The atmosphere was great. Clean and well decorated place. Cozy and green. A lot of cute t shirts, post cards, and plants. 🪴 🌱 The coffee one time was good and the other time was ok. The second one was watery and sour. The other times it's been OK. The service was friendly and nice. Their bathroom is cute too.

If you’re looking for the cutest coffee shop with the tastiest coffees and best vibe and atmosphere, look no further! We ordered lattes with their signature brown sugar simple syrup and they were delicious! The 8 oz latte has 2 shots of espresso and the 16 oz has 4 shots! The flavor of espresso is really celebrated here so you won’t find a wall of syrups, just their house-made ones! Which is the biggest sign of a high quality coffee shop in my opinion! The latte art was beautiful and our ‘everything parmesan roll’ was a great accompaniment to our coffees It was so fun perusing the beautiful selection of plants they had in store as well! Overall an amazing stop as we were in town! Should we find ourselves in Omaha again we will most certainly be back for another coffee!

This coffee shop and plant store in downtown Omaha is super spacious and has that hipster vibe. They didn’t have a ton of syrups, so I went for an oat milk (oatly) latte with honey, and I gotta say, I enjoyed it. My friend got their mocha and he said it wasn’t on the sweet side as he expected . The service was really friendly and kind too.

Braids and well-designed, open atmosphere. Staff are attentive to the quality of the coffee as well as the needs of the customer. Coffee is very well priced in particular for its vibrant flavors. We ordered the Costa Rica that they keep a small fresh batch of ready to supply your caffeine and taste bud needs. It had a great profile of fruity, bit of sour while still keeping its nutty coffee taste. Came from out of town not sure what to expect, but can highly recommend these people know what they are doing, and are doing it well.

I had the most delightfully exquisite cup of cold brew that I’ve probably ever enjoyed. I had mine with their house B.S. brown sugar syrup and cream. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and so artfully authentic that I couldn’t help but treat myself to a plant pot, a mug, and some plant decor. All coffee, art, and plant enthusiasts will find something unique and interesting at this little shop. Thank you Bad Seed for a great Omaha send off on my last day of vacation!

Very open and very inviting atmosphere. I tried the Honduran coffee they had on brew this day; it was slightly bitter for my liking, but just a touch of milk went a long way to smooth that out. The botanicals just to the left as you enter are a very cool touch.

I LOVE this place. I tried the salted honey cookie, and a plain cappuccino. The coffee was amazing :) and I’d definitely get the cookie again. The atmosphere was very cute and kind-of eclectic. There was such a cool mixture for decor. I recommend this place to people all the time

Just discovered this place and I’m OBSESSED. Coffee is beyond quality and very reasonably priced. The music is at the perfect volume so you can still hear yourself think. Lots of seating and beautiful plants for sale. This will be my new go to spot when I’m in town!

It is an amazing coffee shop with coffee beans, plants, and bikes* . Love the attitude, very friendly. Not sure if a gentleman is an owner/roaster or barista, but he is knowledgeable and don’t mind sharing… thank you. Coffee here is good… first time to have flat white served in a lot bigger cup than cappuccino. All is good. Always something’s new. Definitely, will revisit when in the neighborhood. Updated: *we revisited the shop 2 weeks ago (Jun 2022), the bike shop is no longer there. The area is turned into an sitting area which is very spacious.

I'm in medical school and I study here all the time. The atmosphere is quite and relaxing, and sometimes there are dogs which makes it even better. The coffee is pour-over, and as a black coffee drinker, it is the best I have found so far in Omaha for the best price. I can't recommend this place enough!

Chill place. Had great Ethiopia Yirgacheffe cappuccinos. The blueberry and chocolate notes were not a lie. So good we had to grab a bag of the beans.

