Extended
Stay
Omaha
review
I
am
a
travelling
worker.
I
travelled
for
work
AND
STAYED
HERE
October
-November
2021.
I
am
not
one
to
leave
negative
reviews
but
the
treatment
I
received
from
Jamie
Hood
must
be
told
to
the
public.
I
work
nights.
My
background
check
is
clear.
I
have
been
in
my
career
for
15
years.
I
am
quiet,
well
poised,
well-
mannered,
and
keep
to
myself.
Well,
that
should
not
matter.
I
booked
online
and
drove
20
hours
to
come
for
work.
When
I
arrived,
I
was
told
that
the
room
was
not
available
anymore
and
they
had
another
one
available,
and
it
cost
$10
more
per
night.
“Okay,
that’s
fine,
I’ll
take
it.”
The
first
time
I
encountered
Jamie
Hood
was
a
week
into
my
stay.
She
came
in
tow
with
housekeeping,
and
I
was
surprised
because
in
all
my
10
years
of
staying
in
hotels
when
travelling
for
work,
I
have
never
seen
a
manager
come
in
with
housekeeping.
I
informed
the
housekeeper
that
my
room
was
clean,
and
I
had
cleaned
and
vacuumed
my
room
with
my
personal
vacuum.
Jamie
Hood
then
told
me
I
had
to
leave
the
room
so
housekeeping
could
clean.
So,
I
stepped
outside,
and
let
the
housekeeping
clean.
The
Hispanic
lady
just
looked
at
me
and
said,
“your
room
is
clean,
would
you
like
fresh
towels?”
Anyways,
I
stayed
there
for
29
nights
and
then
Jamie
told
me
that
the
room
was
no
longer
available,
and
I
would
have
to
check
out
and
move
into
another
room.
When
I
asked
her
if
the
rates
would
stay
the
same,
she
stated,
“maybe.”
In
Omaha
if
you
stay
for
30
nights
or
more,
the
taxes
you
paid
during
your
stay
are
automatically
refunded
to
you.
I
strongly
think
Jamie
Hood
started
this
chaos
so
she
would
not
refund
the
taxes
paid.
Anyways,
I
asked
her
if
there
was
another
room
available
and
I
was
okay
with
paying
for
one
extra
night
in
the
room
so
that
I
could
move
my
things
instead
of
putting
them
in
my
car
and
then
moving
them
back
into
the
new
hotel
room.
She
told
me
there
was
nothing
she
could
do,
the
only
thing
I
could
do
was
check
out.
So,
I
checked
out
at
11.
I
left
the
things
in
my
car
and
slept
in
my
car
from
11am-3pm
since
I
work
nights
7PM-7AM.
I
had
informed
Jamie
Hood
that
I
worked
nights
and
this
move
would
greatly
affect
me
since
I
worked
nights
and
would
not
get
enough
sleep.
At
3
pm,
I
walked
in
to
check
in
and
Mia
was
at
the
front
desk.
I
was
then
informed
that
the
room
I
had
booked
was
no
longer
available
(you
see
a
trend
here?)
and
there
was
an
upgrade
for
$15.
Jamie
was
sitting
in
the
back
watching
Mia.
I
informed
Mia
that
Jamie
had
agreed
to
keep
the
rate
the
same
and
I
was
informed
that
was
not
the
case
and
the
only
option
was
a
room
that
cost
an
additional
$15.
So,
I
agreed
to
that
since
I
had
to
work
in
4
hours,
and
I
was
not
about
to
drive
around
looking
for
accommodation.
The
next
day,
I
heard
Jamie’s
voice
knocking
on
the
door
saying
“housekeeping.”
I
wondered
what
housekeeping
was
doing
here
since
I
moved
in
yesterday
and
the
room
was
clean.
Jamie
then
tried
to
open
the
door
forcefully,
but
I
had
a
latch
on.
Afterwards,
my
card
kept
getting
deactivated
and
I
had
to
go
to
the
front
desk
to
get
a
new
one
issued.
The
third
time
my
card
got
deactivated
was
at
5
am
when
I
woke
up
to
go
do
laundry.
I
then
went
to
the
front
desk
to
get
a
new
one
as
I
was
locked
out
of
my
room.
The
front
desk
lady
than
called
a
number
and
said,
“room
103
is
at
the
front.”
I
wondered
why
she
called
a
number
instead
of
just
issuing
me
a
card.
So,
I
was
informed
by
the
front
desk
lady
that
Jamie
Hood
had
informed
them
if
I
come
to
the
front
desk,
she
is
to
be
called.
The
front
desk
lady,
whose
name
won’t
be
mentioned
for
obvious
reasons
then
told
me,
“I
don’t
know
why
I
am
telling
you
this,
Jamie
does
not
want
you
here.
She
will
do
everything
in
her
power
and
will
even
call
the
cops
on
you.”
So,
I
thanked
the
lady
and
told
her
I
would
be
checking
out
at
11
am
that
day
since
I
did
not
feel
safe
staying
there
anymore.
She
made
a
note
on
my
account
that
I
would
be
checking
out.
