We choose upper floors because it was our understanding that dogs and cats are restricted to lower floors. This helps us avoid the serious cat allergies we have that can ruin an entire stay. But this night the room next to us - on the 4th floor - had a large dog that barked and whined until well after midnight. Of course it stopped as soon as the owners returned so they had no idea their dog kept tired people (who paid $170 to sleep) up till that late. I would suggest that people with pets be restricted to lower floors and that people who break that rule and sneak animals in be subject to the same fines smokers who sneak smokes are. There is no reason one customer should be allowed to ruin all the effort the hotel employees put into providing a safe and comfortable stay. The hotel has an obligation to develop and enforce rules that are fair to all. I wont continue with Hampton Inn if they dont work to fix this problem.

Worst hotel experience ever We were traveling home to Minnesota and booked a room here in advance- called the hotel directly to book, but was transferred to a reservationist. Told this woman the date we’d need a room ( April 23), 2 adults and 1 dog. The price was supposed to be $149, according to the site and the reservationist. This hotel gouged us $276 for a one night stay in a less than stellar room. They charged us $75 for our dog (?dog friendly?) and tacked on an “ incidental fee” on top of the cost. The front desk clerk was rude- accused us of not telling the hotel we had a dog with us (told the reservationist when booking remember) . When we expressed our outrage at the cost for the night, this same rude clerk said the hotel often jacks up the price on the weekend. Do not stay with this hotel unless you like sticker shock and being treated rudely. Hope to never have to book with Hilton again (we are actually Hilton rewards members and were treated this poorly!) We contacted customer service and got nowhere. Stressful ending to a vacation!!

The gentleman serving breakfast was friendly, and the eggs were actually delicious. Luke who checked us in at 0100 was kind, friendly, and quick. Rooms were clean, loved the wide entrance and spaciousness. Overall price was higher than I'd have liked but you get what you pay for.

10.12.23: Still no reply from Hampton. I guess they condone the bad behavior from management. Lisa!!!! The worst manager I have ran into in life!! As a Hhonors member I am embarrassed for this company. I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Lisa and her sidekick "Alopecia" (is what she said her name was - I guess she was trying to be funny). They are practicing racial discrimination by asking customers to use a "major" credit card after they get to the hotel, even though as a Hhonors member you are allowed to use and book rooms with a regular bank Visa or Master Card. They are assumming minorities do not have "major" credit cards. I do have a major credit card but did not use it due to principal. The ignorance of staff on the self-check in process where I used my debit card anyway after they said I couldn't (and it worked) was incredible. Lisa who stated "I used to work at a bank and there is no such thing as a major credit card." #ignorant. When I tried to have a discussion with Lisa about the credit card policy, she insulted me by assuming I was not a guess at the hotel, which I was. Then once she found out my room number, she and "Alopecia" removed me from the Hhonors survey review process - where I no longer receive emails after my stays. DEAR HHHONOR .... GET RID OF LISA AND PUT ME BACK IN THE SURVEY REVIEW PROCESS. THANKS

Front desk clerk made the poor decision of canceling our pre-paid reservation for 2 nights because we hadn't arrived to check in by 1am on the 1rst night. No phone call to let us know before doing that, so we found out when we arrived. Very disappointed in the customer service. Had to scramble to find another place to stay.

This place did not make me feel warm and invited starting with the front desk at check in. We went to the room and opened up the bar of soap to wash our hands and found that it had been used! We went out to dinner and when we returned we tried to park in the Diamond parking and found that someone had taken up two spots preventing us from using our Diamond status to park in these preferred spaces. In the morning, I tried to make coffee in the room coffee maker and the little tray that was supposed to hold the coffee pod would not stay in. I hate that hotels have gone to these type of coffee makers. Overall, I would not stay in this particular hotel again. The previous night we stayed in a Home 2 suites which was considerably better.

