The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I was a little unhappy that they charge a deposit, which was not advertised when I booked, and then was double charged, which depending on your bank can take 3 days to correct. I thankfully had funds available that it didn't incapacitate me, however I was on a road trip and it could have caused an issue had I not had ample funds.

We booked thru a third party. We checked in at a little after midnight. At the time of check-in I was informed that $100 would actually be charged to my credit card above the room rate and fees. I wasn't told of this when booking my room. The explanation was they cannot tell the difference between credit cards and prepaid cards so it's for incidentals and woukd be refunded in 3-5 days. Because it was so late , I accepted the additional/non disclosed charges at the time I booked and paid for a non refundable room, and went to our room. The next morning, I called at 9 am to ask for a late check out as my 11 year old was in the hospital and we wouldn't know by 11 if she would be released. I was told no because housekeeping had to clean 40 rooms that day. I asked if the room was available for an additional night and was told yes, but because it was a "new reservation " my card would be charged an additional $100 for incidentals, even though the $100 that had been charged 9 hours earlier had not been refunded and wouldn't for 3 to 5 business days. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she would be in at 10 and my message would be given to her at that time to call me. By this time I had found the phone and channel changer in the room were not working. I decided to take a bath and as I was running the bath water a large bug crawled out of the drain (see pics) and the towel that was in the bathroom was thread bare in places. As you can see from the pictures the curtain was also broken. I was willing to book a second night, regardless of the conditions of the room and pay, even though I may not need the room for the the night just for the convenience of having a room away from home while we waited to hear from the hospital, but I was not willing to pay an additional $100 deposit that was never disclosed to me at the time of booking and payment. We packed our things to leave and check out as I had not heard from the manager and it was 11. As I walked to the front desk I passed an office, I stopped and asked if she was the manager, which she confirmed she was. I asked if she had not received my message. She responded that she had only about 30 seconds prior to me walking up to her office. Her poor employee that was sitting across from her was thrown under the bus in front of a guest. I asked about their policy of charging an additional $100 deposit to stay a second night, her only response was it was a "new reservation ". I will not stay here again, the manager definitely did not appreciate my business and what a ridiculous thing to collect two deposits for two night stays. This hotel must have so much business it doesn't need mine.

Undergoing a remodel, so I understand things don't look the greatest. There was no toilet paper holder and the open toilet paper was more than half empty which tells me it wasn't changed out from the previous guests. The bathroom had some rough spots and cracks but I can forgive that for being an older building. We had to leave at 11:00pm when I saw a Bed Bug crawling next to me!

Update: Have now stayed multiple times at this hotel: safe, quiet, very clean rooms, SUPERB FRONT DESK HELP, (thank you Amanda!!). Delicious, hot breakfast varying daily! Even had cheese omelette my last day!! Much appreciated!! The manager is so AWESOME, efficient & supportive that her front desk employees act more like a concierge service. Concierge Amanda and Concierge Paul and the weekend front desk -- just ALL of them are AMAZING!! The full hot breakfast is deliciously consistent. GREAT JOB on breakfast preparation and keeping it fully stocked! The rooms are consistently clean and well appointed. This hotel is safe and wonderful. It is my home away from home in Omaha for sure!

The staff were helpful. The room was clean and nice. Everything worked. It was a nice stay. The one disappointment was the the pool wasn’t available because they were switching management and hadn’t gotten the new permits yet. I chose that hotel for the pool and the price. But it looked like a nice pool once they get the permits sorted. A very nice bonus is that the free breakfast was great! We were happy and stuffed.

I just didn't feel safe here. The room smelled quite bad. There was a general odor of sweat, urine, and remnants of cigarette smoke that seemed baked into the carpet and blasted through the cooling unit. There was an unsettling large red stain right next to the bed (see picture). The general disrepair and dilapidated state left me feeling less safe in the hotel. As a woman traveling alone, I try to listen to my instincts. When I left only hours after checking in, hotel staff asked no questions. After sharing my concerns the guy behind the desk just said okay and took my room key without offering a refund (not that I'm confrontational enough to demand one either). It left me thinking they might be used to it. I saw rooms 111 and 116. I hope all the other rooms are better but I wouldn't bet on it. The sheets and mattress were clean but that's about the only good thing I can think of. Really great Indian food in walking distance.

Breakfast is from 7am-10am, so they say. I get down there about 9:45am and the lady had already taken out the waffle batters and saw me looking around at options and she continued emptying out the eggs/sausage pans right in front of me as if I didn't want breakfast! If breakfast is until 10am everything should be there even 15 minutes before it's over. Everything else was decent, just extremely upset about the disrespectful worker who thought I walked into the breakfast area to watch her clean it out.

