👍 Really neat place: tons of things to try and anesthetically pleasing dishes, good place for random dates or get togethers. The monkey bread muffin was awesome, the toasts were a bit pricy for my taste but also good. Life Aquatic and the Monkey bread drinks were excellent, definitely recommend those. People often mention coffee, great, latte, good, toast, shop, service, atmosphere, drinks, love,

The service here was phenomenal. I'm visiting from vegas on business & LOVE coffee. They have such a cute & diverse menu. Aside from coffee flights they have flights of TOAST! Amazing ! The atmosphere is super chill & friendly . The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that they didn't tell me that if I "check in" on Yelp, I'll receive 20% off my order. So when you go in, make sure to check in! Also, follow me on IG @viewsandmenus

Love Zen coffee! They have a fun variety of regular menu drinks, seasonal drinks, and plenty of snacks! I love the pesto avocado toast. They also have shirts, stickers, and other gift items.

A nice coffee house to get coffee and a good study place. I love the fact that they grind their own coffee beans. They have a merchandise that one can purchase. The layout of the coffee shop is beautiful.

We came with a large group, this was the perfect choice to get the right option for each of us. From coffee (hot/cold), latte, mocha, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade and more. The coffee flights were a fun way to give everything a try. The atmosphere was chill, the service was fantastic and we loved it.

Less of a craft coffee shop and more about novelty and sweet lattes, but still a decent place to go for coffee. Just don't go expecting a proper flat white or other craft coffee items. The space is very quiet and has a fun vibe, a good spot to do homework at. Thank you for your response, I was in no way attempting to disparage your shop, the ambience is great, and you're absolutely right about knowing the market. I would strongly suggest this place to that demographic.

Excellent Belgium waffle latte - wow!! Toast flight is such a great idea & I love the variety and opportunity to try different things. I was a little disappointed in the slow service as my friend didn’t get her food until most of us were done eating. I was also slightly disappointed in the peach toast as it was soggy and the peaches tasted canned, and the avo toast - it was just plain & should have more toppings. I recommend adding pickled red onion & a poached egg. The honey bee toast, lox toast and caprese toasts were EXCELLENT! The other recommendation I have is rearranging the tables. There is one small walk way to get to the back/other room and we all had to back up to let someone go by. I would move the 2-person tables in the middle to being right against the wall to open it up a bit. Overall good experience!

Whoa. I've been wanting to come to Zen forever to try a coffee flight. It was amazing!! First of, great service. Next, cozy environment. For the flight I chose the Belgian waffle (hot), London Fog (hot), Vanilla Silk (iced), and lastly a Matcha latte (iced). I have to say that I usually hate Matcha... It tastes like grass to me. This one though? So delicious!!! The London Fog was one of the best I've ever had. I'll absolutely be back.

Quick service, friendly staff. Cute accessories and tshirts to buy, unexpected protein donuts, and a pretty good iced latte. 10/10 Hate it when the coffeeshops music is too loud, volume level was on point.

We came on a Sunday morning and had a wonderful experience. My partner had the pecan pie latte and I had the eggnog latte and both were exceptional. The caprese toast was also top notch. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a very pleasant first experience with this coffee shop. Staff was welcoming and the ambiance was neat. I tried the classic a avocado toast which was delicious and a hot vanilla latte. Great coffee and a place to relax

Great variety of drinks! Choices of toast and toppings are delicious. Only downfall is a little pricey and noisy. Not a place I would go weekly but take out of town company.

Came here in the middle of the workday for a quick drink. Wish I could have stayed. It was very inviting. They have all the regular coffee house staples along with a few of their own. The staff was very nice and the chai tea and coffee cake I had were both top notch.

Their matcha is good! But personally I am a person who loves strong matcha. I think their matcha would be a good choice, if you haven't tried matcha before.:) I wanna try golden matcha but they dont have that anymore🥲

Amazing find in downtown Omaha. Local sourced coffee with extensive espresso, tea, and coffee options. The pour over was great and they had multiple options to choose from. Very friendly staff and a quiet work space off the main entryway

We go here every weekend. I love the toast, the (handmade) pop tarts, and their brewed coffee. They also have seasonal drinks (including a whole list for CWS). The standing room is limited, so if you come during really busy hours, you might find yourself a little squished. Generally, if you get brewed coffee, it's faster than getting a specialty, BUT they're not slow by any means, especially considering the traffic they get. Plus, the side is that there's no drive thru, so you usually always know where you are in line by the orders being called. They have recycling and two bins to put your dishes in (one in the main cafe area and one in the back cafe area). Bathrooms require a passcode, and there are two (one in the hall by the register and one in the backroom). Ideally, this is a cozy first date spot or spot for you to catch up with friends. It's also right next to one of the bus stops, so if you use the bus route from uptown, then you can get dropped off right here.

