called ahead and they set up an area for us ready to go when we got there. Our waitress Carmen did an amazing job handling all the food and drink orders, individualized requests, and the different bills. Very pleased with how our group was taken care of.

Went in with friends and the food was great and service was awesome we asked for the channel to get changed and they were happy to do it. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoy getting pizza at Varsity. I think they put out a great pizza product. Good ranch too. Why 4 stars? 1. They charge extra for ranch. 2. They NEVER include it in deliveries. Yep, all caps because it's happened to me 3 or 4 times and it's very frustrating. I still recommend it, just don't expect to get your ranch if you order it online for delivery. I think Varsity owes me about $10 for unfulfilled ranch orders.

It was Saturday afternoon the 1-2-23, there was one waitress, a day that the chiefs were playing. We waited for the waitress to come back, 20 mins into waiting I had to box my own pizza and go up to the bar and pay. Very frustrating! The pizza was amazing, they just need more servers.

I love the Chicago style deep dish pizza. When I order it the 2nd time from Varsity, I got held up and got there an hour late to pick up the pizza. The take out guy offered to make me a new pizza, since it had been sitting out so long. While I was waiting the rest of the staff seemed really attentive. Good food and good service will keep me coming back.

My first experience was great! Will definitely be coming back, our server Carmen was on it! Super nice and helpful, needless to say next time we will be requesting her as our server. You wont be disappointed! Not to mention our food was absolutely amazing! 👍❤️

Sports Bar and pizzeria. Seat yourself, which works good for the layout. Waitress was Rochelle Order.. Appetizer.. Crinkle fries (with ranch for my wife).. A lot of times you will get a greasy or mushy fry, we've come to expect that, but that is not the case here. Each fry is perfectly cooked not greasy, and the homemade when I'm guessing is buttermilk ranch is absolutely fantastic. I know that fries are not usually a prime consideration when deciding where to eat dinner but these are really good fries. Pizzas.. Chicago, pizza is pizza well not always there are things to consider. Is the crust soggy, is it crispy, is it burnt, did we overload the toppings and it led to crust with the consistency of mush or did it turn it into a platter of grease. With the Chicago Pizza the amount of Toppings is perfect for the crust the flavors are spot on, no crust is cooked exactly how it should be, it is very much a good all-around Pizza if you are like me and enjoy a lot of toppings. Tommy girl... This is a simpler Pizza, what I noticed right away is that even though it's buffalo chicken it doesn't overpower the pizza it's very complimentary and as with the Chicago the crust is cooked perfectly. This pizza has a cream cheese ranch base, I am very much a fan. Back to the crust, this is a very important element of a good pizza. And as many of you probably already know, many places mess this up. It really does have the right amount of chew with crispiness. And this remains constant throughout the pizza even the middle where many times the grease likes to puddle, but the crust on these pizzas are perfect through and through. Overall we would strongly recommend this place. Everything was excellent including our waitress.

Waited about about 20 minutes just to get my appetizer. Was told their take out orders were taken care of before my inhouse order. Food was ok, my burger had no season and my sweet potatoes fries were overcooked, black edges on each waffle.

Agreed with most negative reviews on this page! There is most definitely one server/bar tender that ruined the whole experience from the second we walked in the door we received dirty looks from her. We waited 20 mins to get drinks… then another 30 to order.. then to not even receive my brother in laws food…and have several items wrong! We can also look past the snide remarks and eye rolling but needless to say we will NEVER return to this location!

Very comfortable and quiet atmosphere. Brandy was "on the spot" and very attentive. Pizza was cooked well and served hot. Great job!

Great motz bread sticks. They have a reasonable delivery charge but I like to tip cash and they always forget something on my order. I got my Cali burger and no guac. The one employee gave me free bread sticks when the order was wrong. He also helped me out when I ordered from the other location. I will continue to get food there . The motz sticks are amazing.

This is a cool dive bar in the area with great, inexpensive cocktails. It's a chill hangout spot to hang out with some friends.

No marinara sauce with the cheese bread and overpriced at that. A very Mc Donald’s experience forgetting the basics.

Love the staff here, especially Christian! Been seeing him here for years! We ordered the x-large meat lovers and it is worth every penny each time! Will be back soon!

I’ve been a varsity patron for over a decade but lately it has a completely different vibe. I don’t know what’s going on but there’s been some insane turnover of seasoned employees so I won’t be back

We sat outside since it was so nice out. There were only 2 wait staff covering. After about 40 minutes, we went inside to ask the bartender we needed service. She was an excellent waitress! The food was quick coming out and it was good as usual. And I like that they had "girl" handwash in the bathroom!

