Loved loved loved the food at Le Bouillon. My favorite dish was the fresh onion soup. There was a different flare to the soup. It added an extra flavor to the dish but still kept it traditional. I will be back just for the soup. We also enjoyed the stuff duck, which was amazing. The skin was crispy and stuffed with sauage. Yum. The last dish was the Morgan Ranch Strip. A lot of flavor and cooked to perfection. A wonderful experience overall and the staffing was extremely nice. My favorite part was the wine store connected to the restaurant. You can buy a bottle and just pay the cork fee.

Went to a private dinner here the other evening and wasn't sure what to expect. Wow! Did they know their stuff! They clearly love food and wine and care about the preservation of the Old Market as well as historical facts and the arts! I am not a wine fan but I finished each glass and enjoyed them all. Dinner was also flawless! Would highly recommend!

Stopped here for dinner before a show at the Orpheum. It was a weekday so not busy at all, service was excellent. Chicken liver PB&J was recommended and didn't disappoint. It's a very unique canape to start the meal with. We also shared a French Onion soup that was tasty but a little saltier than I prefer. I'm not going to fault the restaurant for my preference. Both meals were excellent and we both agreed we would have been happy with either meal. She ordered a hanger steak with root vegetable au gratin which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The root vegetable au gratin was extra tasty! Chicken Roulade was almost like comfort food with a garden pea, pearl onion, cabbage & pancetta gravy. We were both too full for dessert but enjoyed an espresso after the meal. While not our favorite French restaurant in town, we definitely left happy.

The steak tartare was to die for, and don't pass on the duck. I truly enjoyed picking out a bottle of wine next door that was reasonably priced that paired perfect with our meal.

My wife and I got married here. We rented out their wine room and had a small ceremony in it. The entire affair turned out magnificently. Aaron was the manager the night of and made sure everything went as planned. MacKenzie was our server and she did an amazing job, she was very friendly and extremely attentive. Lastly, I cannot rave on Paul enough as the chef. We had a 5 course meal arranged for after the wedding and he absolutely went over the top. I cannot recommend this place enough, not only for private events like ours, but just in general. The food, the service...everything was amazing. We will be going back without a doubt.

This is by far the best restaurant in Nebraska. Any time I see a more upscale restaurant around here I'm scared it's going to be another burger joint or steakhouse with decor inspired by a repurposed barn. Le Bouillon is none of that, and actually seems like it's trying to say something rather than assimilate. It puts in some fantastic menu diversity with a lot of great spices and flavors. The actual building is lovely, and the bar/lounge area is very atmospheric. Go here and really spend some time.

We visited this restaurant this past weekend and absolutely LOVED it! It’s a good place for small plates so we did a little night cap our first night and knew we’d be coming back. Our second day, we grabbed lunch with friends when we tried the meat and cheese plate (incredible!!) and the oysters. The only bad thing I had to say about this day was that the oysters aren’t the best in the old market, still good but small. And our last morning we came and got the Kaiserschmarnn which taste like a delicious mix between French toast and pancakes. They are TO DIE FOR! But so is the eggs Benedict which comes with these tasty dill roasted potatoes. We had mimosas which tasted like they had fresh squeezed orange juice mixed with the champagne which were also great. This is a great place to stop even if it’s just for drinks and an appetizer and we will definitely be back!!

Food was good. Unique cocktails. 4 people w wine/cocktail came to $260 before tip. Charcuterie plate with local meat & cheeses were excellent at $25. Duck PB&J was excellent. Waiter (Anthony) was horribly impersonal on the verge of rude to us, and made the dining experience not fun (Other staff were better). For the first evening experience in Omaha, it left a sour taste/impression of people of Omaha. Go there at your own peril.

