I’ve gone to Golden Corral in over 15 states several times and this was the worst. Honestly. The food was cold, I was given looks for asking for a medium rare steak, the lady giving me ham was hesitant because it was “low” and they probably didn’t want to make more… they were out of a lot of stuff. I know it’s 7pm but honestly you’re a business and you should always make food hot… idk what it was but it was not how I remembered being serviced for over a decade. The lady that was at the front where we pay was nice, but she too seemed to be “over exaggerating “ her demeanor. Really tragic as we chose her because it’s the only buffet style we really trust… won’t be coming back. Looks good, but cold and taste is not there at all.

Good buffet but it was so busy not enough food was out quick enough, the waitress was super nice and thoughtful, she was always on top of things. Price wise it wasn’t worth it cause food were cold and some were overcook and hard/dry. Overall my family and I had a good time so I give it a 3 star.

Went to breakfast this morning at Golden Corral This morning . My experience was Worst buffet experience of my life! Want to check out the buffet the buffet and the only items left was was grits and standing in a long line to have an omelet made . Which I passed on ! Grabbed a piece of Fried chicken since it was the only meat available. Went backup 20 minutes later and still nothing had been replaced or made. At that time I requested my server to have a manager come over and visit with me. Waited another 10 minutes With no response! Went to check the buffet again and still no new food except for they did bring some cinnamon rolls out. By this time it Have been 40 minutes and decided to go to the front counter to speak to the cashier. Explain my issues with her since the manager wouldn't come over to To try to resolve this issue. Explain to the cashier that I just wanted to get a refund for my breakfast that I never ate and she informed me that had to be done by the manager. At this time she went back into the kitchen to visit with the manager and came back upset and apologized . Decided to leave and inform the cashier that I was gonna escalate this to the next level And the contact my credit card company to have the charges reversed she apologized and thank me for my patience and told me to have a nice day. This was the only positive thing that happened today aat Golden Corral.

This place was FILTHY. We should have known at the entrance to leave. They didn’t have CO2, so no carbonated beverages. Lemonade, water, tea. Kids were sad they could not have a root beer (special treat). No pop. On Memorial Weekend. It also felt like the air was not working. It was uncomfortably warm in there — I was sweating within minutes. Our waitress Jessy was the only good part of the trip, hence the single star for her. I felt like my family was going to get food poisoning. Salad bar was empty of fruit, side salads, half the toppings. The hot food was old and crusty, the rice could not be chewed. No steak knives, husband had to use pocket knife to cut his meat — and then it was inedible/fatty. The cook in back kept saying “these people need to stop eating, I’m running out of food.” We wanted to leave and get a refund, not possible apparently. $55 of nastiness. Do not waste your time.

I know they might be short staffed sometimes. The food area should always be wiped down. And empty food containers refilled with food promptly for customer’s. And the ice cream machine too. We don’t want a virus coming back from uncleanliness.

The evening/night shift are very disappointing! They had attitudes, didn't have silverware out, the food wasn't good, the salad bar barely had any food and the salad bar was dirty, I also seen a staff member behind the salad bar cutting fruit with no gloves on! Me and my family had to go to the front counter to ask for a refill on our drinks instead of them coming to our table to ask if we wanted refills! I will never go back there on evening times, only the mornings and afternoons, the food tastes better, the staff no how to do their jobs and its clean!

I enjoyed it, great staff great food. The atmosphere was also great, usually you go to a buffet and your rushed because they need the table.

Some of the food was not hot. I think they were doing there best. Being short staffed. The Manager should really be on the floor checking the food. The lady who helped was excellent! She apologized saying they were short staffed. If all the staffed worked like she did. It would be a better experience for everyone.

Every employee was kind and helpful. They were great people!! The food tasted fine. The thing is it was too hot in there, those employees were burning up. They need better cooling so they can do better (they were working hard with not many for staff to what looked like. Favorite dessert bread pudding favorite meat steak (he cooked it exactly way my husband loves it and I enjoyed it with our kids too.) Love the sweet potatoes dish too as a favorite. We talked to few them and asked how they were holding up the heat (all them looked worn out after good bunch of people then when we got there slower. Smiles and doing Thier best.) Price was under $12 for adult.

