We ate here a few weeks ago. The twisted tator tots with pork belly lardon were phenomenal- great start to the meal! The bar is full stocked and able to make pretty much anything you can think of, I got a white gummy bear and it was perfect! The bacon, lettuce, bacon, tomato, bacon sandwich (yes that's really the name on the menu) was good. Hubby got the pitchfork ranch meatloaf n mac and he was more impressed with the Macaroni then the Meatloaf but... live and learn. We'll be back to explore more of the menu!

Love this place. The fried pickles are a must, be careful as they come out smoking hot everytime! Portions are generous and every dish is worth every bite! Outdoor seating is a treat, sit back and watch the vibrant little city bustle around you! Update.. Service was not good today. Slow, not engaging, server did not listen to our wants and needs. When I became agitated, she left and did not return instead sent someone else. The new server was great, glad she stepped up to make things right.

Small, cute restaurant, food was well seasoned. Orange saffron salmon was delicious, deviled eggs on toast was too salty for my taste, but the tomato jam was impeccable. The wait was a little long which is understandable during these times but my toddler started to get antsy. The price was fair, waitress was not that attentive. Would order to go if ever in the area again.

Super cool restaurant in a fantastic location. Location had laid back vibes and an awesome bar. Food was a little underwhelming. It was about a 35 minute wait for our food at about 4pm. Not super busy. The mushroom soup was incredible. Great texture and flavorful. We asked for the buffalo wings to be extra crispy, but came out with soft skin which was disappointing. The biggest let down was the buttermilk fried chicken salad. My chicken was cold to the touch and lacked seasoning. Overall a very cool spot, probably just an off day with the service and temperatures on the food.

This was my first time at this establishment. The atmosphere and decor was warm and inviting. Our waitress was fast and customer-centric. The wait time for food did suffer a little bit despite the simplicity of our menu items and the restaurant was mostly empty. In addition, the first dish came out room temperature. The issue was taken care of swiftly. The food was good and drinks were as well. I would revisit this location in the future but wouldn’t be my first go-to.

Great Bloody Mary's. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Really liked the Mushroom Scampi, but the Salmon dip was a bit too "fishy" for our tastes... We will be going back.

This place has some great workers and great look. However, the food was just okay. Ordered fried pickles and they tasted good but most had broken off or no coating. Got the meatloaf which tasted great but the Gouda Mac and cheese was bland and the gravy tasted like it was out of a can.

In seldom ever give an overall 5 stars, because even tho everything was excellent, there's always SOMETHING that irritates everyone. The place was very clean, the table freshly wiped down (here's that irritation, still wet/damp when you sit down and your napkin is the only thing available). The bathrooms are clean (ugh, irritation #2 gotta fight with the towel dispenser to get a towel and it's not secured to the wall properly). I did win that round. The waitress knew all about the menus and what was popular, helped us make our decisions and even brought out one of the menu items on two plates, because we were having a little off each other's plate. Bitchin' folks. It's a popular place, might get a little noisy depending on the people, but then if it's too quiet somebody's probably a bad day and don't want to poke the bear. Oh, do be careful when entering or exiting as there's a bit of a rise/drop at the entryway.

I've been wanting to try twisted fork downtown. My boyfriend decided to take me here for Valentines Day. We enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip, the truffle chicken, and the gouda mac and cheese (not pictured). The food was just alright. I was a little disappointed by the mac and cheese and the risotto. The cheese sauce was too thin for a pasta dish. Mac and cheese, you expect the dish to be thick and cheezy. The garlic risotto is VERY garlicky, a little too overpowering. I did really enjoy the artichoke dip. It's made from scratch, and I love that it's not a cream cheese base. The staff is so nice and welcoming. We really liked our waitress Michele. She was fantastic.

Husband and I stopped by this restaurant, and it did not disappoint in anyway. The service was great, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious! My grilled cheese sandwich had so much flavor with all the cheeses, tomatoes, and bacon that hit the spot. Our bacon, guacamole dip was heavenly with the huge chunks of bacon in it. I can’t wait to come back to try the meatloaf and mac & cheese because that was tempting as well. Or I might have to try the bacon and Swiss chicken sandwich because I think I was the only person in the restaurant that did not order it that day.

Happy Hour allowed us to sample so many delicious dishes. Such a unique environment with a modern, old west feel. Exceptional service and delicious food. You'll want to try the Poppers fur sure!

I didn't know pork was now considered safe @ 145 degrees! My pork chop was excellent (and still juicy) after I sent it back for a little more sear, but next time I'll eat it as the chef had intended. The service was great!

I had my birthday dinner here. Very nice inside. Bathroom was nice and clean. Food came out hot and fresh. Bread was kind of bland but Mac and cheese was good!! Could use a little more salt. Got a free birthday dessert so that was very thoughtful! Everything was clean and good!

Quirky menu items. My wife thought the risotto chicken pot pie was fine. The chicken fried steak was ok but the fries were just bad. Not a great sign when fries aren’t done correctly. Weird atmosphere too - no background music at all. Clearly we dined closed to closing as staff were cleaning down tables and moving carts of glasses around. I used to work in a hotel bar / restaurant, and we would never roll around those carts with guests still around. Cannot say I’ll be back in a rush nor recommend in a hurry.

