Desk staff was stern/rude. We called before we booked and asked to confirm the pool and hot tub is working. They said everything is fine there. Upon check-in she informed us wrist bracelets must be used and rudely told us that the pool towels are to stay in the pool area. Hot tub was not as hot as they usually are. Not a big deal. My wife and I both exercise daily. On every website we checked it said they have a gym. After check in we look for the swimming pool and gym and we find out they are using the gym for storage and the equipment is unusable. The secondary entrance door lock would not let us in and then later on the door was stuck open so very insecure. Then to top it off I had a couple bags in the room so I went back in at 12:02 and the front desk lady caught the door behind me and held it open saying that we are to check out. There are definitely much better hotels in this price range. The only positive I have to say is the heat pump/AC unit in the room was very nice.

Planning for the zoo? Your kids will love it here! Adults without kids, not worth the stay. Coffee, coffee maker, elevator, water pressure, and cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Kids will only notice the amazing custom pool that worked without flaw at a max depth of 3ft. The pool water was warm, the hot tub was HOT, towels were clean and readily available, with pool hours 7am-10pm. Late check out at noon with only a 10minute drive to the zoo and a nice full breakfast. Peanut allergy and tree nut people beware! Lots of nuts in the food area

We had a great stay! The check-in process was super smooth and easy, the room was very clean and neat, and the pool was fun (although hot tub could be more warm). Pool area was a little crowded with kids and hot tub had kids in it that were too young. The K-Cup coffee machines are a wonderful touch in the already great rooms.

The room was fine with two queen beds. The place was very clean and quiet. The bathroom was clean with a good shower. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They have a great family pool and hot tube. It is easy to get to from the interstate. They also allow dogs there. We have stayed there three previous times and have yet to experience any major problems. Their breakfast is always hot and ready.

Our room was HUGE! I’m so going back here, it’s almost as if they had a complete remodel recently? The cleanliness was impeccable, they have everything decorated for Halloween and and I thought that was super cute and welcoming. The front desk lady was beyond sweet and very informative, I wish I would’ve got her name (she deserves a raise!) We were on the 5th floor. A safety feature bonus that I enjoyed was, you must have a room key to use the elevator to go up on any floor. I’d give it a 10 ⭐️ if I could, I highly recommend!

I absolutely loved my stay! I checked in Sunday and left Thursday. My room was clean and the king size bed was super comfy. Only one tiny issue would be the heater/ac sounding like a jet engine when kicking on. But the Pancake conveyor belt machine with Nutella stocked at the end more than made up for it. I was obsessed with it! The building was very clean and quiet. Highly recommend this location.

BEST BREAKFAST I've had in a hotel since before the pandemic! Well done! The room was also nice and clean, with great blackout curtains. I'm very happy I stayed here.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Omaha. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern in decor and amenities. In our room, the shower was kind of difficult to turn on but that is it. The shower itself was tall and good water pressure. Towels were nice and large and the bed super comfortable. The coffee machine in the lobby was wonderful! It made espresso, lattes, and coffee. All custom ground and brewed. Breakfast had many options and the juices were delicious. (I've been in hotels where the juice would be more on the watery side) The location is near a lot of restaurants, fast food, shopping and right off the hwy and interstate. This being said, we did not hear street noise except for an emergency vehicle once. We did not use the pool since it was more kid friendly and had quite a few people in it. (We did not travel with children).

Had a great time. Went just to take the kids to the indoor water park. There were issues with the card readers but the front desk got that taken care of. They were very nice. The pool was fun for younger kids. It only goes to 3ft, so I wouldn't suggest it for older kids.

Such a great and child friendly stay! Rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was great for kids. The whole thing was under 3 feet and had the two slides. And warm! Breakfast was pretty standard with cooked food and hotel staples. Not centrally located but a short drive to where we wanted to be

I've never been to a hotel before that has decorated for Halloween in their lobby/reservation desk area. Very well done! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean place. The room I had was very spacious and well put together. I liked the fact that this hotel also had a back elevator that you could use with your room key. Came in handy instead of walking back up to the lobby to use the elevator there. Lots of parking around the whole building. A wide variety of hot/cold foods for breakfast. Nice spread. Lol Definitely will be back if ever in the area again.

Mixed review as the front desk staff was amazing! They even gave me treats for my dog and accommodated my ground floor request. My complaint is about the housekeeping staff! I have been driving 4 days at this point cross country and was awaken at 6:57 (I looked at my alarm) so someone blasting music outside my room, I know the housekeeping closet was nearby my room. Okay whatever it goes away and I fall back asleep. At 10 I get a knock on my door from housekeeping even tho I have the privacy plate hanger up on the door! She actually walked into our room with my boyfriend and large dog in there. She apologized and left. Then as we were working on loading up the car to get out of there the housekeeping knocks again! I quickly shout hey someone is still in here. At this point I feel like I’m being pushed out of a room I PAID for. I open my door and confirm with housekeeping that checkout is indeed 12, (it’s 11:15 at this point). She says yes and sorry. I have never felt more rushed to get out of room before. I felt anxious because of them. I would be afraid to stay here again; you pay for your room and a decent night sleep.

