It has been quite some time since we visited Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen due to the pandemic. I was less than impressed with our visit. I know many places are understaffed, but it appeared that Cheddar’s had no issues with staffing on the night we were there. I was less than impressed due to very slow service which included drink refills, croissant ziosk order and forgotten items that took 15 minutes to be brought out. Definitely think we will wait sometime before revisiting this restaurant. Past experiences have been good.

Stopped in for an evening meal on a Friday with my wife and 2 young daughters. My wife checked in online an hour before we arrived. Otherwise, there was a decent wait at the door. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. We ordered an appetizer and 4 entrees: chicken Alfredo, Buffalo chicken wraps, Ribeye steak, and country fried steak. The service was good, the food came out fast and tasted excellent. We all tried bites of each others food. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely eat here again.

I've visited a few locations across the US. This one did not disappoint. The wait wasn't too long for a Friday night. The food as always is very hard to beat for the price point. The Wisconsin cheese bites are amazing, mostly due to the homemade ranch that comes with. The steak was over cooked(why I dropped to 4 stars). I ordered medium rare and almost 0% pink center. The drinks were good. My wife tried the painkiller and was very impressed.

Today is Father's Day and over the lunch period. We should have made reservations. The food was so good 👍 😋. Customer service was on target, our server was great. He was very attentive to our requests.

Generally speaking, Cheddars is a cheap, modern restaurant with strong cocktails. I've been here upwards of 10 times. My most recent visit deducted a star because the pasta I got was extremely plain. There is generally a wait on Friday and Saturdays.

We stopped in after church. The place was clean and the decor is amazing. Beautiful fish tank and it felt like you walked into a resort. We waited a few minutes and then we were greeted by Liv. She brought some complimentary croissants, possibly for the wait. She was amazing. We placed our orders. Chicken fried chicken and the sirloin. My friend had the chicken fried chicken and she loved it. My steak was ordered medium well and came out dry, next time medium. My baked potato was a little dry as well. We didn’t get dessert.

😋 Server brought out Cheddar's signature Honey butter croissants to open the meal- 'almost" like having a pastry dessert before the main course- very good. Bourbon glazed salmon is tender & flaky- all cooked medium. Multiple choices of sides- ordered the broccoli cheese casserole and what turned out to be a plentiful serving of steamed broccoli which were a great complement. Nice surroundings- above average franchise. Excellent service.

Twelve years later and WOW, still as good as it was the first time I ate here. Busy dinner hour and seated immediately. Our server was one of the best I've seen in a long time. Professional, funny, and well trained younger man. I let his manager know about how well we appreciated him after we all had a very long day with funeral duty. Food was delicious! The spinach artichokes dip is an absolute must have as others have mentioned. Bourbon glazed salmon and ribeye steak all made to perfection! Everything truly perfect! Thank you!

Unimpressed. The manager, assumingly because she didn't introduce herself but was dressed differently, didn't take note that we were half way thru our meals and I hadn't touched my margarita because I disliked it. It was a plain lime margarita with salt and a tiny splash of strawberry 'puree' for a pink look, and nothing Swirl about it. I wouldn't be writing this except she specifically stopped by and asked if we needed our coke & tea refilled. That's another indicator of customer dissatisfaction overlooked–we didn't just stick to the water, we actually ordered other non-alcoholic drinks. The picture is showing just how much I drank of the margarita–finished my coke to leave and a full $7 drink was left behind. Our server, Valerie, was pretty awesome. She asked how our meals were, and I'm pretty sure our non-alcoholic drinks were never below half full until we paid to leave...another reason I was surprised the manager asked what we were drinking to refill. We had drinks. If you're making rounds, as an experienced Manager, just say Hello and ask if we're enjoying everything and if there's anything else you could get for us. Boom. You sound like you care and offered an upcharge to the check.

I really enjoyed my fish entre. The decorations are beautiful and the fish aquarium is nice to view while waiting for our seats. The food is fresh and there's usually always a wait on Sundays but it's worth the wait. Prices are normal for a restaurant, not cheap but not too expensive.

Went to celebrate a milestone birthday with the family. Called in 2 hours in advance for reservations and even with arriving 15 minutes early for the seating, we still waited almost an hour. When asking about it the less then friendly hostesses said, "we are working on it!" I saw countless tables of 2, 3, and 4 being seated... we were a table of 8. They then ask if it would be okay to split us up between two tables - which we said okay to and within 5 minutes. That was the only unpleasant part. Our servers were amazing... yes, we only really had a younger guy but him and lady in her mid to late thirties were helping him out with his tables, and they were so friendly and personal and worth the trip. The food there is, and the only issue was my mom felt the blacken shrimp was too spicy, so we helped her eat it. But everything was amazing after leaving the hostess stand.

We had a bigger group. Our server seemed to struggle keeping up, maybe they had one than one big group. Food was fabulous. The croissant they bring out initially tasted homemade. One of our group kept commenting how light, and airy it tasted. All meals we delicious. Decor was fun and enjoyable.