Booked a night on 12/23. I always strip the bed prior. Worked many years in the hospitality industindustry many years. Found a bed bug carcus. On the matress cover. Took a picture showed the lady at the front desk. They did void the transaction from my credit card. The place was dirty. When we walked in the room it smelled decent. After returning to the room, since the bed was stripped it smelt horrible. The matress was very hard. The cable reception was spotty and pixelated.

I have been in the hotel business 30 years and I understand a older hotel or even motel. However first thing I look for is cleanliness, it lacked big time. I noticed quickly blood stains on the walls, then the beds. When box springs are not covered and the felt fabric is hanging there is a big issue. This place had live and dead bed bugs. I killed one and found one dead! I understand people bring things in, but here is a tip, Crossfire! You can purchase it on Amazon and it will kill them. I do not reccomend this place due to cleanliness and bugs!

Super weird hotel. I smoked outside two hours later they came knocking on my door saying I was smoking in my room and that someone tried checking into my room other than me weird. I definitely did not smoke in the room I travel a lot and would never did I have it in the room yes no smoking tho was worried about who I had in my room with me as well. Tv did not work bathroom had hair n dried something on floor beds had dark hairs on them nothing was done about it. The lady the day prior I had no issues with how ever the two lady’s working today had a problem with me for whatever reason. I left and will no longer be returning to this hotel very rude staff n not clean rooms

Nice place. Faint lingering odor of latex paint and evidently new carpeting in the corridor suggests a recent 'sprucing up.' Comfortable breakfast area and a breakfast selection (and room to move around in while getting it) a bit above average. Two elevators--nice, when patrons are loading an extended family and luggage on a different floor, or service staff are wrestling multiple carts on and off on some other floor. Be aware: No eating establishments right nearby, within easy walking distance, but plenty of them accessible by car less than a mile (?) south.

The service was excellent! The manager Glen was extremely helpful. I needed to extend my checkout time by two hours because of a business call. They were totally accommodating. The WiFi provided the bandwidth for clear zoom meeting. The breakfast was great

We've stayed here 2 times now. It's a great romantic staycation getaway for us, and will continue to be. Miranda is a wonderful manager and makes everything better with her presence here. We've stayed in both the king whirlpool room and the king suite whirlpool room. Very clean rooms and plenty of space. I would highly recommend staying here.

The only good thing about this place was it was close to the location we needed to be at. This was rented for a group event. The room was disgusting. I would not recommend it to anyone. We had trash on our floors, hair in the bed, and pee all over the toilet and bathroom floor. The floors hadn’t been vacuumed. The halls were noisy. Staff was always outside smoking and the phone was left unanswered. The only decent person was the nice woman that did the breakfast. No hot tub even though it was advertised.

My friend and I needed somewhere to stay on a whim. We booked one bed which said it was available and then was told they didn’t know why it was online but it wasn’t, so they got us to a two bed room. 30 minutes after getting there, we had to check out because we saw a bed bug crawling on the bed. They did check us out and give a refund as we asked but didn’t apologize or anything. Just kind of were like “oh”.

Very friendly staff! Room was very cleaned, besides the trash was full from the last guests. The breakfast was great and filling. Will highly recommend this hotel

Hotel was clean, but the maintenance was horrible. Toilet seat was literally falling off the stool, needless to say very dangerous for an older person. One wonders why the maid did not report it. Moved to another room, the floor lamp light bulb and shade were hanging from a broken socket by exposed wires. One wonders again why the maid did not report this. The hinged lock on the door jam was just hanging on by loose screws, the ice machine did not work on the second floor, and when we went to get orange juice at breakfast, the OJ was out and the far left juice spigot sprayed fluid all over the counter. I will say the room was clean but this hotel really needs some maintenance and updating. I realize the hotel was older, but no excuse for the lack of caring and maintenance. Would I stay there again, NO !

The brightest room I've ever seen. The curtains are engineered to deliberately only cover about a third of the room's lone window. There is literally no way to make the rooms dark in the daytime if you need to sleep, which I did. I know it's not Vegas, but come on! Curtains that actually fit the windows is not an unreasonable demand for a national chain hotel.

Facility was pretty run down. A few small things in room that needed fixed or touched up. Main areas could have used some attention. Pool was nice but rust on metal areas. Check in was slow but attendant was nice. All the employees were nice & helpful.

The person doing check in was fantastic. Very helpful and she did not say my room number out loud, which I appreciate when other guests are nearby. The room was decent- comfortable bed. We had a whirlpool tub and it was nice. But the faucet was...gross. I attached pics. Also there was mold in the shower, again I attached pics. Breakfast was good, pretty basic but also a decent selection. Eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, yogurt. Coffee was good! Overall I'd say they need to clean the bathrooms better.
