I am not sure if there was a change in ownership or what, but both the food and the service have been demenished by a lot. In my last 2 visits there, the experience was very bad. I will talk about the last because it was one outside the peak times, it was on a Thursday @ 10:45 am there was not a waiting line, we sat right away, and ordered, however, it took an hour until our order came out, it was cold and not as tasty as used to be, We were not the only ones that experienced such bad service, during the time we were there waitinging we saw few other tables waiting as much as we did. The server was unapologetic. Finally, the inside temperature was cold, I got coffee twice, and it got cold very quickly. I will think twice to come back for a breakfast there. Sad

Nestled away from the downtown crazy, is this quaint locally owned eatery. Immediately, walking in, I was greeted and taken to a table. Granted, it was a weekday, mis morning and full, (so, I can only imagine how it is on weekends). I ordered the simple pancakes with bacon and eggs. The eggs were moist and very good, and the bacon, perfectly crispy. Although, to me, the pancakes were a bit dry, the edges were perfectly crisp like my mom used to make them. My server (sorry, I forgot her name), was very sweet and never let my cup of coffee run empty. Great service and great prices.

No-frills, feel-good, wholesome food! Always had to wait in line when visiting over the weekend, but this time, I went on a Thursday over the lunch hour and got seated immediately. Also love the neighborhood and the shops surrounding the cafe. 🍳

Good home cooked feel. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is amazing. If you haven't tried it I recommend you do. It's of Omaha's hidden gems.

Lisa's is excellent. I have never had to wait to be seated. Staff is so kind and attentive. The stuffed french toast is beyond excellent. **Just make sure to confirm what type of fruit they will be using to make it. Once, they listed blueberry on their specials-board for the morning. However, I was served banana without any notice. This could be an issue for those with food allergies.** (I wouldn't recommend ordering from them through GrubHub. The portions they give are at least half as less as what you would receive in-house. This happened several times for me, so I assume it's going to be consistent service for others. Definitely not worth it.)

This is a real good place for brunch. A little wait but everyone was really nice, the food is really good. My husband got the radial raft, I had a skillet and we split a stuffed French toast. The gravy was very tasty and not too salty, skillet was really good and the stuffed French toast was amazing (first time trying stuffed French toast). Generous portions size, service was great, everyone was really nice.

The wait in line was worth it! We had the Corned Beef Hash, Eggs Benedict, and the Titanic. All 3 were great!

Classic diner food with several fun options and specials for both breakfast and lunch. The stuffed french toast and cinnamon roll pancakes are definitely some favs. Everything on the menu is good. The price point is right on. The atmosphere is fun, cozy,l and perfect for the whole family including small children. Cash only with an ATM inside.

We went here for brunch and it was delicious! I had fried turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. SO GOOD! Everyone else at the table had breakfast items, and they all looked and tasted delicious. The place was packed, yet our food was out in less than 10 minutes. Great service, prices, and atmosphere. We will definitely be going back, when we're in town again. Highly recommend this place!

Would give 5/5 for staff alone. They were so genuinely friendly and engaging to all the customers and it was pretty packed! Food was a step above “diner delicious”. Portions are generous and extremely well priced. Stuffed French toast was the winner of the day from our order. Decor is perfect.

This is your typical diner. Good corned beef hash and coffee. However, I marked this down because of the extraordinary amount of time it took to get our food: 1h 4m. There were several other customers with families asking “How much longer?” Tip: While I know several restaurants are dealing with staffing shortages, if you let your customers know in advance, they may cut you some slack. Next time, please say something.

A perfectly average breakfast place. I don’t recommend Lisa’s if you prefer quicker service, nothing overall unpleasant about the spot just a much more laid back vibe to the place. Good if you’re okay with longer wait times.

Totally worth the price. The quality of the food was amazing. Great service. Knocked it down a star because the bathrooms need updating. Other then that would definitely recommend the place !

While on holiday in the area to visit family, we went here 3 times! The staff were friendly and very inviting. They remembered us the 2nd time in! It was funny. The portion size was good, and the price was good. We felt like locals .

While the place is almost 100 years old and it could absolutely do with a renovation/ makeover, the staff while incredibly busy in a chaotic frenzy were the most professional and friendly food service staff I’ve encountered. Yes the overall look of the place is cramped, rusty, and old; one could call it quaintly nostalgic. We asked the staff about what the best thing to order was and we were NOT disappointed. The cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious. I’ve been told they have the best chicken fried steak. I’ll have to try that another time. Expect good portions and reasonable pricing, about $10/plate. Someone needs to step in and renovate this lovely little diner.

I have been going to Lisa's for it seems like 20 years. Up until the last several months, it was always a great place and I very much enjoyed going there. But recently, the service has been ridicously awful. I believe in supporting local business so i always think of Lisa's when i go out for breakfast. But no more! Service must improve! This review is concerning my last two visits. On my last visit there, the restaurant was about a fourth full with many open seats. I was seated for more than 5 minutes and no server was to be seen. I assumed that they were low on help so I moved to the counter in hopes of being served quicker. Still no server for over 5 minutes even though there were two servers behind the counter talking to each other. I felt invisible as if they didn't see me or just ignored me. I thought about trying to get their attention, but decided against it and reluctantly I left. The time before that, I waited for almost an hour after ordering food. I don't typically write bad reviews, but I'm doing this hoping that it is seen by the owner so it may be corrected. Excellent customer service is a must for business success and its currently at Lisa's.