I was having a hard day (my dog died). Our waitress was so amazing. She was exactly what I needed in my day and there are so many yummy comfort foods available. This restaurant was healing for my soul tonight.

The customer service with our waitress was top-notch, being attentive, on spot with drinks, food, and a genuine smiles too. The food....oh yeah, just as good as I remembered it to be, 100% Yum factor! :-) My guests had a great time too, with more than enough food for them to enjoy that they had to get boxes to go. Definitely a place to go for a special occasion or whenever you want to enjoy good food and service too.

We were seated and waited on promptly. My husband and I ordered frozen margaritas and our friends a beer and soft drink, along with water. The waters came fast, but the drinks had a 10 minute wait. The margaritas were horrible. Very large, but I don't think there was even a full shot of tequila in the glass. My husband returned his, which is what I should have done. Our friend's beer came in the bottle (no question if he wanted a glass,) and our other friend's soft drink was forgotten until I asked for her. My husband's burger was cold and unseasoned as were his fries. My pot pie was hot and good. Our bill was brought and the credit card processed (with tip of course,) then we never saw our waitress again. My husband asked a passing worker to refill our waters. He said he would, then never returned. Once we had paid, we were forgotten, even though we drew attention to the fact that we were still visiting and needed water refills. This was a Tuesday night, and it was not busy, so were not keeping a needed table occupied. I would not recommend this Cheddars to anyone.

I dined here with a good buddy of mine. The food was DELICIOUS! We ate all the things, lol. The establishment was very clean and parking was full-ish but still not a long walk to the door. Our wait time for food and appetizers was surprisingly under 30 minutes. Our waitress was very kind. Overall, I had a great experience at a great place. Thumbs up, Cheddars!

We went for my nieces birthday, and Jose F helped two tables of family and friends. He did an amazing job. There were no issues with our order, and he got us what we needed quickly. The food was so good that I now have a new favorite, the key west chicken and shrimp to order when I go again.

I go here for the chicken tenders and croissants. Homemade ranch of course. I liked the coconut shrimp, too but they took that off the menu. Nothing else is really exceptional. Alcoholic drinks are super sugary and barely any booze. Had the ribs this time and regretted it. “Fall off the bone” apparently means over cooked and dry. Service is usually pretty good but this time they bussed our table when I took my kids the bathroom (we were seated 10 min prior).

I ordered a medium 16 oz steak and explicitly asked for it to be pink in the middle. I received a well-done. The server did not come often to check on us, so it took about 10 minutes after I cut into the steak. They replace the steak with a medium. My wife asked for buffalo sauce to go with the chicken she ordered, we have to ask again and wait. I think the service deteriorated overtime. We weren't offered refills for our drinks. The green beans side was very small. The steak in the photo is supposed to be medium the plastic markers in the steak say medium, it was very well done

Our family of five came to the L street location. Gabe was our waiter and he was phenomenal!! He was so patient with our kids. You can tell he busts his butt at work. Very hard worker, we were impressed. Keep up the great work Gabe!

Noisy because it was packed. Great food which explains the crowd and noise. Service was quick for the size of plates served. I would recommend visiting next time you are in Omaha.

Went there late around 7 on a Sunday after family pictures. They were busy. The spinach dip was very good but needs more chips with it. My son loves the long Island iced tea. Both of our sons got the ribeye, they ate everybite. My husband got the burger, was charred a Little too long. My pot pie I do not recommend. It had a piece of gristle in it, was too runny and just tasted like onions. The broccoli rice casserole was good.

Never again will I visit this restaurant! My daughter's steak was raw! When she cut it open, it was still ice cold! My husband's steak was rare and he had them remake it. It should have been medium, but the second try they cooked it well-done. It took almost 20 minutes for our server to finally come over to check on us after we got the food the first time, despite me asking other servers to find my server. The Manager came over and just said, "oh yeah it's a little blue!" No, it's raw! Of course they tried to fix it, but I am not eating at any restaurant that has the nerve to serve a completely raw steak.

We were seated in the bar in the corner booth which we should have requested a table. It was a tight fit for 7. But we were hungry and wanted to eat. The waitress took our order. We got our appetizer. But after waiting for an hour and the waiters forgot about us. I had to get up and find someone get our food. After we had finally gotten our food. The staff did come to the table to say they did not know what had happened. All in all it was not the experience I had previously.

A great place to eat. All the employees were very friendly and full of smiles. Fantastic service from our waitresses and the manager stopped to check on us too. The ribs are melt in your mouth delicious. I was very impressed, service is top notch and food arrived quickly. The cost of our meal was very fair as well. I've paid alot more for much less. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere here is top-notch. It almost feels like a fancy upscale restaurant and its always delightful to see the inside. Unfortunately, the food falls short and isn't nearly as good as it used to be. Sometimes I enjoy the croissants more than my actual meal. Those are actually superb. On our most recent visit I ordered a burger that was bland and tasteless and makes me question whether we will ever be back. I wish the food matched the atmosphere.

Tasty food and great service . Best ribeye steak we ever had. The honey butter croissants I highly recommend they're absolutely fabulous! Cheddar bites was so amazing also. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. You will not regret eating here
