2/5 Jessica P. 1 year ago on Google
was
SO
excited
to
stay
at
this
hotel…but
the
literal
minute
I
checked
in,
my
excitement
turned
to
frustration
and
it
only
got
worse!
I
will
start
with
negatives
first,
then
move
on
to
positives.
NEGATIVES:
I
was
informed
at
check
in
that
their
room
key
system
was
down
and
would
“hopefully”
be
fixed
by
the
next
day.
The
front
desk
had
to
follow
us
to
our
room
every
single
time
we
needed
in.
This
caused
a
LOT
of
frustration
on
my
end,
because
I
have
a
younger
daughter
that
doesn’t
like
being
cooped
up
in
a
room
for
long
periods
of
time.
We
also
had
to
have
them
let
us
in
the
pool
every
time
we
went
as
well,
since
we
didn’t
have
a
room
key.
Needless
to
say,
we
stayed
3
days
and
never
had
a
room
key
the
entire
time.
Because
of
this
issue,
there
were
times
we
waited
15-20
minutes
at
the
desk
waiting
for
the
staff
to
return
and
take
us
to
our
room.
On
top
of
this,
some
of
the
staff
was
extremely
rude
about
having
to
take
us
to
our
room
each
time.
There
was
also
one
instance
where
my
family
heard
staff
fighting
about
how
it
was
“bs”
that
they
had
to
walk
everyone
to
their
rooms.
The
pool
was
green-looking
and
was
so
chlorinated
that
our
hair
was
damaged
and
eyes
burning
for
days
after
swimming.
Someone
was
smoking
pot
in
our
hallway…and
the
staff
shrugged
it
off.
As
far
as
the
room
itself
goes,
there
wasn’t
too
much
negative.
We
found
a
couple
cob
webs
in
the
upper
corners
and
the
tile
floors
in
the
kitchenette
and
bathroom
were
sticky
enough
for
our
shoes
to
continuously
make
dirt
prints
and
have
that
nasty
sticky
sound
as
you’re
walking
on
them.
We
ended
up
just
cleaning
them
with
a
towel
and
water
on
our
first
night
to
get
the
sticky
off.
Last
negative
thing
I’ll
say
was
that
upon
checkout,
when
confronted
with
these
things,
the
lady
at
the
front
desk
rolled
her
eyes
and
said
“sorry
about
that.”
And
stated
that
she
could
not
offer
any
kind
of
remedy
to
make
it
right.
POSITIVES:
I
will
say
that
a
couple
of
the
staff
members
were
absolutely
fantastic.
The
woman
that
checked
us
in
was
glorious
and
offered
a
lot
of
kind
words
and
encouragement
on
the
room
key
situation.
The
breakfast
wasn’t
fantastic,
but
it
was
good.
There
was
cereal,
yogurt,
biscuits
and
gravy,
breakfast
sandwiches,
omelets,
toast,
bagels,
waffles,
oatmeal,
muffins,
and
an
assortment
of
drinks
as
well
as
a
24/7
coffee
bar.
They
had
apples
on
the
desk
to
take
whenever
needed
and
provided
snacks
and
water
on
check
in
for
Hilton
rewards
members.
Nice
outdoor
seating
area
with
fire
pit
they
light
every
night.
Smoking
areas
for
those
that
need
that.
Their
lobby
was
clean
and
modern.
The
room
we
stayed
in
was
well
stocked
all
around
with
plenty
of
dishes,
utensils,
etc
in
the
kitchenette.
The
pull-out
couch
bed
was
extremely
comfortable-probably
more
so
than
the
actual
bed.
Overall,
I
think
that
if
I
were
to
ever
stay
here
again,
I’d
want
it
in
writing
that
I
would
be
somehow
compensated
for
downfalls
on
the
hotels
part
rather
than
getting
to
the
front
desk
and
being
told
“sorry,
we
can’t
do
anything
for
you”.
I
also
think
I’d
consider
other
hotels
with
pools
over
this
one
just
because
one
of
the
main
reasons
we
chose
this
one
was
because
of
the
pool
and
the
later
pool
access
hours
offered.
For
almost
200$
a
night,
I
expected
more,
but
maybe
I’m
being
too
harsh.
I
am
a
little
spoiled
when
it
comes
to
hotels
as
my
family
usually
stays
at
embassy
suites
or
something
similar…but
for
this
trip
we
tried
to
keep
housing
costs
lower
because
of
our
expensive
vacation
activities.