The oncoming staff was a lot more responsive to our needs than the off going server. We had a great last 15 minutes of service 😊 wish the variety of food was more american based instead of ethnic. Salad bar needs improvement.

Our experience at the Golden Coral was overall a good one. The food was not amazing, but it wasn't bland either. I highly recommend trying a tiny serving of everything. During this visit the pot roast and meatloaf ended up being my favorites! Our children, who don't have much experience with buffets were almost starstruck being able to pick their own foods. Our section's server was extremely nice and joked around with the kids making us parents happy. We will go again.

We came in tonight New years Eve we were disappointed with the food but Stephanie the manager for the night helped us she was great accommodating us and giving us gift cards to come back again. Ben though I was not very nice at first she handled it very professionally . Thank you again Stephanie we really appreciate you . You are an amazing woman. Great manager .

This was the worse experience I've ever had at GC. The host was not at the register and we had to track down a staff. The food was cold, poor quality, some of it was overcooked and dry. The staff was observed yelling from different stations back and forth at each other in Spanish. It was very unprofessional! I felt bad for the servers having to work in this environment. The bathrooms were poorly maintained, dirty and disgusting! It was obvious there was no upkeep today. The ice cream machine was broken. They should go back to being open on weekends or not at all! Waste of $57 for this family of 3!!!

I'm not a big buffet person, just not my thing. But my partner LOVES it and wish we would have at least one buffet in Lincoln. He would probably go every day.

  • 4/5 Ryan B. 6 months ago on Google
The food was what you'd expect from a Midwest buffet (that isn't a Chinese buffet). Decent selection but many things were out and never refilled during our visit. The staff, when talking directly to you, were very nice. When they were not, however, they were yelling at other employees in the dining area or openly complaining (loudly) about the business. Working in retail, I have some understanding, but it isn't what customers want to hear.

What can you say about a place that has it all. So much to choose from! I have a few suggestion for the guests that comes in to have their fill. Take your time! There is no rush! EAT SLOWLY! Sample it all! Most importantly enjoy yourself and the company you came in with! Oh ! DO NOT I'LL REPEAT DO NOT MISS THE DELICIOUS DESSERT BAR! One more thing don't be cheap leave a tip for the ones who work so hard to make it a pleasant day for you! Way to go GCB&G

Is the food amazing? No - but your coming to a buffet. You come for quantity and not quality. They have salad / vegetables / fruit/ and plenty of food choices. I have a monthly meeting with other administrators and we have a nice room to meet inside of. We have been coming for a few years and will continue to meet here.

This is very sexiest place! And way over priced! There were only women workers except the manager and it was very obvious he didn't let the women touch the money because he sat at the register taking the money the whole time. When something ran out he would let the line build up while he sat and yelled at the ladies in the kitchen to get to work! The food was stale and tasted like it was all from containers. The workers were sweet and caring but could tell not a great work place non smiled and kept their heads down! Definitely do not recommend.

I had low expectations, but the food was pretty meh. The steak was cooked great, and the rolls were nice, but lots of other stuff looked either watery or dried out. Our server kept walking by and complaining loudly about how nobody would tip her and this wasn’t her night, like at least 10 times. Finally she came up to us and asked if there was something wrong with her maybe?? Then she said Wait, don’t answer that! My wife replied, oh I didn’t know it’s customary to tip here, maybe they didn’t know either! And she ran into the back and let out a loud scream. We left her a tip and quickly made our escape. Hope she has a better night!

Don’t ever go there food was nasty we regretted every second we spent there. Food was all cold and a lot of it was a mystery. If there was a 0 star spot I would have pressed it. I would’ve even selected the negative star choice if there was one. The things they put the food in was basicly all grease and snot. The “blueberry pie” was like someone just picked them off a tree or the ground. Pizza was completely raw. Plates were dirty and couldn’t find a clean one. Noodles were very cold and the sauce was red water. I mean who knows they might just hire someone to go dumpster diving in the Taco Bell next door. I Would choose that Taco Bell 10 out of 10 times over this golden moldy corral place they call a restaurant. Bathroom door was sticky maybe they also go that from the dumpster next door from Taco Bell. The thing on the door that your supposed to use your foot to open it was about 3 feet off the ground.

