One of my Omaha favorites, cannot believe I never left a review before but better late than never. Only a few pics as we just got done with a 20 hour drive and weren’t too hungry. But if you are near DJ’s stop and get some beer and food, the nachos are amazing and wings have some good heat. You are welcome.

Last night we had just left our cousins funeral and decided to go have a bite to eat and a drink… We went to DJs dugout and were basically scolded by the waitress or assistant manager. She was a female with long hair and heavyset. We were made to feel like we were in elementary school. There were 12 of us… All adults and we wanted two tables of six. We were told we needed to go to the back room because we had such a big group but there was no one in the bar area for the most part. We said we would like to stay in the bar and she proceeded to tell us that we were not allowed to get up or walk around or loiter near the bar. We asked the question… We are in a bar aren’t we? She said you can sit here but you cannot move from table to table you need to sit here the whole time. Needless to say we left because we were made to feel very inferior! They lost roughly $400 of business from very good patrons! We went a block away to the pizza shop and had a wonderful time! BTW….I never write reviews but felt I needed to this time!

Great place to sit with family. Oh did I mention how amazing the mushroom burger was? The employees are great and fast

We stopped in to pre-game for the TOAST Nebraska Wine Festival (we were also celebrating a 50th birthday). So we shared appetizers- superbowl nachos with everything, mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, chicken strips with french fries. We also drank shots (apple pie double shots) and purple pucker drinks! We were rocking a solid buzz and not as quiet as we should of been but our waitress was super sweet and patient with us. Another guest at the restaurant ended up picking up our tab because he said we were "having too much fun"! All in all- a wonderful place with delicious food and fantastic drinks! 😋

Nice environment. Good food. But we came on a busy Friday night and were definitely pressured to leave to make room for other people. First, our waitress came up to us shortly after we finished eating and stood there waiting for us to give her our credit card so that we would pay and get going. Then my wife went to use the restroom and while I was waiting for her the host told me that he might have to seat people in the booth with us because they needed to get other people seated. After spending $50 on a meal, it would be nice to not be pushed out the door.

Excellent Location. Our server was top shelf and delightful. The Boneless Wing Sauces are tasty. This staff was great to work with being we had a large group and multiple checks.

Worst sever I’ve ever had in my life. Food was decent but our waitress seemed to hate life and everyone in our party was treated like a giant inconvenience. Asking for a drink refill after having an empty glass was responded to with utter disgust. After asking for bill after waiting for 45 minutes after finishing eating were also treated like an inconvenience. When paying we were even given shady laughs and rude looks. I was server for many years and I have never had anything like this in my life. DJs should probably fire or at least warm this woman. They’ve lost our whole families business and many others. Other tables around us received the same service.

Good portions for your money ..lots of deals everyday!!! Our table and booth were dirty or I would have gave 5 stars ...food tasted good ..I do think some attention needs given to the sales as there were huge chucks of lettuce that needed cut up still but overall a great experience..we will definitely be back

Morgan the bartender is great! Everytime we’re in there, she takes great care of all her customers! The food is decent bar food, with more than enough to share!

I’ve visited many times when coming into town for business. Truly it’s the food that brings me back. That reason showed again based on the lack of service there was at the bar. Two bartenders were working. One was behind the bar most of the time and the other was more interested in putting glasses away instead of asking if I wanted anything to drink. She walked past me multiple times without a look at me. Finally the guy came from behind the bar and asked if I needed anything. Provided me with a food menu as well and then disappeared once again for over five minutes. She just continued to stock beer and pour other people drinks. I had to ask if she could place a food order for me. She said yes and simply stood there with zero emotion and said, “go ahead….” I sat with an empty glass for 10 minutes before she asked if I would like another beer. I declined and was never asked if I would like anything else to drink. I then paid cash for the beer. When my food came out, I asked for a water which I received without a smile. Never once was I asked how the food was. I received my bill. The beer was still on the receipt and I had to explain that I had already paid for that drink. I’ve never seen such an unoccupied bar staff as I did tonight when there are people sitting at the bar. Nor have I seen someone checking their phone so much with their back to the bar as much as I did tonight. Come to DJ’s for the food. Don’t come for the bad attitude behind the bar.

I got nachos and it was plenty I ended up with a to go box and they were also delicious. Service was a little slow but honestly I don't recall if she was the only waitress or not. I also really loved the music and well the atmosphere.

It was a typical sports bar setting, lots of BIG screen TV's with multiple sporting games. Service was punctual. I was a little disappointed on the proportion size of the appetizer for the price (We got the cheddar jack fries $11.99, barely enough for 4 ppl) The sandwiches were great! Will come back.

Most of the food was great after multiple visits but they clearly way over seared (aka burned) this “medium rare” steak and decided to give it to me rather than remake it. Literally tasted like charcoal. Avoid the steak

I think resturaunts really raise the Bar when they have specials thoeughout the week and take the time to make the food. One of the better simpler salads I have had, and the Steak was on point.