I will try to be short here. I have stayed in Hilton (all over the world) on several occasions, I have lived/been to Omaha several times, people in this city always have been nice, kind and helpful. We travel to Omaha quite often, usually stay in Marriott and this is the first time I was staying in your hotel. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: I strongly believe (and I have pictures) that both myself, my wife and our 17 month old baby got bug bites. When Lisa Hudgins, the Assistant Manager of this hotel was informed, she was belligerent, to be honest intimidating and hostile. Her only response was that "We follow the protocol and you have to wait till Monday". In the evening, she kicked my entire family out on a false pretext that we lost the client due to you (complaining about bed bugs). Truth of the matter is that the client was leaving due to non-functioning swimming pool. Please look up review of "Julie Brown (from a week ago)". Lisa Hudgins wasn't willing to listen to any our pleas/arguments from my wife/myself and she threatened us to leave the hotel in one and half hour in 10 degrees weather. To ensure safety of my family, we decided to leave this place and move to another hotel. I have traveled all over the world, have never had such an awful client service experience. It was like a bad episode from Twilight Zone. OVERCHARGED (OUR STAY BY A NIGHT): In the end, moral of the story is “Don’t use Hampton Inn in Old Mill Road, Omaha” if you want care about self-respect, your sanity, peace of mind, your money and your physical/mental health. Also, I would personally AVOID Hilton at all costs since their corporate customer support is non-existent/useless and I would rather stay in a cheaper Super-8 instead. CONCLUSION: Also, I adding these bed bug bite marks, pictures don’t lie and you guys can decide what they look to you. Also, most people in the staff were very nice including the girl who checked us in on the first day. She actually recommended me to take the pictures of these bite marks and agreed that these look like bed bugs.

My husband got terrible bites over his arms after one night staying there. After the second night, he had them on his legs, too. There were blood smears on the sheets from the fresh bites. We asked to change rooms which they allowed us to. When he returned the keys to the first room there was a couple at the front desk complaining about cancelling their reservation because the pool and hot tub weren’t working. They asked my husband why he was returning his keys and he said he got bug bites all over his body. A bit later, the assistant manager Lisa Hudgins came to our room and told us they were evicting us because my husband was telling guests that we got bug bites. Lisa was irate, confrontational, and hostile. My husband, baby, dog, and I left. We were then charged for an extra night. Lisa told me that she would call me Monday before the final bill was sent through. She didn’t. After calling a few times and leaving messages, she never called me to let me know the results of the bed bugs. Hilton customer service told us we had to call the hotel to find a resolution. I am so beaten down by this whole experience that after I write this review, I am done. I will never ever stay at Hampton Inn again. To kick a family out because we complained we had bed bugs into the cold of a Nebraska winter is just heartless. Lisa is a Karen. If you don’t believe me, look at the rest of the reviews. This was the only hotel we stayed at - where else could these bites have come from? I wash my hands of this now. I am still waiting on a call from Lisa, but I'm not holding my breath. I wish I could post pictures, but can't. No one at the hotel contested this though. Now I am still cleaning sheets and making sure they bugs don't transfer. I'm completely emotionally drained and stressed and not able to enjoy the holiday.

Bad experience. Found a bed bug in my room. The best they said they could do was make us move to another room - which would require my wife and I to leave our stuff until housekeeping arrives. Also found fast food garbage under the box spring. Cleanliness may not be a concern here. Approach with caution. I'd say I got what I paid for, but I've stayed at $60 hotels that were less concerning. $125 for a bed bug scare and a dirty room is not worth it.

Wonderful service at check in. Room was cool, dry and clean. Excellent breakfast. Hallway was very warm and a bit stinky. Sheet not tucked in and easily pulled out during the night. Shampoo not in bathroom. Great shower head! Close to NU and some goid breweries.

Staff was friendly but most importantly the man making breakfast went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. Only downfall was lack of housekeeping. Someone left a half eaten pizza still in the box by the elevator and it stayed there all week…

The hotel is located near lots of shops and restaurants and is easily accessible to Omaha sights. My room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. Overall, a great stay.

I am halfway through a 2 week stay. This place is great. Amazing staff. Clean and we'll appointed rooms. Everything is as it should be. A very enjoyable stay! Oh, and dog friendly. My dog is very relaxed and mellow here. UPDATE: I completed my stay and can't say enough about this place. Great people and excellent accommodations.

I am very surprised that this hotel was AMAZING i heard some bad reviews but no, the front desk man was very nice and made us feel very welcome, although he was a bit slow in finding our reservation but that’s completely okay!! Our rooms were very clean. The next morning we came for breakfast the food was AMAZING and tasted very good. Surprisingly the eggs tasted good, because not all hotel eggs taste the best but they were so good!! The man who was working in breakfast there killed it! He was so nice offered us some FRESH baked potatoes and was super duper nice. Overall I would love to come back to this hotel again!!

