Beautiful wildlife at a peaceful park in the heart of Omaha. This park is family friendly visit during the day or evening too see their incredible fountains in action! Preferably the evening if you’d like a light show along with it. Also try the gondola rides around the lake. Good spot in Omaha.

Beautiful new addition to Omaha, and Thank you for all the hard work time and effort for providing such a unique area bringing downtown Omaha to life. Too many reasons why I would recommend not losing out on visiting. Recommended to all ages and gatherings.

It’s Beautiful here. Visited while on vacation. We loved everything about. They did an excellent job rebuilding this area. It’s very relaxing with sitting areas, trails and the waterfall that changes color. It’s breathtaking. Loved the bridge too.

This is one of the most beautiful parks with so much potential. They have everything you could want. There is plenty of seating available all around. Fun slides, swings, and yes, even hammocks to lounge in. I'm so glad I got a chance to see it both frozen and snow-covered, as well as thawed. I have enjoyed walking with my dogs through this beautiful park. Though my stay in Omaha may not be for much longer, I look forward to spending more time here.

Nice for an evening stroll around the lake. Good photo ops as well. Parking could be a challenge, be prepared to pay. Would also be a lovely place to picnic. Lots of seating options or blanket in the grass.

A beautiful spot in the heart in down town Omaha, at any time of day. From fountains, to monuments and everything in between it has something for everyone. The kiddos love the local wildlife, from owners walking dogs to geese. I love the historic monuments. We all enjoy the view! Especially at night when the fountains begin to change colors. That's a big hit no matter who you are, or what your age. It's a great place to just visit and take in the sights, or to get up and move for walkers and runners alike.

First time visit to Omaha and was amazed by what they have done with the riverfront. So many places to sit and hang out/picnic, great walking trails including the walk around the lake, the cool pier structure and awesome playgrounds for kids. The best part is it was a 5 in one deal with the pedestrian bridge, Lewis and Clark Landing, Heartland, Leahy mall and Old Market all connected. Had a great time in town!

We enjoyed the old Heartland of America park, but love all the changes they've made to it. We were there on a beautiful fall day, and could just imagine all the events during the summer.

Awesome. Omaha has made downtown a place to visit. Now, Omaha needs to financially back small businesses so that downtown may start thriving once more.

Really beautiful public park, incorporating tons of water features, great picnic areas, memorials, lookout deck over the lake, and more. Parking was free and easy, and while there are often lots of people enjoying the park, it’s never felt crowded. The squirrels are a little too friendly if you have food with you, but they’re fairly easy to shoo away.

We saw this water spurt from 5 blocks away and decided to investigate! This park is full of peaceful views, large swans, and healthy local types exercising. I want to picnic here on one of the many grass benches. Ample visitor parking near the #conagra entrance.

This park is a wonderful place to take your family out for a stroll or picnic, a couple(s) outing, or just to roam to get a clear mind. The gorgeous water fountain, skyscrapers, monuments, historic buildings, and sculptures are a sight to see!

Beautiful place to go for a stroll. Fountains, gardens, and even a gondola. You could easily spend a couple of hours walking the park and surrounding areas. Some people bring "treats" to feed the geese, birds, and swans, although I am not sure if you are supposed to do that. I don't see signs posted not to! A short walk from downtown proper and plenty of off street parking.

Beautiful park. You can rent a boat ride around the lake for $4 a person. Good place to have a picnic, and sit in the shade. There is a water fountain in the middle of the lake that shoots about 60feet in the air. When the wind picks up you get a nice spray on a hot sunny day. The park is around bars, pubs, and restaurants. It's a cute park.