Bed sheets had stains. Towels had stains. Cabinet did not close on refrigerator. Bed was not very comfortable. Shower functions was weak water and difficult to get water temperature correct. The pool was absolutely disgusting. There were floating dirt and hair throughout the entire pool. You could smell the chlorine from the front office all the way on the opposite side of the hotel. When I asked for 2 extra towels the front desk clerk asked me if I had brought back my other towels before I could get more. But the housekeeping never cleaned our room on the morning after our first night. I won't be recommending this hotel anytime in the future.

Great value for the location and the amenities! The kiddie pool was a huge hit with our 3 year old, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful and offered a great variety. The elevators were a little run down, but the guest rooms looked newly remodeled and we're exceptionally clean. The main highlight was that we accidentally left a bag of our son's prescription medications in our room after we checked out. When we arrived at our destination and realized what had happened, I called the front desk and Caroline spoke with me on the phone and was so incredibly helpful and found his medications! We are so thankful that they took the time to search for his medications and were able to find them! Highly recommend!

The shallow water of the one end of the pool is nice for small children. Starts ar 8 inches. But because it is a large hotel, it gets crowded fast. Pool could have been cleaner. Hot tub was nice. Rooms were nice too. Modern updates were good. Nice to have a large fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast was adequate for our needs. I liked that they had multiple waffle irons. Staff was kind and welcoming. Definitely an older hotel in general but they do a pretty good job keeping it clean and not feeling super old with updates. Would stay again, just wish the pool was a bit better.

Rooms were nice, breakfast was great and the pool was perfect for our toddler. The pool could definitely use some cleaning and the hot tub was SO hot that even the adults couldn’t enjoy it. The traffic noise was SO loud in our room though it sounded like the window was open. Hallways and back entryway were dirty and smelly, but luckily our room was updated and clean.

Nice older Hotel that has been Remodeled. Check-In was easy, Only has 1 Elevator, but it is Fast. Room was nice, but the Mattress needed to changed out. Good Breakfast selection and plenty of seating in the Breakfast area.

When we arrived we were a little worried. The lobby hasn’t been remodeled yet and it smells a little strange. The elevators are also very old, but they work. Once we got up to our rooms we were thrilled. The rooms have been recently remodeled and were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom were clean. The room had a working mini fridge and a microwave. The room did not have USB outlets, so be sure to take your own charging bricks. There is a Target just down the street if you forgot anything! 15 min from the zoo and the SAC museum/wildlife safari, very close to the Storm Chasers stadium. Breakfast was wonderful. It was crowded and there were lots of kids, but the food was great. We went to the pool/water park. It is very loud and can be a little overstimulating, but my 8 year old had a blast. As others have said, the bottom of the pool is very rough. Water shoes wouldn’t be a bad idea. The pool doesn’t get very deep, but we played for a few hours on the slides and floating raft/lily pad that were in there. The hot tub was also nice. We will stay there again.

We had an emergency which required us to find overnight accommodations for one night. I made the reservation online & then called the hotel at 9 am to see if we could get into the room early. The woman I spoke with (learned later she was the GM) was very accommodating and blocked the room immediately, told us the room was ready whenever we arrived. The room was spotless, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would (and have) recommended it to others. If we EVER need overnight accommodations again, this is where we will be staying.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Best Western Plus Midwest Inn, but I am glad we stayed. The hotel wasn't a 5 star hotel, but a clean 3 star. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had bottled water in the rooms, and good toiletries. The halls were clean. The pool was nice and warm and didn't go above 3 foot. It was very much filled with chlorine, you could smell that outside of the pool area but my kids absolutely enjoyed playing in there. They had a smaller slide, perfect for toddlers. A bit bigger slide and a hot tub too. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good too. They offered eggs (two different), biscuits and gravy, and make your own waffles, with a ton of toppings. In the hallway they had a 24hr nespresso machine where you could make different lattes and hot mochas, that was such a nice touch. The fitness area was fairly adequate for a fitness area, some dumbells and even a peloton bike plus. We really liked this hotel and will for sure go back for another Omaha visit.