First reaction, the place smelled like a barn. When we were sitting for 5 minutes and still no one acknowledging us. A lovely security man inquired for us if they were still serving. The waitress replied ‘(loud enough for us to hear her across the room’ ) they’ll just have to hold their horses, I’m busy now. Granted the place was fairly busy, was there just one waitress for the whole dining area? Overworked and stressed out waitress and or poor management. Either way, we walked out and shan’t be returning again.

Had lunch here the other day…I ordered the western BBQ burger and thought it was pretty tasty- I would order it again. We also had traditional buffalo wings ..however they seemed to be overdone.. they were pretty dry- would not order again.

The atmosphere is what one would expect for a sports bar. They have lots of TVs and some very large ones. The food is mediocre. The staff were friendly and helpful

Service was good and atmosphere and setting were great.. Food was subpar. Ordered a taco salad and was super cold and it was just not a good idea. Will try other items next time if we return.

For the most part, the food is mediocre. Appetizers and burgers are what I consider the best things on the menu. Drink selection is great and reasonably priced. Plenty of tvs, and the atmosphere is fantastic when there is an event! Lots of seating as well. Service is hit or miss depending on how busy it is but overall I would recommend DJs for a place to get a drink and a snack while watching the game.

This is my second visit. The first time was just...ok. So I thought I'd try again, in case I caught them on a bad day the first time. Nope...I didn't. The bartender wants to chat with the waitresses more than he wants to talk to customers. I ordered to go...a burger and fries. I did get silverware but no condiments. The burger is obviously frozen. I had a feeling it would be, because either asked for medium rare and was told everything is done medium well. It's not the worst place I've ever been, but almost every place on this street is better.

Great place to have a drink and some good food. Service was on it.

Salad was just iceberg lettuce and prime rib sandwich was small and had to pay extra for onions, peppers and mushrooms. Grilled chicken sandwich was tasteless and tough. Kids Mac and cheese tasted like out of Kraft box. Service was poor and looked like she did like job. Voiced our concerns about it and she was combative.. talking to other wait staff about us...

A few weeks ago DJs Dugout put out a spread at Asksarben Cinema to honor Vietnam Vets at a showing of "The Greatest Beer Run Ever". They hosted a party after the movie. The owners are spectacular people! Great times, great hosts, and great venue!

I got the buffalo wrap which was tasty and slightly underfilled and an upgraded (+$1.50) side of "fresh" vegetables which looked not so fresh. The service and atmosphere was great.

Bar itself is nice service was terrible was constantly waiting for our server whom we found stating at a TV more often than helping a customer. My "medium" steak was past well done. Pretty sure there was mold in my cheese

The food was better than I expected. I had the chicken avocado wrap and was pleasantly surprised on how tasty it was. The people I was with also seemed to enjoy their food too. The wings were the only thing that were just ok. The space was huge, with screens everywhere. One might say, too many screens. The chairs were pretty gross-looking too. The service was adequate, though we did have to ask twice for our drinks. Overall, I'd go back.

5/26/21 Went to celebrate a graduate. I thought the pretzel bites were amazingly great! Nice and clean place/sports bar. The rectangle tables are very close together to other guests, giving people a little room to no room to squeeze through--skinny person or not. Other than that, the place is pretty spacious and big inside. Another reason to have the tables spreaded further apart or less tables, in my opinion. Lots of huge flat screens and great chicken wings.

Salad was alright, nothing special. Cheese curds were not fried long enough and covered in way too much grease when served. Ended up with about 2 tablespoons of grease at the bottom of my plate. New york steak was well below average as far as taste. Definitely wouldn't recommend the steak at all. Flavorless and cooked unevenly. Atmosphere has more of a mom and pop dive bar feel. Most of the waitresses seemed frustrated with the bartender and manager. Manager and bartender seemed uninterested in actually doing their job and more interested in giving bar tabs stupid names.

Currently eating on a company outing and Rachel was very diligent and made sure each of our 17 member crew had everything they needed. The food was amazing and the drinks couldn’t have been better. Overall this place gets full marks on all fronts, especially the service of the staff and Rachel in specific!

I had high hopes for this place, but we couldn't even be seated. We walked in, and there was no host stand. We walked around and looked for a waiter/bartender, and nobody was around. The place was not even busy, and we could not find anybody to seat us. We just stood there for about 10 minutes before we decided to leave. Good job at delivering poor service without even trying, literally!

Came on Thursday night 12/1. Creighton game was on so we get it that you're busy. No sign saying seat yourself or wait to be seated. Stood for a while with no greeting so we looked for a table. Only available table was dirty so we cleaned it up and set dishes aside. Waitress came over, never said hello, and was clearly annoyed. She never came back but clearly knew were there. After about 20 minutes we left, went to another restaurant in Aksarben, and left generous tip there for good service. Won't be back to DJ's.

Had a great time at this sports bar! Food was great and I really enjoyed my server, but another server or manager?(I think I head her name was Mary?? Or Megan?) kept running around making our experience really weird, rather it be yelling at other servers in front of us or hovering over our table, it was very uncomfortable. I give it three stars for everything else involved. The nachos were to die for, a fantastic drink and our real server did a great job. All in all, I would come back for the wonderful TVs, grand service, but not for their overbearing management.