This is an amazing place. Atmosphere all the way down to when you exit is an enjoyable just can't wait to come back experience, and the coffee is well a whole new experience down coffee lane for me, it is so good. Real coffee. Doesn't cost any more than any other coffee place. Customer service is right on. Conversation is good and what a multi-tasker. He's helping two and starting a third and getting it all right. This is my go to coffee shop

Such good coffee! I am definitely more of a light roast coffee girl and this place met my needs. They had pour over coffee ready to go! I'm so glad to find quality coffee, made well, and served with kindness. Good job!

I have been there only once since it is not on my way but they serve good coffee and the barista was very friendly and I could tell he loved his job. (I needed to add this since sometimes staff might be grumpy and it may be a downer)

Great environment with all of the plants AND the smell of coffee. Loved the small gifts available as well- definitely would go back :)

Well, let me tell you about Bad Seed Coffee! It's like the wild child of the coffee world. The cappuccino they serve is so amazing, it's like a caffeinated hug from a unicorn. I swear, one sip and I could hear angels singing...or maybe that was just the barista practicing their high notes in the back. But hey, who needs a morning alarm when you've got Bad Seed's cappuccino to jolt you awake? Just make sure to brace yourself for the caffeine ride of your life! 🦄☕

What a totally awesome cafe. They know coffee and tea and take great care in the preparation of excellent drinks from espresso to pour over to steeping. If you are into coffee, this is the real deal. I had excellent shots pulled for both their beans on hand with clear flavor descriptions. Think a wine bar except coffee. You could not ask for more! Go!

Oh man, I dream about their coffee. I love it so much, that I serve it to my patrons at my bar! From their drip to cold brew to lattes, YUM! Plus, Brenna and Matt are amazing humans and some of the best small business owners I know.

Plant shopping and coffee! Great selection of plants, stuff plants need and cute planty merch in an old brick building. They were expanding when I was last there and are going to be offering a larger soil bar. Awesome service for its urban neighbors and others. Shannon is a delight and a wealth of knowledge. Excited to see it grow, along with its plants!

It's a beautiful coffee shop here in Omaha, I had a latte which was good while reading my book in this quite and cosy place.

Very nice comforting atmosphere. The roasted coffee tastes excellent and the owner was kind enough to offer a sample while I waited for my latte. Definitely a cool place to visit.

This is such a cute spot! Was in Omaha for training and stopped in a couple times for drinks. Matt served us both times and was absolutely wonderful. He was very warm and gave us great suggestions for local places to eat as well. We ended up doing Kitchen Table as one of his suggestions. I also picked up some coffee to go and we nerded out over espresso and extraction times. I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to grab a plant to go since the Nodest Home Plants side was adorable. Would 100% recommend this spot to anyone passing through Omaha.

Being from a city that has good artisan coffee, we were on the hunt for that same atmosphere and quality- and we found it here. Nice shop with plenty of seating and fantastic coffee. The barista was super friendly and knowledgeable, and he made two great drinks (pour over Chemex and a REAL cappuccino). We will be back again!

Bad seeds newly renovated and expanded space is wonderful! They have so many great plants and plant accessories in stock. The staff are all amazing, and their menu is great. I went for the signature drink Sunday. It was really busy but we had no problem ordering and finding a place to sit on their cute little patio.

Meeting Matts team and Shannon was great! Everyone was incredibly friendly and so nice. The coffee was amazing. We had a latte, espresso shot, cold brew, and nitro all of which was amazing! I highly recommend coming by checking them out and if you love plants make sure you talk to Shannon!

Thank you so much for existing 💖 Nodest and Badseed is one of my favorite places on earth. Shannon from @nodesthomeplants has helped me SO MUCH with Plant help and repots. My life in the last few years has been chaos, and exhausting. My plants really give me peace, and when I look at them I can whole heartedly say "wow, I'm happy they exist. They have helped me take care of my bliss and self care". Everytime I go in the shop has immaculate Vibes. I go in and the staff is so friendly and warm. LITERAL LOVE is poured into my cup. The creativity and illumination of the decor really is healing and feels like home. Thank you so much for existing... you are truly a gift. Happy New Year!
