Went her for just the day we did not have a hotel room. First it was incredibly expensive to get into. Me and my husband paid 40 a person just to get in on a Saturday. The water park itself is really geared towards children and had only a couple of things for adults or older children. The water slides were a lot of fun as was the lazy river. Although the lazy river has some big chunks missing in the floor and my husband cut his toe pretty good. We were with my husband's family and they had small children there that did really enjoy themselves. The water its self was quite cold though and we had to take the kids out to warm up a couple of times. The food available was good and reasonably priced. They even had vegetarian options. I found the locker rooms a bit small for as many people as there were for a Saturday. Overall I thought this was extremely over priced for what it was. Definitely book a room or get discounted tickets otherwise it's not worth the money.

Dirty, lies, the worse hotel I've ever stayed in and I travel the US. I've stayed in 2 star hotels better than this place. If the Ramada was smart they'd ditch this place because I've stayed in amazing Ramada before like the one in Columbus. I will never stay in this hotel again. First room wasn't cleaned told several times it would be clean. Nope so at like 930 finally moved room asked for more blankets for the kids said they would bring g them up nope that didn't happen

First of all we had a charge to our room that was supposedly a hold for damages just in case said the manager. Come to find out when we got our bill its was $150 in upgrade charges they added!! The floors in the hallways were dirty. Kids running up & down the halls yelling at 3 am. Someone else had access to our room 1 the drawers were all open the first time we were there thank goodness only our change of clothes to the water park were in there the first time. 2nd time our bags were gone through and door was left open.

We're locals, so we've been here a few times over the years. That being said, several changes have taken place over the years. One, the arcade has really taken off, and is actually a really neat place for the kiddos to go - if you don't mind spending an arm and a leg. Two, it's true, that the water park itself has gotten a bit run down over the years, it was easily noticed when we walked in. I don't think visitors to the hotel would notice as easily upon first glance though. You can see a few spots in the walls where it apparently needs some TLC and the bottom of the lazy river, has some serious chunks out of it. Overall, it could be worse, but it definitely has been better. Three, I did see several previous reviewers mention the chlorine. I will say this, we were there for probably close to six hours and my throat began to burn from the amount of it in just the air. After being home for several hours my nose is still burning. Four, the staff....On the phone several weeks back, they were extremely lackluster and very unhelpful. Today though, they were great! My one son fell and cut his knee open and scratched his ankle up good coming off of one slide. The folks behind the first aid area were awesome, but it didn't escape my attention that they both knew exactly which slide he'd slipped getting out of before we told them. So, I think this must be a regular occurrence. I did notice that the 'restaurant' staff was extremely short handed for the amount of folks present, only two on staff. Other than that, the entire staff from the front desk gals to the life guards were great. Five, I did have to agree with some previous reviewers who expresses concern over the alarming lack of life guards on hand. Back in the day, there was one for every exit to the lazy river, two for the big slides - one to allow kids up, and one at the exit of the pool, and one or two walking the Splashground area. The day we visited the kiddie pool was closed for remodeling, but there would've been one or two there as well. Today though, there was one at the slides, and one at the basketball pool area and they weren't even there the entire time. That was a little concerning considering the amount of people that began to crowd the lazy river, and pool area. Overall, it was a pretty good trip, and we plan to go back.

The pool area is nice you gotta pay to go though. Beds were hard, room was small and we paid online got a confirmation and everything when we went to check in the lady was so rude. We had to pay again at the front desk because our reservation wasn't there. Aside from the check in lady the staff is nice. Mold by the bathtub and toilet seat slide when you sat down. Its quiet though which was nice

My stay was so-so. Yes, my family had a good time eating and watching TV, there were stains on the bed, which is disgusting if I’m going to sleep in it. (Looked like period blood to me.) The sink in the bathroom was clogged, as was the shower. I had to stand in the dirt I washed off myself while I was in there. The bathroom stunk. The heater in my opinion didn’t really heat up the room. The staff got our room wrong in the beginning, my father had come prior to when we arrived to make sure it was correct, yet the room still wasn’t ready. It took about a half an hour for them to clean and get us into the room. It was professionally handled though. The room floor wasn’t clean, things were slid under the beds.

Rooms were clean, tiny bathrooms, hallways smelled like weed and lots of shady activity in the tower part of hotel. The Waterpark was nice but run really bad, kids were fighting, no one was watching slides, kids were going down slides in groups and crashing into each other at the bottom. Basically who ever is responsible for the employee's at the park needs to either be let go or they need to find better employee's.

So my family and I have stayed here a few times and it wasn't to bad. Price was cheap and no issues. This last weekend was awful Good luck trying g to reach anyone at the front desk. They won't pick up. They were out of towles the pool was short staffed. They didn't hardly have tubes. The ice machine was broke. Couldn't check in until 7PM. Drain in shower wouldn't work ac did not work. Parked right in front and car got broke into. Wouldn't recommend ever stay there again.

