I asked for a medium burger and it was well done and burnt like a meatloaf. I ordered the Mac and cheese burger and expected the overflow one we see in the pics here, instead it was a nuked but we with a scoop of semi warm Mac and cheese. There was only three tables. The bartender did a good job chatting people up, grabbing my beer, and taking care of myself and my son. Somehow the chef in back was incredibly slow still, wich may have been my nuked burger. The fries were good, the beer was cold, and it tasted like the lines were clean. I’ll go back to see if it was just the morning kitchen being lazy, but next time I’ll not be getting the burger, wich is a shake since they are supposed to be known for it.

The food and presentation were good. I like the decor as well. Not too big of a place but comfortable seats/tables and plenty of TVs for sports. The Bacon Bleu Burger was yummy as were the fries. Also has the TBL wings. I'll be back!

Low key vibe, with a sociable-not chatty bartender. Sports televisions with no sound. Very laid back crowd. Amazong chicken wings, great flavor and enough meat on to fill up in a satisfying way.

If everyone’s welcome, there’s no way to know it. We walked in at 8:30, and rather than greet us and let us know the kitchen was closing in 30, the bartender stared at us like we were insane. Gave no indication that we were supposed to seat ourselves and waited until we were sat before coming over and telling us the kitchen was about to close. Extremely rude.

Snugged into the corner of 10th & Mason this place hits on all cylinders. The patio is just below street level so it’s private and quieter I than expected. We’ve been twice and found the service friendly and prompt. Reasonable section of beers on tap and good drinks as well. The food is gastro pub and well executed.

Their bartender fainted? So they pulled someone off the street to bartend and forget to ring in orders. Closing and losing 5 tabs would be better than having 10 tables walk out for not being acknowledged. Sad

Worst hamburger I ever had. Extremely dry and way over salted. Rude staff. Waiter forgot to put in our order. Get this, they were out of ketchup. 😂😂. You can’t make this stuff up. Avoid this place at all costs!

I’m from out of town and this place has good reviews so we went there. I got the yardbird chicken sandwich. It was overcooked and under seasoned. It had no flavor. My wife had the grilled cheese, it was also bland. The fries were good, the onion rings are labeled as “beer battered,” which implies a certain level of freshness but there were frozen from a bag. We brought our two year old son, but they didn’t have high chairs (not really their “fault” just felt worth saying in a review). They also do not serve milk? I’ve never had a restaurant not have milk in my life. Ultimately the food is pretty bad but the people who work there are very friendly and helpful.

My wife, daughter, son and 1 yr old grandson decided to grab a bite to eat after visiting the Durham Museum. This was on Dec. 9 at around 2:30 PM or so. We walked into the place and there was no one there except the server/bartender (looked to be maybe late 30s/early 40s male). The first thing he said to us was "we don't have any high chairs or booster seats". That should have been our clue to turn around and leave. We didn't. The service was sub-par at best. The server gave off the impression that he was being inconvenienced. We ordered some drinks, appetizers and entree items. The food was generally pretty good although my Swiss Mushroom burger was pretty bland and dry. The fries weren't great unless you like them underdone and limp. The server never checked in with us on whether we were enjoying the food, never asked if we wanted another drink or a re-fill. When he wasn't bringing our food/drinks he was on his phone...several times with his back to us. We had to get his attention several times for some additional items. Lastly, the place was completely devoid of any Christmas/holiday decor or music. The music was mostly metal. This ranks at the top of my worst dining experiences...anywhere...let alone Omaha.

My uncle had been there before as said we would like it. It was amazing. Great environment to enjoy a meal and drinks. Not so loud so you can have good conversations. Service was fantastic. Price was not allot either. I would recommend this place.

The Burlington League has a good vibe, a nice layout. I think the location is great especially being just outside of the old market. Parking was easy and free. The food was good. We had their pretzel bites, fish tacos and the devil dog, all were tasty. Their drinks were also up to snuff. The waitress was fun and friendly. The owner came by and was very personable, friendly and welcoming. The only downfall I noticed was when I went to wash my hands, I noticed the toilet paper roll was on the wrong way. We will be back to The Burlington League. I would recommend if you haven't been there yet, go there.

Wow, I have never felt more ignored as a guest as I just experienced. Visiting Omaha and did a google search for burgers nearby. This place came up and the Mac n cheese burger looked great. I arrived 20 min before the kitchen shut down, I asked if they were still serving food. The bartender said for 20 more min. I already knew what I wanted because I read the menu in advance of arriving. The cook begrudgingly was willing to make the burger. The bartender Justin seemed more enthralled in the ball gag conversation with the ladies at the end of the bar to engage in basic service standards, like asking if the food was ok, or a simple thank you for coming in when he dropped the check. Instead, silence. This is my first ever 1star review, and after that experience, it is warranted. I can’t recall the last time I left a 10% tip, and honestly it should have been zero, but as a former server and bartender, I could not leave zero.

The Burlington League is a great space in design and function. It has a great vibe that you feel this is your local pub. A large selection of great beers with a very well stocked bar. They can mix up anything that rivals craft cocktail places. The service is friendly and personable. The food is just as great. Some wonderful burgers and he got dogs are smashing! More of a sausage rather than a hot dog. This is a must stop in and will soon be your repeat local bar!

Nice relaxing place to get a bite and some drinks, had their chili dog and a White Russian. Chili dog made well, but I think their burgers would be even better. Had the women’s NCAA game on and watched with a good crowd.

I can't say enough good things about The Burlington League. I try a new restaurant in Omaha once a month (thegoodbite.blog) - and have for the last 4 years. This place is definitely in my top 3. I recommend any of the burgers, the fish sandwich, the onion rings and pretzel bites. But honestly, ALL of their menu items look great! Location is nice because it's just on the edge of busy downtown - so finding parking and a table on a Saturday night was no problem. Service is great. Our waiter was also the bartender and he took care of everyone in a friendly and timely manner. We were impressed! Looking forward to many returns!