We came up to celebrate a birthday, wanted this hotel due to the little waterpark! We reserved a 2 queen bed room, we went and checked in got our stuff up to our room (701) upon getting in and seeing the beds, it was very obvious that they were full beds. We thought that was weird, so we went to ask the front desk if there was just a mix up. Instantly, the lady said “Nope, we only have 2 size beds - Queen and King - so you’re mistaken” it was obvious she has had others asking why they had full beds. I know the difference between a Full and Queen bed. Next, we went down to the waterpark, which we knew wasnt going to be huge. We did not expect it to be so steamy that you couldn’t see 2 foot in front of you. We were also shocked that the deepest end was only 3 foot deep. It also was super slimy all over the floor, the slides, and the other items in the pool. In the morning, we went down for breakfast. The setup was nice, but the food wasn’t very good. There also was no cereal or any other really “picky kid” friendly foods. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I did email the GM of the hotel, so hopefully she will take these things in consideration.

This hotel is great when you're at Omaha. Next time I come back. This is where I'll be staying. Yeah, comfortable relaxing environment. Everybody from check in to check out was friendly and polite no no complaints here

Amazing hotel. They don't try to save money by keeping the pool at a freezing 78° to 80 like other hotels do. I'm guessing the pool temperature is around 96°. You hop into the hot tub and it's not much warmer. Great breakfast buffet as well.

We stopped here in a cross country road trip. Service was great, I was traveling with my grandmother so they gave us a first floor, handicap room without an issue. It was also very close to a side door so she didn’t have to walk far. I had my mini Australian shepherd dog, and the pet fee was only 30 dollars. The location was great - in a safe area right off the highway, ideal for road trippers! It was a clean hotel with a wonderful breakfast - they had REAL scrambled eggs which made my morning. 10/10 would stay again if traveling through Omaha!

We were hold on arrival that we have to purchase more rooms in order to have more people at the pool since they only give 5 wristbands so we couldn't stay. Thankfully the GM refunded us so we could use the money elsewhere. Looked like a nice hotel and would've loved to use it but we have too big of a family lol

This location is well managed! The pool area is fantastic for kids! The hot tub is actually hot! The rooms were clean and will maintained. The beds were comfortable. All the complaints on the reviews on here seemed to be taken care of which means the management actually cares.

I was skeptical at first, however it was a great investment. It was perfect for my younger 2 kids and my teenagers would have enjoyed the pool as well even though it is 3 ft. I didn't mind this, it was stress free knowing I didn't have to worry about going in the "deep end." Room was very clean and inviting, bed super comfy. Thanks for thr hospitality, we'll be back again!

We made a last minute reservation and the staff on site were helpful in picking the best room for our family. We went down to the pool/water park twice and the kids loved it (5, 5, 3, 1). It is a good size for about 10-15 kids and easy viewing of the whole room. The pool room is noisy (the mushroom water thing) so go in with the expectation of not hearing much. There are plenty of tables, separate bathrooms & access to a patio. Towels are plentiful and restocked a lot.

  • 4/5 Erica K. 3 months ago on Google • 3 reviews New
Overall, I loved the location of the hotel. It was easy to get around. It was pretty crowded at the hotel, which is good, but can make the small pool and dining area crowded and hard to navigate. The fire alarms went off due to the humidity of the pool, and the fire department showed up. They said this was common. Then the next morning, 2 cops walked onto our elevator after visiting a room. There were also never enough towels at the pool area.

I generally think of Best Western as a motel rather than a hotel, but we just stayed here and it was perfect. Looks like it was recently renovated. Great tile floor in the bathroom, bed was comfortable, nice furniture and fixtures, and the pool and hot tub were awesome!

For an older hotel, it is very nice. Room was just renovated. Hot tub, pool with slide and perfect for kids. Excellent staff and a welcoming hot breakfast in the morning. Our stay was awesome.

Price was too high. $211 for 1 night seems a little much in my opinion. The bathroom was leaking water from the ceiling onto you while on the toilet and when I tryed to wipe it with a towel it pushed through as the ceiling was very wet. It looked as if it had been patched before in the same area. I Told the front desk and they had already known about the issue which tells me they never fixed the issue but instead just re patched it. Who knows what kind of mold issues are up there. Toilet handle was also broken but still got the job done I guess. Breakfast had a good selection and stayed up on making sure everything was filled. Pool not as deep as I was expecting 3 feet was the deepest. Some crazy lady was in the hot tub from 2PM til about 930pm she would talk at you and try to force you to communicate with her.

We were in Omaha only 1 night and stayed here for the pool. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool but it didn’t seem very clean. Everything felt slimy and there were literally wristbands floating in the water. The room itself was fine and the breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is very dated with a remodeled lobby/breakfast area. It was fine for 1 night.

Great hotel in western Omaha, just off I-80. Definitely an older hotel, but the rooms have been updated. The only critique of the room is that the mattress was a little firm. Room was very clean. Bathroom was spotless. Pool area was wonderful! Great for kids! A mini waterslide for the small kids and a bigger one for the older kids. Max pool depth is 3 feet, so no need to worry about kids wandering into the deep end. Breakfast looked great and we would've stayed if we didn't have other plans. They had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, waffles, and more. Far greater selection than what most hotels provide. Staff was wonderful from the front desk to the housekeepers and maintenance man (who was checking the water quality in the pool/hot tub). Only about 10-12 minutes from the zoo. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Omaha in November.