Can’t even give this place any stars! We had planned to have a fun day at Coco Keys for my daughters birthday & it was the complete opposite. We had checked in around 12:11 that day. Got in, got changed & went to play. Let’s just say we left at 1:30! There were no parents watching their children - my children ended up getting cut in line for the slides, multiple children pushing my children out of the way & we ended the day with my daughter (the birthday girl) getting pushed down the slide & come out with a blood gushing nose. On top of it all, NONE of the management or workers felt any sympathy & none of them wanted to do anything about it. I spent $100+ for not even a half hour of play. NEVER AGAIN!

Decided to bring my son and his friend for a nice weekend of swimming. Hotel was awesome with a very clean and big room. Once we hit the park, it was pretty big and looked great! The kids loved it and I thought it was very fun. We stayed here all day and not once did he kids lose interest. The food area could be a bit bigger but the food itself wasn't bad. Lockers were a huge plus. Nice and humid! I didn't like the strong smell of chlorine but you'll soon forget it's there. Will definitely be here again!!!

Well first room didn't have the pull out like it was supposed to and the smell was horrible and just see my pictures of the locks. Second room remote doesn't work, no sheets for pull out and seeing the mattress just yuck, can hear everything from lobby which is huge and very nice. Ac unit on wall dirty and old heater fake fireplace for heat. Rooms just feel barely cleaned. Staff friendly and definitely helped try and fix the issues that they could (not the remote tho) but we checked out a day early to stay at a different nearby hotel for alot cheaper and clean just not worth the price we paid compared to other nearby hotels for the weekend we booked. The room definitely didn't fit the pictures when I booked either.

rude staff, smelly rooms, broken toilet seat and week old Chinese food in the microwave. we will never be staying there again. not to mention the water park wasn't working. The water park is not free or discounted for hotel patrons this was not advertised on booking. They did offer to move us rooms but the new room keys we got were not programmed. we asked for extra towels on arriving and were told to come back later. overall my worst hotel experience even for a 3 star hotel.

We reserved and requested adjoining rooms 3 weeks before staying. When we checked in at 4pm they only had one room available on the 2nd floor and it was NOT an adjoining room. They couldn't guarantee that our 2nd room would even be on the same floor and informed us that the adjoining rooms are first come first serve basis and had all been taken already. 4 hours later our 2nd room was ready and on the 6th floor. This room WAS an adjoining room but we did not get the room it was connected to. By this time we were just ready to settle in after swimming. We did not feel the need to argue it further. My husband would stay with the boys on the 2nd floor and i would stay with the girls on the 6th. I went to the second floor room to help make the pull out bed. As I unfolded it there was very noticeably dog poop pieces (or at least we are hoping it was dog) all over the mattress along with what looked like pee stains. Went to the front desk and talked to the manager. We stayed calm and polite although I was so frustrated and sickened at the filth of the place. He moved our room to the adjoining room on the 6th floor after realizing it was empty. Finally at 11pm we were able to put our 6 kids to bed. No discount and not even an "I'm sorry" The hotel was filthy and swim area very unsanitary. We will not be going back!

We went on January 5, 2019. My kids had fun, but the water was too cold. We went previously in April of 2018. During that visit, the water temperature was perfect. We never wanted to leave the lazy river. This visit the temperature was more like a lap pool. It's fine if you are swimming, but too cold for floating. My oldest asked to leave because he was cold. I hope they fix the temperature. We loved our visit in April.

I am giving the staff 5 stars, very accommodating and helpful. Our family suite was very nice size. But wouldn't say it would sleep 8 as I was told. The room had 2 comfortable 2 queen size beds. The hideaway couch and chairs needs replaced as it was in such bad shape as in dirty and worn the goodwill wouldn't take it. It actually looked as if they dumpster dived for it. The price I paid for the room should have newer furniture. Over all cleanliness was okay. Nice hot water, however the tub drained very slow and took over 3 hours to drain. The continental breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from. Didn't see any bedbugs.

The water park was good. I have two kids ages 8 and 10 and they really enjoyed it. Another plus is adults who aren’t swimming don’t have to pay. The hotel on the other hand was unfortunately not nice. Our room looked nothing like The photos online. Our room was very dark and it smelled. The furniture was very old looking, I don’t even think there was a headboard. The only reason this is getting two stars is the water park. I would not recommend this hotel.