So here’s the deal, we ate here before I had to go to the ER for some excruciating pain in my neck… the food was so good it was worth finishing our meal first before heading in. Hands down the best breakfast in town. place is just my style, a mix of worn down and colorful. Staff was amazing and friendly and the food was flavorful and came through quick. Will be returning when I work the kinks out of my spine

Lisa’s Radial Cafe is far and away the best breakfast spot in Omaha. Located not far from downtown, it is an easy drive down Dodge or the I-80 from anywhere in the city. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you’ll immediately get taken aback by their small-town diner feeling. This becomes even more so when you’re poured coffee into old, classic, ceramic coffee mugs. Everything on their menu is reasonably priced, and cheaper than anything you will find anywhere in the Blackstone district. The only thing better than the affordable prices, however, are the portion sizes. A ten-dollar meal has left me needing a to-go box on more than one occasion. The service is always warm and friendly from the moment you sit down. Everything is made to order, which does take more time than usual, but it is worth every second. My go-to meal is the Titanic, which is chicken fried steak with eggs and biscuits served with a heaping portion of their housemade sausage gravy. I have yet to have a bad experience with Lisa’s, and am always up for a weekend brunch trip with friends and family. 5/5 stars.

From the super friendly & very helpful kind young man at the door checking us in, to the wait staff. This was a fun and amazing experience.

First time eating here and will be back. Not only was the food delicious, but the prices are so affordable. Our server made excellent suggestions and was very knowledgeable, not only about the food, but also the history of the restaurant, the building and the real Lisa. Since it was our first time, he also wanted us to experience the stuffed French toast and provided a complimentary side for our table. Job well done, Lisa’s Radial Cafe!

Lisa's Radical Cafe is a breakfast gem in Nebraska! The country fried steak is super fresh and delicious. I love creating my own omelette with all the choices. And their coffee? The best in the state! What makes it even better is the friendly gentleman server who always remembers us, making us feel right at home. Don't miss out on this amazing breakfast spot!

I have been to this place twice so far. The first time was early morning, the service was quick and polite and food was good. The second time I came in I came for lunch. I sat at the bar and placed the same order I had enjoyed the first time, chicken fried steak and a coffee and water. They were a little busy, so even tho the coffee and water were directly behind the bar, I didn't expect them immediately. However, after waiting five minutes, another person sat down beside me and was immediately given his beverages. I was ignored. Apparently unless you know the waitresses your order is not priority.

The good. The staff was friendly, prompt, and the food was great. We ordered the Titanic and a country fried steak skillet. They used fresh ingredients and the portions were plentiful. The bad- the infection control issues were mind blowing l. Staff leaning glasses against his face and filthy clothes that were supposed to be clean glasses, carrying dirty dishes and fingers in glasses to bin to grab money for a payment only to turnaround and bring out food to a table without ever washing hands. Cooks wiping nose with finger and wiping hands on rag hanging from side. Frontline staff with dirty rags hanging. If you have a cast iron gut, great! How they pass inspection is beyond me.

Wow this adorable cafe went above and beyond for my husband and I! The day after our wedding we had a super early flight and they were willing to make the breakfast for us extra early. AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!Get the stuffed french toast :D

Alert worldwide 🌐 customer i give this company 12 stars for customer service satisfaction, food and clean restaurant Came in yesterday with my wife and sister. They didn't know who I was which that was a huge plus. As a master chef for 30 yrs and go out to write blogs and reviews where to start with this company. My mother and father and uncle are worldwide know chefs Elliotts Well when we first walked in the lady was fast and quick to help my wife you see my wife is half blind/ deaf they played music to comfort the energy and it was all positive energy every employee was smiling and happy and no matter what always triple checking on the customers. I was maken phone calls and the two waitresses came different time and asked my sister an wife if I was ready they showed out most respect and honor 🎖. Going on the cooking the meals was mind blowing im a very very very very picky master chef and I got to say they blew my mind and socks off. The homemade pot roast meal was out standing you could taste all the flavors and seasons but the chunks of meat is what won it all the hidden mash potatoes was a awsome touch. My second plate was the bacon cheese burger but I did a switch on them I took off all the garnish and bun then I had it triple patty with cheese and bacon only it was made with love and patience they French frys was made perfect and fresh. They didn't double dip and they didn't give over holded dry and dead frys The bathrooms was outrageously clean lots of sanitizers, towels, toilet paper and very awsome on the great smell in the bathrooms. What blew my heart, mind and soul the most was the chef cook came to me personally and asked me how was the taste, texture, what it made to my liking very rare a chef would come out but he did. This young man I will start to follow his career Please come one come all bring this company and the employees with great honor and buy from hear

Friendly service and absolutely fantastic food! I had the chicken fried steak skillet and was not disappointed! Start with hashbrowns topped with swiss cheese. Add perfectly sauteed green peppers, onions, mushrooms & tomatoes. Top that with a perfectly seasoned & cooked chicken fried steak, country gravy and 2 eggs, cooked exactly as you ordered, then add your choice of toast (white, wheat, sourdough or cinnamon raisin). It was a mouthwatering and stomach pleasing experience!

It is twice now that this place has cancelled my GrubHub order with the only explanation being “we are unable to fulfill this order”. If you can’t fulfill GrubHub orders just remove yourself from GrubHub. It is highly disappointing to wait 30 minutes just for it to be cancelled afterwards.

Another good experience worth documenting! We received service soon after arriving— the choice in seating made for a good conversation topic and I could tell this place was frequented by many. My friend and I ordered the stuffed french toast and the #7 (biscuits and gravy with my beloved source of protein), splitting the dishes so that I could try both. First off biscuits and gravy were good and I hadn’t had that in years which made it all the better. STUFFED FRENCH TOAST was delicious and it might have been my favorite of the two with the cream cheese + peaches filling!! Portions were very hearty and could almost feed a family of four 😊 The place all in all was surprisingly nostalgic and I might have to come again (also the lady with the blue eyelashes was very sweet— highlight of my morning)
