Omaha Grain Silos

Historical landmark

👍👍 Nice place to come down to and see one historical part of Omaha. There is a parking lot right by the South Omaha trail that you can park in to the right of the silos. The entrance is extremely bumpy though so be careful in a car. There are some cool murals at the base of the silos that make for a go... People often mention Omaha, cool,

Nice place to come down to and see one historical part of Omaha. There is a parking lot right by the South Omaha trail that you can park in to the right of the silos. The entrance is extremely bumpy though so be careful in a car. There are some cool murals at the base of the silos that make for a good photo spot. The trail that goes past the silos goes under the interstate bridge, sometimes there are some sketchy people under there so be on the lookout for that. All in all it's a cool spot in downtown Omaha to spend about 20 minutes.

This is one of Omaha's most famous landmarks which is visible from Interstate 80 near the 480 split. It's a great place to fly a drone and get some very fantastic video footage.

I was really looking forward to seeing the bins with the artwork. Artwork is gone unless you count the small, grafitti-like murals on just a few of the bins from the backside. Big disappointment.

Great photo ops. If you're in the area swing by to stretch your legs. Walking path goes by them. I didn't know the area enough to know what else was near by. We were just passing through.

A cool thing to see when running on trailer driving past on interstate, but nothing else around besides neighborhood. They have cool pictures posted on them sometimes and graffiti art

Love the graffiti art. A little ominous looking during walk at sunset

It's a silo in downtown Omaha. Not really much to say other than that. They are impressively large, but nothing super exciting to do or see. Spend about 10 minutes here. Take some pictures. Don't do grafitti.

Interesting old structure, smack in the middle of an old neighborhood. Distinctive land mark visible from a long ways out, and has some cool murals on the bottom of each silo so no other tags spray painted out there making it look janky.

The silos are easy to see from the main, I didn't see any road see parking but there is a walking trail next to the silos. So I think next time we are going to look for a walking trail parking location and walk there

Trails are very nice and the building has the small amount of cool graffiti that's by the base from when it was removed

👍👍 Brother and Sister Cain were phenomenal, thank you so much for the tour and conversation. Well done historical center for not only church history but for United States' history. The mormon pioneers paved the way in so many ways.

👍 One of the few upscale areas of downtown Omaha. It's a very enjoyable place for lunch time walk or to grab a bite to eat from one of the area restaurants. A friend is going to fly his drone through the 10 foot wide gap between these tall skyscapers. Check my YouTube channel to view the video.