We just stayed the weekend of 02/16/19-02/18/19. The doors leading to the outdoors are very close to the water park doors and whenever someone opens the door to get into the water park, a huge gust (imagine a wind tunnel) of cold air comes in with them. Multiply that by 100+ people coming in and out and the air temp in the water park gets very cold...very fast. The water temp was also VERY cold that first day. My kids made it about 3 hours in there on the first day before lips turning purple and uncontrollably shivering and wanting to leave. We had arrived about 1:45 pm. It was also quite crowded and there were toddlers and all age children in the hot tub, when the sign specifically states that the hot tub is for ages 16 and over. A lifeguard came and made the little ones sit at the edge of the hot tub with their feet/lower legs being allowed in the water, but they were still taking up the spaces that other ADULTS could have used. It was way too crowded with all of the kids and adults in there, so my husband and I couldn't even use it while our kids were in the water park. The next day (02/17) was much better. We arrived at 10 am from our hotel room at the Ramada Plaza and the water/air temps were better and the crowds were gone, and our kids stayed and played for 6 hours. My husband and I were so looking forward to finally being able to use the hot tub now that the crowds were gone, only walk over to the area and see a bunch of signs stating that it was out of order, so we didn't get to use it during our entire stay!!! ***Definitely get the "Splash Pack" if you have 4+ people in your party. It is available to purchase online only. Just google it. It is $50 and good for 4 single day entries. Otherwise, if you purchase at the water park, the tickets are $20 each ($10 after 4 pm).*** We are a family of 5 and bought 2 Splash Packs for our 2 days stay and saved ourselves $60 by going this route. Food at the Grab and Go restaurant in the water park was decent and fairly priced and was prepared quickly, which we appreciated.

It was a struggle to hit 3 and not 2 stars. First let's say either the front desk was having a bad day or just not friendly always. It put me in a bad mood for the night at how rude they were. I suppose I never thought about the noise. There were people being loud downstairs until 1am. So be aware. The bed was super bouncy but comfy and soft so that is what gave the hotel a 3 stars. I did like the fireplace for heat.

The hotel is nice = the room was nice and clean, the air conditioner worked well, the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a small balcony, which was nice. The staff were all nice and helpful. Of the five floors in the hotel, only one had a working ice machine. My biggest negative towards the room was the curtains were not very good. They let in the light at night and even worse in the morning. Even though we were right outside the elevators, it was still quiet in the room.

Coco Key Resort has been advertising on all the social media so we decided to give it a try. No time during making the reservation did anyone say the indoor water park was permanently closed. After driving to Omaha from Phoenix AZ we arrived at the resort to find an almost condemned building. My husband went in to check us in for them to tell us the water park is permanently closed. Since we already paid we decided to stay. After getting our luggage heading to our room we were pretty disgusting by the dirty elevator, nasty dirty carpet in the hall, and the dirty room. The comforter has stains on it and room has a smell. No wonder the hotel looks condemned. You would think with COVID they would do better at cleaning and keeping the stuff clean. Hopefully they clean this property up.

Awful Stay - Beware they charge your card multiple times then won't refund. I made a reservation over the phone and when we got there they said they couldn't find it. I even had the e-mail confirmation number and they said they couldn't find it. I checked my cc and there were not pending charges so I went ahead and let them book us a new room. By the next morning I had two charges on my cc and they said when checking me out that they couldn't refund me because a manager was not there. They took my name down and said they'd call me the next day. I called in the next day at 8:30 (they like to pick up the phone and say "please hold" and then put you on hold for 20 plus minutes before picking back up) and when I told them I needed to talk to a supervisor about it, they said, "I'm sorry they don't come in until 9:30-10. but I can take your name and number and they can call you" well the day went by and no call. I called again before 5 and they transferred me this time to the "supervisor" and I went to a voicemail. Called again the next day same routine, transferred finally and went to another voicemail. I finally just went through my CC company and disputed the charges. The pool/splash pad area is dirty, dirty, dirty, nasty. We were there less than two hours and never saw a single staff member cleaning an area. We left when someone's kid had pooped on the floor and it was left there. If you go wear shoes. The lazy river had very few flotation devices and most were under-inflated. The room's beds are pretty firm, pillows are lumpy and small. The bathroom shower had mold in the corners. The towels are awful. They are the size of our bath mat at home and are see-through from being used so often. The shampoo you get smells awful and you get one tiny bottle. Pretty much just an awful experience all around.

I'm not one to write a review or even complain much. But I will surely not stay here again. I booked a jacuzzi suit and when I got here they apparently didn't have any left. When we got to our room, there was no extra blankets or pillows for the hide-a-bed. We go to swim, and when we are done, there is a 40 minute wait on clean towels. We get back to our room and try to order food but can't get a hold of any one at the bar and grill for 45 minutes (literally, they just didn't answer the phone) so my husband ended up going down stairs to order and pick up the food.