From the moment we walked in the door until we checked out, our visit was superb. We were greeted and acknowledged our honors status. Our room was given a complimentary upgrade to a quiet floor so we would not be inconvenienced by the noise of several baseball teams staying at the hotel. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The gentleman in charge asked if he could be of assistance and pointed out several breakfast options, including the egg white omelette. Our room was very clean, and we were comfortable for our whole stay. We had purchased chocolates and as we were checking out mentioned the would be in a hot car while we watched basketball games. The front desk offered to keep them in their refrigerator, and that we could stop in and pick them up on our way out of town. That is service above and beyond what is expected. Based on our experience I would definitely stay here again!

Was greeted by a young man who was very friendly and helpful!! The room was clean the staff were welcoming and helpful during the breakfast and upon arrival and departure!! We would stay here again! Price was also affordable, and we were able to get a one night stay within a couple of hours upon arrival on Good Friday.

We spoke with the front desk and have had not an ounce of satisfaction as “Amber” informed both my husband and myself that the management is unavailable on the weekends. I specifically asked to speak to the General Manager, I was only given her name as Kim. Unfortunately, I have to address this with you. We came in after an event around 9pm last night. I went to get into the shower and found the soap dishes had used soap that apparently belonged to a previous guest. Immediately my fear was what else has been neglected in this room? We could not find the remote to the tv until this morning under the couch. The sheets were not on the bed and the comforter (dirty). We did call the front desk immediately and there was not another room to be had. Good for business, but not for us as guests. The world is just opening up after being shut down from Covid. Why would a hotel let their guard down so much? I agree it’s hard to find employees, yet some accountability should be in place. Don’t employ someone that’s short sheets (literally) your reputation. Nothing being done in regards to our dissatisfaction is not good business. We also rented Room 423. I found that room to be cleaner.

The staff was pleasant and room was clean. Only complaint that I have is that this is the first Hampton I’ve been to that does not offer complimentary water upon arrival for Silver Tier members. Instead they charge $3 per bottle. I saw another guest complaining about this too. If management reads this, it’s not a good way to make your guests feel appreciated.

Great hotel! Clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was awesome, so many choices. The only negative we the pool heater was broke, the hot tub wasn’t even filled, and it was crazy hot in the pool room. So if you’re not going to swim, definitely recommend!

After a night of scrambling to find a safe and comfortable hotel in the middle of a long road trip, we were thankful to have a great experience at this Hampton Inn. We felt safe in this location while parking out Penske moving truck overnight. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was the best way to start the day while traveling. Overall we had a great experience here.

I love this hotel, my family and I enjoy coming here, for us to go to another hotel is because this one is full, the service, cleanliness, tranquility, pool, it is definitely a hotel to enjoy even for one night only because its beds are comfortable I recommend them 100%. Keep giving such a good service 🥰

Been traveling a lot and don’t usually write these, but I had to say something here. This Hampton Inn has a fantastic feel the minute you walk in the door. Spotless, spacious and everything on point. RJ and Dennis make the best breakfast I’ve seen, and RJ graciously took the time to stop and chat with me despite the fact that he was pretty busy (give the man a promotion 👍🏻). If you fix the hot tub I might just move in 😜

I was part of a wedding party and nothing had been communicated with me about hotel until very last minute. Laurel was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to stay here with the rest of the wedding party. I was very stressed with all the last minute things and miscommunications, but she made this part of it very easy. Room, location, and amenities are all great here too.

Super friendly front desk girl, check in was smooth. Rooms were clean and breakfast wasn’t too bad at all! Had hot and cold options. Would recommend

I honestly feel like giving this place even one star is generous. For starters, the cleanliness of the hotel was subpar. Although when you first walk into the room it looks clean, after attempting to settle in you start to see greater issues. The bathrooms were overall horrible. Dirty curtains and unclean floors. The bed were uncomfy, and when we noticed that the bed sheets werent cleaned as to where we felt safe enough to stay, they told us that they couldnt offer housekeeping until we left even though we were scheduled for a two day stay. I wouldnt be as disappointed if the prices were cheaper, but because some big event was coincidentally happening im Omaha, the jumped their prices to $400 for the room we stayed in. Most definitely not worth it.

We stayed here with our two granddaughters and spent two days at the zoo. Our room was clean and the staff was awesome. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices. The breakfast chef was wonderful. We will be back.

Every time I go to this hotel they NEVER have had the swimming pool and hot tub working VERY DISAPPOINTED. My daughter lives here in Omaha and I will never stay here again. We will be going to BEST WESTERN!

Over priced. We were very frustrated. We booked with plans to celebrate our son's birthday in the pool. Pool was closed (price did not reflect limited amenities) and there was no mention of this at reservation. Kids were disappointed. Customer service could also use improvement.
