Visited here because they are said to have the best Ruben sandwich in town and that it was invented right across the street. So obviously expectations were high and food was absolutely delicious. Had an awesome small town bar atmosphere and great service. Tried the Ruben, Nashville chicken sandwich, fries, nachos and the chicken tenders. Everything was excellent and did not disappoint. Add to the fact that there is a hugh amount if beer, both local and foreign on tap and you're in for quiet an experience. Definitely worth a visit if you love a good Ruben or some great beer.

Overall it was a great experience..food was good waitress was very attentive we never had to ask for refills..Crescent moon is a very clean establishment with booth bar and table seating and large menu with plenty to choose from portions are large here ..easy parking and plenty of t.v.'s to watch!! highly recommend the rueben sandwich..only reason I did not give 5 stars ...because I was charged $2.50 for black beans on my nachos but never received them ..communication is key and I believe they failed on that today ..we will definitely return

Home of the best reuben in Omaha. One of my favorite bar/restaurants in town. Great service, rotating craft beer on tap, and a really good kitchen. They have lots of cool events throughout the year- Oktoberfest, Polish Fest, Reuben Fest, beer school, Bock Fest, etc. Be sure to check their website for event dates.

Extremely unsafe. My family ate here tonight, we sat in a booth and my 4yr old and 2yr old colored while waiting for our food. We were there for quite awhile as the kitchen was pretty backed up. At one point my wife’s keys dropped between the booth and the wall. My 2 yr old had been sitting there for the hour we were in the restaurant. When my wife leaned over to try and get the keys, she bumped the electrical outlet that was hanging off the wall. A huge spark shot up and my wife is lucky she wasn’t electrocuted, and we’re lucky that during the hour we sat there my little girl didn’t kick or bump that outlet. We didn’t see it when we sat down because it’s dark and under the table. The manager was only concerned with making sure the TVs and neon signs were ok, and never at any point did he or anyone else from the restaurant come by and say sorry or apologize in any way. We didn’t want to make a scene so we called the restaurant later to express our concern, the manager again never apologized, but said “I new about it, I was just waiting for you guys to leave so I could fix it.” So he knew there was a safety hazard yet he let me and my family sit there for an hour without saying anything? And I don’t know many electricians who double as restaurant managers but it seems to me that a licensed electrician should be the one to fix the issue. I really like CM’s food, but I dislike the leadership style and overall concern for their patrons.

I saw a picture of a Rueben Sandwich in an "Visit Omaha" tourism magazine. Then someone suggested that I shoud go, order it and try it out because it's a must. Conclusion: successful choice. Delicious from the first to the last bite. Best onion rings in the World. Excellent selection of beers and dare I say at a good price. Perfect service at table. A hole in the wall. Very good!

Solid food for reasonable prices. Excellent draft beer list with various pour options (5oz,8oz,16oz) for fair prices. Good happy hours and daily specials...check the website.

Very cool old building in a historic part of town. Service was 6 stars, food was great and the building was very cool. There is parking in the back and they have a small package store attached. I highly recommend this place. Best brew pub I have been to in a while.

Love this place. My dad used to work on the building across the street and would go "to the moon" for lunch a ton. Now we stop there every time we are in Omaha. Not going to lie that is is pretty classic bar vibes, but the beer is cold and the food amazing! It is worth the visit. Tons of beer on tap and the service is very friendly. If you go, you MUST get the Reuben Sandwich. So good!

Unfortunately very underwhelming. I was expecting the best Reuben of my life but was quite disappointed. The garlic breaded cheese curds were decent and came in a decent serving size. My meal arrived very quickly after the appetizer so there wasn't much space to enjoy them. The server did not seem particularly interested in serving and attended to the table that arrived after me first. Nice bar/pub atmosphere at least!

Did you know you could try beers by the oz.? Well you can here. Once you find a favorite then get the 16oz. Best Ruben in town and those Fries. We shared the Sampler ap and everything was great on there too. My wife had the potato soup and it was pretty much loaded mashed potatoes. Yummy!

We came to visit from out of town today (1/7/23) for a funeral. Reading Google reviews we thought this place would have outstanding food. We placed an order of two Reuben and a porkloin sandwiches. All the orders came wrong from the kitchen and the server (an African American woman) tried to make it right and was really nice. We stayed a couple of hours to chat and then asked another server named DIANNE to get us a diet coke. She rolled her eyes and went to grab the other lady (who had already told us she had clocked out about an hour and a half ago). She seemed really upset about having to serve us and get us the coke so we decided to just leave. As we were walking out she didn't even acknowledge us. We said thank you, and she looked away and kept silent. I was walking with an elder disable family member and my husband and she remained incredibly dismissive. As a result we came right back to ask her name to make this review so someone addresses this situation with her. I can't imagine how would anyone would like to come back to be treated this badly especially with their family. We really hope this is not a discriminatory practice or bias, as she was white, and her peer server was not, neither am I. We will make sure to escalate this encounter to the Bussines Bureau if necessary. Food wasn't even that tasty either. The reuben sandwich was okay but not the best.