The waitress was amazing. I love when they are great at talking thru the menu. When you have never been somewhere and they share what they recommend. We had the bruschetta and brussel sprouts for appetizers. Both were amazing and we would get them again. Then we ordered the orange saffron salmon and the bacon guda pork chop. The pork chop was over cooked and dry. I would not order that again. But all the salmon and everything else was amazing. We will be going back to try more items on the menu. It was hard to decide what to get. Look forward to trying it again.

Correction! This is a great space to get together with friends and the staff went above and beyond. Our waitress was amazing. I had a steak salad and meatloaf. I really enjoyed my salad. It was so much fun and the ambiance was great. I really felt like I was on vacation. Omaha was our last city of a 5400 mile trip. It was wonderful to eat amazing food in such warm, relaxing environment. Thanks to the staff for great food and amazing time!

The atmosphere and service were great! I was super excited about the food from reading the menu and seeing photos. Spinach artichoke dip was not what I was expecting. Almost more of a soup, it tasted good but didn't have many chunks of artichoke, and I'm not sure if there was spinach in it. It seemed like it was almost clam chowder minus clams or potatoes. I would order it again, It's just not what I was expecting. French dip was just okay. Auju and beef had almost no flavor and for the price, I would never order it again.

The Twisted Fork has been on my list when in Omaha. So we gave it a try Saturday evening. We were able to place reservations online. The atmosphere was inviting, with cute decor. We started with spinach dip and cup of soup. For our entrees chose the special, which was butter ribeye and bacon swiss chicken sandwich. The steak was ordered medium but came out rare. It was corrected swiftly but still underwhelming for price. The food was good but it wasn't anything to write home about.

There was a bit of a wait, and we didn't get a notification when a table was ready... however, the wait was worth it!! The server was attentive, friendly, and offered great suggestions. The owner came by our table and was friendly and even suggested we try another restaurant (not one he owned). We shared a started order of brussel sprouts... crispy, tender, tasty! I had a smokin' club grill with a side of sweet potato fries. The sandwich was good, but the sweet potato fries were the best ever!! Fresh cut, with just the right amount of seasoning, and crispy on the outside!

POST UPDATED BELOW Four adults arrived Saturday at 12:15 to a 3/4 full restaurant and immediately seated. Our server greeted us but obviously did not want to be there. His attitude was horrible and we were surprised when the glasses did not break the way he tossed them on the table. We placed our order and waited and waited and waited. After waiting for 50 minutes and seeing other tables seated after us but receiving their food, we finally got him to stop so we could ask about our order. He told us the kitchen was behind. Finally, after an hour our food came. Mediocre at best. Luke warm and flavorless is what comes to mind. The Old Market has a lot of great restaurants but Twisted Fork is not one of them. UPDATE Received a call from Gabe (manager) who wanted to know everything that was wrong with our visit. This is what great customer service is all about. Thank you Gabe. Discovered the restaurant was short staffed on a busy Saturday in the Old Market. The phone call does not fix the issues we encountered but because of the call, we will return to Twisted Fork. Our entire check was refunded even though it was not necessary. I am sorry I did not reach out to management while at the restaurant. That would have been the proper response from myself. Once again, thank you for reaching out, listening and doing everything in your power to make a difference.

Great food, great prices, will certainly be back! Brussels on app menu were yummy and not too greasy like they often are at places. Salmon meal and salmon cessation salad were both great! Tequila mule was awesome. Good variety on the menu!

I dined at Twisted Fork in downtown Omaha for dinner, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. I ordered the salad with salmon, but the salmon was overcooked to the point of being burnt (and not in a good way). On the positive side, the service was good.

A great place to meet up with old friends! The food was wonderful and the service was exemplary. I asked for a different cheese on my sandwich, and when they realized it was wrong, they were out with a new sandwich in minutes. I absolutely love this place! 🧡

First time dining at Twisted Fork. The meatloaf was good, but not the greatest I've had. It could have had some more spice. The Mac and cheese was good. It tasted like home made. We ordered a couple of desserts to go, and when we got home to eat them, we were very disappointed. The Molten Lava Chocolate Cake was a joke. Not only for what it costs, but as a dessert at a decent restaurant. I would have expected what we got from a fast food place, not Twisted Fork. The Crème Brulee tasted great and was very smooth, but there was very little of it. We'll go back to Twisted Fork, but we'll be sure to avoid the desserts. Just a little note: If you're trying to create a nice atmosphere, maybe put candles on the candle holders and put batteries in the lights on the table. 😉

Been here many times. Food is always good. Drinks are always great! Can’t beat their Manhattan! Had many entrees here over the years. Had the meatloaf this time. It was a warm, wholesome and filling meal! Mashed potatoes were delicious and buttery. Sautéed veggies were cooked well with a slight crunch to them. Mac m cheese was fabulous addition to the dish! Got the creme brûlée dessert, it was divine. Highly recommend. Can’t go wrong with this dessert! Crisp sugar top, creamy brûlée, sweet strawberries! So good! Great place for a good meal & date night! Nice place where you can hear the person next to you. Will visit again and again!