A journey through the heartland of America led me to the captivating Riverfront Park, a destination that beautifully encapsulates the essence of the nation’s spirit and history. This park stands as a testament to the deep connection between the American people and the rivers that have played an integral role in shaping the country. Walking along the pathways of Riverfront Park, I was struck by the harmonious blend of natural beauty and urban vitality. The park’s strategic location at the confluence of [River Names] offers breathtaking panoramic views, showcasing the grandeur of the rivers that have been the lifeblood of this region for generations. The design and layout of the park pay homage to the area’s rich history. Thoughtfully curated exhibits and monuments narrate stories of exploration, settlement, and progress. As I wandered through the park, I found myself immersed in a journey through time, gaining insights into the struggles and triumphs that have defined the heartland of America. A highlight of the park is its interactive spaces that cater to visitors of all ages. The open green spaces are perfect for families to enjoy picnics, frisbee games, and moments of relaxation. The playgrounds echo with the laughter of children, reminding us that the park is not only a historical site but a vibrant hub for community engagement. One cannot overlook the significance of the riverfront itself. The rhythmic flow of the rivers evokes a sense of continuity and connection, reminding us of the vital role these waterways have played in trade, transportation, and fostering a sense of unity among diverse communities. The organizers have done an admirable job of preserving the natural beauty of the park while also providing modern amenities. Well-maintained restrooms, shaded seating areas, and even local food vendors contribute to the overall comfort of visitors. Riverfront Park is more than just a recreational area; it’s a living tribute to the heartland’s resilience, history, and aspirations. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply someone seeking to experience the genuine spirit of America’s heartland, a visit to Riverfront Park is an unforgettable journey into the soul of the nation.

I always go to this area of downtown Omaha, during the day it's super beautiful and at night with the Christmas lights it's even more beautiful! lots of things to do, go for a walk, with the dog, with the children, go for a walk or run, there is an acoustic shell sometimes there is music, a green lawn. There are bicycles to rent or scooters 🛴, it's right in the center of everything. in addition to the newest square opened. contains an ice skating rink ⛸️. the price is super cheap. the trees are all lit up, there is also a huge Christmas tree! lots of space, a big bridge that changes colors, as well as the river around it! the place is fantastic!

I actually enjoyed revisiting both the Gene Leahy Mall Park and Heartland of America Park 🇺🇲 here in Omaha Nebraska in downtown area last week. They did a wonderful job remolding both parks . I encourage everyone to go visit the park before it gets to cold 🥶 outside. Have a goodnight ❤️😁🇺🇲.

It's a really place to take the kids, there are plenty of fun things to do. Slides, jungle gym type things, climbing structures and a few other things for kids to do. There is plenty of space and also restrooms on site. parking could be a bit scarce but this place is definitely worth a visit. There are also 2 dog parks, one for bigger dogs and one for smaller dogs

This park is incredible. It’s a gorgeous walking path around a cute lake. It has a fountain with neon lights in the summer and geese gather there. :) Unfortunately half of the walking path is closed at night. It’s newly remodeled with lots of seating, a few slides, and a seesaw!

Great park to visit whether you are a resident or just visiting. I was in town on a business trip with a friend and we took some time to stroll around. Extensive walking paths, proximity to the lake, and excellent memorial dedications.

I think this place is a great place mainly for the family. I see lots of families enjoying themselves 😁. Kids playing, parents chatting and watching and even some joining their children. I often see runners and couples strolling through as well. It's quite a sight at night as well you should check it out as the bridge headed over into council bluffs is lit up very nicely.

This park is one of the nicest I've seen. It is on par and even better than parks in Japan and Korea. The two children's play areas at the far ends of the park are amazing. The roller rink is a great and unique edition. There are many places to sit where you can ponder while gazing at the water. You can find quiet areas to sit in the sun or the shade and take in the beauty. Definitely worth the visit while you're in Omaha.

This place is awesome!!!! It's got so much cool stuff to play on for all ages. And there are large swings for families of adults who don't want to play with the kids. There is a fence encompassing 99% of the whole thing which is fabulous because the swings are at the end where you walk in and out, so I can leave my kids to go play and not have to worry about them wandering away from the park. I just wish something this awesome would be built farther into the city and supposed to having the drive all the way to the river for it.

Lovely walk around this pond. The waterfall feature near Conagra is pretty. Water fountain is not on in late fall. You will feel a bit of mist from it depending on the wind, but it was a nice relief when I went! Nice view of the Omaha skyline as well! There is a look out area over the river behind the park that is accessible by a small bridge on the west side.

Gorgeous new updated park. New swings overlooking downtown and the lit up fountain. A roller ribbon. Just a wonderful place to being the family to take a walk or have some fun. Lots of benches and chairs. Connects to Gene Lahey Mall(park). They will have plenty of event in the good seasons and look forward to seeing what they do for winter/Christmas. The park reopened fully today.