Gosh, I’ve lived abroad for 25 years but in a visit back home my wife declared she wanted a Reuben. My sister said the best in town and suggest Crescent Moon. It was absolutely fantastic, and what a classic place: from the Omaha/Creighton/beer nostalgia, to the really fine service, and of course the food, I’d move back to Omaha just to be closer to this place and cool districts like Blackstone. Visit, if you happen to come to this fine city!

I was excited to try the brunch today but it was a very poor experience. It took forever to even get a menu. Our server was very clearly overextended. Food and drinks took a very long time. All of our food was just okay and when we were almost done eating, we found pieces of plastic in the chicken fried steak. The server did apologize and take that off of our ticket but after the very slow/poor service and the plastic in the food, we won’t be back.

This was another first-time experience. And while I am sure the Crescent Moon is a cool hangout, on this particular day having Yacht Rock in the house with DJs Dark and Stormy was fantastic. Check out the video of them doing their thing...very funny! Service was great, as was the vibe, but I cannot help but think Yacht Rock was a huge plus. Kudos to Crescent Moon management for booking them!

We were shooting a wedding and the party bus made a stop here! excellent choice as the crew had a blast. Those boots full of beer are iconic in the city.

Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. The bar was full but still a couple tables open. Within minutes I had a seat, drink and my food ordered. Fun fact: the Reuben was invented in Omaha, and the Crescent Moon has the #1 ranked reuben in the city! Mine was delicious... It's definitely one of the best I've had. 👌

We were looking for a truly unique food and dining experience here in Omaha and we found Crescent Moon. What an incredibly enjoyable corner bar and restaurant that we spent time at. There was 4 of us in our party in Omaha for the weekend and we arrived during happy hour. Crescent Moon's claim is its Reuben sandwich, which both of the wife's choose. The winner for us were the sides to the sandwiches. Onion rings, sweet potato fries, garlic fries and green pepper rings. The sauces that accompanied these were equally amazing. My friend and I both ordered a flight each of different beers and the variety was terrific. Our waiter, Chris, was pleasant and enjoyable. Well worth the 27% tip. If we were to open a bar/restaurant this would be an ideal example to copy.

This is a great local pub hangout. The food is above-average for a bar and the beer selection is excellent.

The burger was good. I got the king one (think thats what it is called), I would recommend asking them put some PB on the bottom bun so it doesn't get soggy though. The waitress was really chill and the guy that gave me the menu was cool.

Have lived in Omaha for 10 plus years and had never been here before. Was expecting to have the best Reuben ever. It was just okay. Way too much relish. Bartender and atmosphere is a lot of fun. I'm sure we'll be back but probably not for the Reuben.

I love Reubens and even with the high expectations set by the awards, I still came away very impressed with the sandwich! May well be the best I've ever had. Service, ambiance, prices, and the beer list was all top notch. Incredible value all around, will definitely be stopping back in here anytime I find myself in Omaha.

Came for brunch on Sunday. I ordered a modified order and they were quick to accommodate. I ordered their breakfast tachos but with gravy instead of queso. The tots were perfectly crispy and it tasted amazing. I ordered both of their ciders and they were delicious. A great selection of drinks on tap. If I’m back in Omaha I will definitely stop by again

The rueben, need I say more! If you go, you have to try it. It is worth the trip. The food overall is great. The beer selection is great. Atmosphere is always good. The Crescent Moon is a staple of the Midtown/Blackstone areas. It was there before other places and will remain after others fold, due to its dedication to the craft of beer and food.

The food was ok, the server was ok, the atmosphere looked OK. The back half of the resteraunt had a strong distracting smell of bathroom cleaner. We arrived just before 12 noon and got our food at 1230. Our salads and main courses came at the same time. One of our group made sure to specify no bell peppers on his sandwhich because of allergies, but then his salad came out with diced peppers on it. He couldn't eat the salad and told the waiter so when he bussed the untouched salad. (He was still charged for it.) This was advertised as the best Reubens in town..not so much, it was good, had some nice flavoring to the dressing but somewhat plain overall and was a little lacking on the amount of meat. It seems that shrinkflation has affected a lot of the Reubens in town...there may have only been one waiter on Shift. I may give this place another chance in the future.

The staff was delightful. We had a very friendly waitress who either really liked working there or faked it well. She smiled the whole time we were there. The Ruben sandwiches arrived quickly and lived up to expectations. Their menu looks loaded with other options so we'll be back.

Is a great local bar. We were there last night for all the restaurants that were cray busy with tournaments and a BB game, they were accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Great beer list and delicious food. Just some honest people doing honest work in difficult times.

This is one of my favorite bars in Omaha. The best pub food around. Their Cuban sandwich is unrivaled for me, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Ruben and Nashville Hot Chicken are also tasty. They also have a big selection of local beers too try, and best yet are right next to Beer World if you love something enough to get a pack for home. Love the cozy booths and ambience as well.