  • 3/5 Jessica H. 10 months ago on Google
The room was decent. We had a double queen. The tv went out saying no signal within the first hour that we got there. There was a maintenance guy that came to look at it and had to reset the wifi or something which eventually fixed it, but it was a little frustrating. The room was clean, but we did have a couple towels with stains. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Lots of options to choose from, well stocked, employees were great. The pool was fun for the kids. It only gets to like 3 ft deep. Hot tub was nice. The chlorine smell was a little overwhelming. Really hot and humid in the pool area. Temperatures were good. Overall it was about what I expected for the price.

Nice place. Convenient being located just off L street. Clean, comfortable rooms. Free breakfast that offered lots of options. Only downside was the pool. It's geared to small children and very busy. Only 1 to 3 feet deep.

We booked this hotel super last minute, and they had no problem finding us a room & answering all of our questions. The rates were fair, especially since we were traveling with a dog. The little water park for kiddos was great entertainment (definitely geared towards toddlers.) The hotel felt clean, our room felt clean - & the beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was included & great as we were on-the-go. The only thing we wished could have happened was a late check-out. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again & we would recommend it to others.

Definitely recommend this hotel especially if you have kids. The pool was fantastic for our granddaughter. Staff was friendly and rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good too. Loved the 24 hr coffee, hot chocolate, espresso, mocha, cappuccino machine. If you have kids, pick this hotel

Ok so we stay here 4 days a year every year for kid pick up and drop off. The hotel rooms are fine and the kids love the pool. On that note this year 6-2-23 we reserved the rooms 2 months in advance when we arrived the front desk hit us with 150 dollar no smoking fee. We dont smoke.... they said this would be returned to us after they clean the room two days later. Last I knew they take only credit or debit cards so they can charge for that after your stay and if you damage the rooms or smoke in them. lucky for me I own a company and can afford this hidden charge but what about other people living pay check to pay check and did not plan for the hidden fee. All in all we might be finding a new place next year for pick up and drop off as this hidden fee and extra cost when we booked early is crazy.... hope this help people looking for hotels. I would hope that the owners and best Western would see this and make sure it's addressed or there going to loss business. I'm willing to change my rating if corporate contacts me to clear up or help me understand these hidden charges that are crazy. I feel like me and my wife were judged as we were wearing comfy cloths due the the 14hr drive we just did.

We booked this room for a 4 day Easter getaway for the family. We booked it for the small water park that’s part of the hotel. The water park is nice and kept clean but there needs to be crowd control. Possibly have guests reserve times because it gets way too crowded and is a safety concern. Parents do not watch their children which is ridiculous. If the pool was crown controlled it would be worth it but there were probably 60 people in a very very small area. Other than that it’s in a good location and the rooms are very nice.

We came for a 4 day trip with 3 toddlers. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool was so much fun for the kids. The breakfast was very good and in stock even when we arrived one morning close to"closing". The espresso machine available 24/7 was awesome. The rooms were clean and updated. Thank you for the great start at such a great value!

Rooms were very nice and clean, beds were very comfortable if you like a softer bed. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast had a very nice variety of food. The pool is nice for kids, near zero entry. Be very cautious stepping into the pool, I almost fell on my butt. It is very slick at the entry point. Also, it is so humid in there that water was dripping from the ceiling. Other than those two things, it is a nice place to stay.

It's a beautiful morning, and I wake up to the sound of chirping birds outside my window at the Best Western hotel. I stretch my arms and legs and feel refreshed after a good night's sleep on the comfortable bed. I head to the bathroom, which is clean and well-maintained with fresh towels and toiletries. As I make my way down to the lobby, I'm greeted with a friendly smile from the staff who are ready to help with anything I need. I grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast from the complimentary buffet, which includes a variety of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. I spend my day exploring the local area, and when I return to the hotel, I'm pleased to find that my room has been cleaned and tidied. I decide to take a dip in the pool, which is clean and well-maintained with plenty of chairs to relax on. Very family friendly pool more catered to the little ones with fountain and two water slides. As I head back to my room for the night, I'm grateful for the comfort and convenience of the Best Western hotel. The staff, amenities, and overall experience have exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Best family friendly hotel. All the staff were amazing, very nice and accommodating (front desk, breakfast, room staff). The breakfast was very good compared to other hotels who provide it. The breakfast staff was exceptional. This hotel works hard to make a great experience for kids. The pool area is all kid focused, making it easy to navigate supervising more than one child. We really enjoyed our stay.