Love the pizza and cheese bread and the service has always been friendly. Just recently had a bummer of an experience here and figured I'd mention it in hopes management can sort these things out. Sat at a table for 10 minutes and the only interaction I had was the bartender saying hello when I walked in. I moved to the bar to eat instead and the server finally came over and apologized. Unfortunately, my new seat at the bar was wafted every ten seconds or so with an intense hot garbage smell. Tried moving, but it didn't seem to help much. My only gripe with the food was the $2.50 upcharge for dollar store level frozen onion rings.

Oh man alive. There are so so many good choices but EVERY TIME I go here I HAVE to get the bacon cheeseburger pizza. It’s my favorite pizza creation, probably ever. Yes, complete with a pickle topping and all.

The best deep dish Chicago style pizza in the metro area. This is a great place to meet with family and friends. Casual atmosphere with plenty of TVs and really nice staff. The cheese bread, mushrooms, onion rings and fetechinni are also fantastic.

I came here for a quick dine in dinner with my family. Nothing but poor service. 3 waitress seen us sit down. Staring at us, not a word said. I’ll be there with you. Oh, someone will be there with you. Nothing. 10mins past someone comes up and finally takes our order. I’m a server too. And this is not the way I treat my people that come in to the restaurant. There pizza on sundays are 2 toppings for 13.99. We got charge for regular price. 17.99. Plus drinks on domestic as well. The waitress on Sunday nights seem not to care. Never going here again. I wasn’t too far from this location. That’s why we stop here. Next time I’ll just do the 10mins drive to 96 & Q instead. There food taste waaaay better than here.

Very clean, friendly staff. Had the deep dish pizza-horrible. Burnt edges and the middle was soggy and not cooked. Server was busy but it was hard to eat this pizza with no drink.

The pizza was hyped so that is what we ordered but it came out overcooked. It's a nice bar to go watch the game though!

Went in and got told to seat ourself. We sat and waited at least 30 minutes to see other tables being waited on except for us! So I decided to go up to the bar and asked if we could place an order there (we had 3 hungry kids!) or even order our drinks.. but got told to have a seat and they’ll send someone over. I watched the bartender Approach the waitress and for a good 5 minutes they laughed and talked. (Pretty good sign they were talking about us in a not professional manner while giving us eye contact!) she then came to take our drink order but was not very friendly.. we waited another 20 minutes before she even came to take our food order and our drinks were completely empty by then. Finally ordered our food and ordered no cream cheese and told her I was not a fan of it and she said no problem but guess what our pizza had on it? Cream cheese.. what a joke! Long story short it was my first and last time at this restaurant especially this location!

So with out a doubt they have fantastic food and service staff. There is one person at this place that is seriously hurting their business and atmosphere. It's difficult to come to Varsity when she's working but we continue to support the establishment just the same. Changes should be made and she knows who she is. So this evening 12/26/22 This server who read this review told me she was surprised to see me in HER BAR!.. When I asked her what she meant she said "After that stellar review you gave me.. I am surprised you came back" This place needs to purge themselves of this toxic person who has NOTHING good to say about the customers or employees.. So sad. Again you know who you are.

Food- fresh cheesy and delish, super yummy Place- clean, spacious, plenty of parking and nice bathrooms. Plus great music, they have touchtunes ! My server - Angela was amazing. I couldn't have asked for better service. Will request her every time. Don't know that I've ever had a better server.

The worst service!! Rude waitress! Just left after being there for 45 minutes without even being asked for a drink order! I guess another restaurant will be receiving our money! Sad, expecially with the economy being as it is. Varsity may not be around if service stays as is.... Good luck Varsity!!!!

Ordered 1 large pizza for takeout. They admitted the pizza wasn’t what I ordered. Remade it and this what I came home with. So disgusting and disappointing🤮

Rude! Rude ! Rude! Bartender /server/keno lady. Brunette lady who tells you she has no time to write a ticket in such a rude way does not need to be there, we came with a huge crowd spent alot of money and was treated like a child when we decided to play keno. Get a writer or close it down but don't talk to us grown woman the way you did. It was not on us that your establishment could not hire enough staff to accommodate everyone you allow in. Stop being rude 10 of us will not be back and let our neighborhood know how bad you treated us as a server/bartender. You should be ashamed of yourself.
