The
Old
Mattress
Factory
is
a
bar
and
restaurant
located
in
Omaha,
Nebraska.
The
restaurant
is
housed
in
a
historic
building
that
was
originally
built
in
1882.
The
building
has
been
renovated
to
reflect
its
historic
roots,
while
still
offering
a
modern
atmosphere.
The
service
at
the
Old
Mattress
Factory
is
friendly
and
attentive.
The
staff
is
always
happy
to
answer
questions
about
the
menu
or
the
beers
on
tap.
The
atmosphere
at
the
Old
Mattress
Factory
is
casual
and
relaxed.
The
restaurant
is
a
great
place
to
go
for
a
drink
or
a
meal
with
friends
or
family.
I
recently
visited
the
Old
Mattress
Factory
with
my
son
before
a
Creighton
basketball
game.
We
ordered
the
smoked
French
Dip
sandwich
and
the
Mac
n
cheese.
The
smoked
French
Dip
sandwich
is
made
with
tender
smoked
beef
and
pepper
jack
cheese
on
a
toasted
hoagie
roll.
It
is
served
with
Au
jus
for
dipping.
I
asked
for
it
the
Dan
Martin
way,
which
comes
with
caramelized
onions.
The
sandwich
was
delicious,
the
beef
was
tender
and
flavorful,
and
the
cheese
was
gooey
and
melted.
The
Au
jus
was
rich
and
flavorful,
and
the
caramelized
onions
added
a
nice
sweetness
to
the
sandwich.
The
Mac
n
cheese
is
baked
with
a
panko
bread
crumb
buttery
crust.
It
is
creamy
and
cheesy,
and
the
bread
crumb
topping
adds
a
nice
crunch.
My
son
loved
the
Mac
n
cheese.
He
ate
it
all
up
and
now
this
is
his
favorite
Mac
in
the
city.
Overall,
we
had
a
great
experience
at
the
Old
Mattress
Factory.
The
food
was
delicious,
the
service
was
friendly,
and
the
atmosphere
was
perfect
for
a
casual
meal
before
the
game.