This location is horrible! My husband and I arrived Sunday evening. We have always went to the Bellevue location but had been in the area and decided to check it out because we’ve never been to this one. As soon as we walked in, two employees were arguing a guy and a girl as The manager was taking the orders. We were definitely not greeted at all and the manager had to come and ask us what we wanted for drinks. We were handed cups and no tray so we grabbed our own. When we sat down the restaurant was nasty! There were dirty tables everywhere and stacks of dirty plates: it was 5:30pm so dinner time and the food trays were empty with old food in them, the dessert section was destroyed . People were asking the cooks when should we expect more food to come out… for $15 a person imma need them to have this food staying in rotation. We had no idea who our server was for the first 10 minutes. When we did meet her, we calmed down a little just because she was sharing that she was still cleaning up from the last servers shift. Lastly as we were eating another couple came by our section and stated how disgusting the restaurant was and immediately turned around left their drinks and requested a refund: Golden Corral has been around since I was a kid! It is not new of the expectations we all have when we come to this restaurant. This place needs a new manager, new employees that know professionalism, and some good cooks! I will not return to this location!

Haven't been to a buffet in awhile since 2019 which was this particular restaurant in Augusta, Ga. This one was clean and the atmosphere was ok. First Sunday of the year was not that busy after 2pm. They did a good job with our party

Sometimes the food is good, other times it tastes horrible. Some staff are very friendly and Courteous, others are rude and Lazy. Went there today 12/26/22 for Lunch, from the start my experience wasn't a good one. The fountain drinks, Line were frozen, so you're choice for drinks were limited to,bottled water, Ice tea, Milk,or Ice Water. When I made my selection for food, I got a slice of pizza 🍕 and some Pot roast and a Chicken thigh. The pizza was 🥶 cold and the Chicken tasted like Fish 🐟, the Pot roast tasted fairly good. I then made my dessert 🍨 selection, The ice cream actually had chunks of ice in it. The meal definitely wasn't worth the 11.80 I paid. The only good thing about my experience was that the staff was actually very friendly that particular day. The furnace wasn't working, it was cold, probably why the Fountain drinks lines were frozen over......

I enjoyed our time here. The waitress and manager we spoke to were amazing and so kind. Some of the food was a little undercooked but most of it was hot and fresh! Would definitely go back.

If you're looking for a buffet, Golden Corral is fine. It won't blow your mind, but it won't leave you extremely disappointed either. Usually a pretty solid option if you can't make up your mind on what exactly you want to eat. Although, I will say it's a much harder sell as pricing continues to creep up.

The waitress Princess was wonderful. The food was good. But come on. The breakfast signs were still up at 4 pm. And everyone I asked...what's this. Either didn't speak English or didn't know. And noone, besides the waitress ,even cared that the wrong signs/labels were up. I have food allergies and need to know what things are so I don't pick a wrong item. So. Tell the person on Saturday that was supposed to change those cards that it is very important to some people. Thank you.

There are plenty of things to choose from. But some of the items look suspicious. Like are they cooked all the way as far as the chicken wings go? How long have the salad vegetables been left out? Are they fresh? Or have they been sitting there for a couple of hours? The ice cream machine didn't work. Overall, a pretty average visit. On the plus side? I love the clam chowder. And service were helpful and friendly.

  • 3/5 Katkat M. 1 year ago on Google
We arrived about 11:30 a.m. They were very short staffed. The salad bar was all picked over, many empty bowls. There were no soup bowls available for soup. There were lots of hot food choices. There were still some breakfast items available, but the syrup bottle by these foods was empty. There were many different cakes to choose from, but only a small tray of cookies, peach cobbler & bread pudding. Of you decide to eat there, go when they first open. I am sure if they were fully staffed, it would have been a lot better. The staff that was there (refilling drinks, cleaning tables) was very friendly.
