I have lived in Omaha all my life and only been to Memorial Park once for a concert. I'm so glad I decided to stop by today. The trees are in bloom and it was nice to walk around the memorials.

Great family place! Good place to walk your dog. During the day, it resembles a dog park, so remember, keep dog on a leash, as all people are not comfortable with loose animals near by. BEST place to go sledding I've seen in my life! Lots of grass field, sport field, children's play ground, walking trail, small creek on either side of the Memorial. Very beautiful place. Lots of parking (around the memorial and a small lot on North West side of the Memorial.

We stopped by this park briefly to view the Times Magazine statue from World War II. This park is gorgeous and well-kept for the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam military memorial. It’s a peaceful area to walk around, and has a nice overlooking view.

I personally love visiting memorial park . As I am a military widow myself . It’s very peaceful there and isn’t a military cemetery vibe. Plus there’s nothing easily breakable there so you can have your kids run around in the wide open areas. I feel weird stepping on peoples names and their titles but overall love it here.

Beautiful and very memorable experience. I visited on my way back home from downtown. I'm so happy I stopped to pay my respects and also see a statue "Embracing Peace " to commemorate 75 year anniversary of the park. The traveling statue will be there for 6 months.

6/6/2023 I was out for a drive this evening and finding myself a bit nostalgic for places I hadn't been for a long time. Drove through Memoral Park for the first time in many years and lucked out. A very nice statue was on display there for the summer, and we just happened across it. It was a very pleasant night out in the park.

Beautiful place with a lot of cool stuff I would recommend going there if you're in Omaha or you're taking a trip to Omaha but there is reading but you don't have to read the stuff like rose gardens

Great, peaceful environment! Not usually busy but plenty of space to have room for yourself. Beautiful World War 2 memorial and amazing, realistic statue from a WW2 picture! Would definitely come again!

Wonderful spot to enjoy nature and get some fresh air. This park is a great walking spot or if you want to set up a blanket and sit down on the lawn under a nice shady tree and enjoy a book or a yummy meal. The peony garden is gorgeous!

The rose garden is definitely worth seeing on an evening and a great way to spend time with a friend or loved one or on a date night in the summer and fall before the frost hits and is gorgeous and looks like possibly a full acre in size. Very laid back and relaxing. A lot of variety of roses, the most of anything here in Omaha, and very well kept. Volunteers adopt a section and care for the roses throughout the season and they do a great job and put in lots of work. The new memorial section for the arm forces on the east side is very well done and quiet. Very, very spacious throughout the park, for lounging on blankets, and you can even explore the creak area on the west side. No bathrooms are available, but it does have a play area on the west side and a ball field that can be used on that side also. Not the best for a bike ride type of park but lots and lots of space, very clean and very relaxed atmosphere for kids and families.

Beautiful! Absolutely breath taking. A great place to take your pets, family, or even date! There is an open field perfect for picnics, kite flying, or a solid game of catch. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the beautiful rose garden! I will return and recommend this park to my closest friends and family.

I seriously want to fine a place for my dogs. And this is it! I can let my dogs catch a ball, run about lime dogs sould. So refreshing to see people accept that. My dogs are well trained, that is why they are off leash. A dog needs to room and be free. There is no where in Omaha that lets that happen. A dog park that is smaller then my back yard is not a dog park. Nebraska needs to step up and build some real dog parks. For now, I will frequent this park as the people are so delightful and dog welcoming.

Absolutely love this park. I use the location for photoshoots and dog walks often. It’s private enough for some nice relaxing time without being out of the city! So many gorgeous locations for sitting, walking, exploring, etc. there is a playground on the west side of the park near a baseball field. Definitely and enchanting experience To visit during the spring when everything is in bloom!

Beautiful large park with plenty of space to enjoy kite flying, soccer, baseball, or just a game of catch with the kids! The monument honors those who fought in the Korean Conflict and has meaning to me because my father fought in the Navy during that time. A row of flags line the entrance and exit in the roundabout area at the top of the monument to remind us all of the sacrifices that those have made in history and continue to this day for us to enjoy our freedom!

Suchhhhh a pretty place to walk! The roses were all in bloom and everything was extremely well manicured. The leaves were SPECTACULAR and made for a lovely 2.5 mile jaunt.

This park is absolutely beautiful. It is a great homage to every service member that had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Being a Marine I have to say have to admit for as small as it is it's an amazing park. I loved it so much that I married my beautiful wife there. It's a day that I'll never forget. If you have the opportunity to visit this park please do it. You will not regret it.

This is a beautiful city park with lots of green space to move about. We were here most recently for a family photo shoot, but have also been here many other times during the year. It's a wonderful place for sledding in the winter and the 4th of July outdoor concert is a blast. The playground at the bottom of the hill is fun for little people. Definitely worth a visit!