My daughter recently had her wedding reception at Le Bouillon. To say it was an overwhelming success would be an understatement. The space was elegant, classy, and romantic and accommodated our 100 guests perfectly! And of course the food! Everything and more that we’ve come to expect from Le Bouillon! The wine pairings and bar service was the perfect accompaniments. We were able to hold a dance in the “mirror” room which allowed guests that preferred to visit longer, a more quiet space for conversation. The staff was phenomenal and seamless in their service. Katie, the event coordinator, was magnificent! My Bride and Grooms vision was EXCEEDED! Most important, I was able to sit back, enjoy the moment, and soak in all the memories of this carefree and STRESSFREE evening! My hats off to all the professionals at Le bouillon!

If you are looking for a wedding venue that is beautiful with delicious food, look no further. We had our wedding at Le Bouillon and it was perfect. Everyone loved the food, the space was gorgeous, and Katie, the restaurant’s event coordinator, did a phenomenal job of having the day go seamlessly. Not to mention, the restaurant did a great job of helping us to incorporate some multicultural elements that were important to us. I would recommend it to anyone - we had an amazing time!

We recently had our wedding at Le Bouillon and I can’t recommend it enough! We bought out the entire restaurant for our wedding but I know that there are other options for smaller parties. We were able to have both our ceremony and reception at the restaurant, which was important to us when we were looking for a venue. They have a dedicated event coordinator, Katie, who is wonderful to work with. We met with her in person several times to discuss our event and exchanged many an email. Katie is super organized, super knowledgeable, and is on site on the day of your event to make sure everything runs smoothly. We chose three entrees to serve and they were even able to make a vegan entree to accommodate some of our guests. Their sommelier recommended wines to us about a week before our wedding to compliment our menu. We got so many compliments about how good the food was, and it really was delicious. One of our guests even told us it was the best steak he ever had. Le Bouillon also did all of our desserts, which were equally as delicious. The servers and bartenders were incredibly friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is beautiful and doesn’t need a lot of decorations. Overall, we loved our day and there’s not a thing I would change about our day.

Who would expect an incredible French meal in Omaha?! But this place delivered just that. The seating was tight, too tight. Most of the tables for four were barely bigger than traditional 2-tops, and when your group are all over six-feet tall, a long meal becomes quite uncomfortable. Good thing the food is worth it. Cocktails took some time to get, but it's because each one is hand-crafted; the result was pure deliciousness. Started with the Mixed Meat & Cheese platter, which was the perfect beginning for a small group. While others had salads, one had the French Onion Soup, which was deemed very good but not all that better than other restaurants. I had the Green Gazpacho (mint and lump crab salad). I would have ordered a second bowl and probably a third if I hadn't wanted to try other stuff. Friends who tried the Bouillon Burger said it was hands down the best burger they've ever eaten. The Chicken & Crepes were huge! There was enough to satisfy the appetite and take home a small box. Our dinners were so filling, we didn't have room for dessert.

I passed by Omaha and just want a place to have a late lunch. I choose Le Bouliion by Google and wasn't disappointed! It was very delicious meal. Chef was so nice and agreed to switch sauce on my duck from peppercorn I don't like to tarragon. It was amazing and pleasant experience! The restaurant is very welcoming and friendly and the food meet the greatest standards! I will definitely be back and recommend you to try Le Bouliion too!

Three out of five dishes were salty. The duck, the French onion soup, the rotisserie chicken were incredibly salty. We had to send the duck back, it was too much. The mussels were okay but I’ve had better. The red and white wine selection provided by our wonderful server, Robert were excellent. We even bought one of the bottles to take home. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant

Had an amazing meal on Friday! Love that you can walk around and actually look at the wine and pick out what you want. The system they have set up makes it less expensive and gives you a chance to try new things. The service was great & the caviar with the chips…amazing.

Our intimate wedding ceremony and romantic dinner for two went BEAUTIFULLY. We were very well attended to by everyone there and the atmosphere was so romantic 🤍 I can not rave enough about the food and drinks! We will always cherish this special place in Omaha!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Le Bouillon and could not be happier with our choice! Katie, our event manager at Le Bouillon, was nothing short of amazing through the whole planning process and was incredibly supportive and accommodating to make our day as special as possible. As our favorite restaurant in Omaha, we were so excited to have our friends and family experience the intimate atmosphere and fine dining Le Bouillon offers. Our event size was around 100 people and all the staff went above and beyond to attend to our party. Words cannot express our love of the food and the quality of the service that Le Bouillon delivered to us and our guests. Our wedding evening will be one of our fondest memories thanks to Le Bouillon. Photographer: Victoria Petersen Photography

I went here with my family for a quick brunch, nothing ridiculous. we walked in and our orders were taken within 10 minutes and order eggs, bread, and bacon. we did not get our food for another hour. We saw our waitress once and that was when she took our order. after it took an hour for our food to come out, my family and I were incredibly disappointed. the eggs were cold, the bacon was extremely fatty and the bread was stale. if you want to go to a brunch place and actually enjoy your meal, I do not recommend this place. The price does NOT match the food.

This was a very good restaurant. The rotisserie chicken had a wonderful buttery quality to it. There was someone on the corner playing music. And of course, what could be better than creme brulee?

Short ribs were 75 Percent fat. Mashed Potatoes were not good… consistency bad and the gravy was just not good. Raclette was ok. Service was very slow and all the staff were distant and pretty unfriendly… definitely a French experience. Wine service was very slow

Stopped in for a drink in between a wedding and the reception. The atmosphere is amazing, great history and art along with some strong drinks. We'll be back to try the food.

We celebrated this beautiful couples memorable evening at this establishment. Our dinner choices were Duck, Steak, and Chicken (I requested chicken). The manager made sure everything was taken care of as she was involved in every detail of our evening and our bartender was AMAZING! He made sure our glasses were never empty. Every time I saw them taking care of the guests, they always had a genuine smile. I think they had as much as much of a good time as we did. ☺️ Thank You for your professionalism, attention, and most of all your caring personalities. Both of you helped make this evening a BEAUTIFUL memory. 🥰

Started with oysters on the half shell. Nice and cold and fresh. We had the hangar steak and eggs and Austrian pancake. Both were very good with generous portions. The pancake very sweet and decadent. The steak was delicious with the hollandaise sauce. Yum. It wasn’t very busy so service was very attentive. Love the ambience of low lighting and walls covered in art and also an interesting sculpture piece sitting at the end of the room.

Good vibes good wine and a fancy feel. Feels high-class from the moment you walk in. The service is prompt and good they have high quality food it seemed but I was a little disappointed with my meal. I ordered the Weiner schnitzel and it was dry enough I wanted a sauce. It's very nitpicky but I felt for a 30 dollar entree I would have expected it to be pounded thinner, with a good sauce. The salmon my wife ordered was wonderful though so I'd recommend here but not the schnitzel.

The food and staff are fantastic. You can tell they pay attention to their ingredients and how to blend the flavors. I highly recommend for food and cocktails. Even their bread plate goes above and beyond.

Actually, a bit of hit and miss this past Christmas Eve brunch. We were a large party, 13 of us, so that presents a challenge in itself. Peter did well as a server, but some of the others who helped serve or clear plates were just plain sloppy, spilling the leftover oyster dregs, for example. Eggs benedict were a hit; baked butter beans a miss. And "mocktails" for the kids at five bucks a pop. C'mon. This has been a family holiday brunch tradition from the days when Le Bouillon was called the French Cafe (or something like that). Maybe we need to start a new tradition in a new venue.

One of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. Great service and mainly terrific food. The duck frites were the best version of steak frites I’ve had- and I’ve had it all over the world (including Paris).

The food was amazing we went as a party of six with reservations and all of us loved are food my dad was a chef and server at 5 star hotels and he was delighted. I wasn't feeling good as we had gotten of of a long road trip but the waitress was offering me teas and coffee. The waitress was extremely amazing she was graceful very very kind and very accommodating.

Omaha is an underrated city that has great restaurants. Le Bouillon is one of them. Service was personal and courteous, the food was fantastic and the way they do wine is pretty interesting. You get up, peruse their wall of wines, pull out a bottle and they claim to only add $10 to the retail price. We did not drink that night, so I can only say it's a cool concept. Cool space, too.