I remember coming into Zen when they first opened and I had first moved to Omaha and remember thinking to myself, I really hope these guys make it and to see the progress and growth since then amazes me! My pro tip is to order ahead especially if you’re coming on a weekend. They’re busy for a reason, and it’s well worth it. I’m a sucker for the specialty drinks and yes I know coffee is expensive these days but so is EVERYTHING these days so when you can, please consider this place as a special little treat—it’s always great to support local too! Have not tried the famous flight but I’ll report back when I do.

We were super excited to try Zen while passing through Nebraska. I will start by saying the coffee was delicious! We had a lavender latte and Carmel latte both with oat milk. We placed our order at 7:25 while driving. The app said it will be ready at 8:05. We opted for curbside pick up. We waited till 8:05 and called they said they would bring it out. We waited another 10 minutes and had not received our coffee. Now several people have received there coffee which was brought out to them. I went inside at 8:24 and the lady at the front went outside to the car and asked our name again. I went around and picked up our coffee inside. She did not say hello, thank you for choosing Zen, NOTHING! This was not a Zen moment. Hopefully there online ordering process will improve.

We drove 25 minutes to support a local coffee shop. When there was a misunderstanding with an order the customer service was rude.

My son & I were wanting to try a new place for coffee this morning. I found this place from a Facebook group & couldn't wait to check it out. Great place to sit & relax while enjoying your coffee. We tried 2 different toast flavors & were impressed by both. Little on the more expensive side but totally worth it. I will continue to try new things here & will definitely bring my business back. Customer service was pretty good considering they were busy making orders the entire time we were here. No complaints at all.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Omaha. Staff is kind, coffee is good, and the atmosphere of the shop is arguably the best in Omaha. PROS - aesthetic and atmosphere - friendly staff CONS - prices are a little steeper than most coffee shops - seating is limited

Awesome coffee spot with a great rotating seasonal menu and lots of options. If you love creative coffee drinks without the pretentiousness that sometimes is found in the coffee space, this is the place to visit. Very chill and relaxed space.

If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming coffee shop to go to in Omaha, this will be one of the best places to go to. The shop was nicely designed, the staff was very nice and helped out a lot with options, and the food and coffee were of top quality. The only negative point I would like to make is that it's very expensive ($6 for a single slice of PB toast with banana slices?). Unless you mind just staying home and making this kind of food for far cheaper, this can be a great place to stop by to start your day.

I am a coffee shop fanatic and Zen is, by far, my favorite coffee shop in Omaha! I spend so much time here and am always immensely impressed! The staff are all so friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the menu has so many wonderful and unique drinks. Highly recommend the flights, double cups, smoothies, lavender lemonade, iced tea, and offerings on the seasonal menu!

G’day, Based on instagram, we were excited by the prospect of getting a latte board. We were disappointed - a novelty at best. Seemed like the liquid was just poured into the cups, the dregs of cream splashed on the top and bulk syrups added at the end. No coffee flavour at all. Three of us ordered the same lattes, but received three different versions. And, our Belgian lattes didn’t come with waffles. Ultimately, the veneer of Insta didn’t survive the actual interaction with the lattes. Disappointingly not worth the effort - hopefully our Saturday morning experience isn’t the standard. Bagels/scones were acceptable.

Zen is my favorite Omaha coffee spot! I love supporting local small businesses, but sometimes it feels like a sacrifice when you have to pay more money than you do at the chains. However, prices at Zen are reasonable and competitive. They have an amazing rewards program, and regularly send out emails with coupons/discounted gift cards. The actual coffee here is high quality, and the seasonal menus are always so creative. I also love the faith-based artwork at the Midtown location! If you’re thinking about going to Midtown, don’t give up if you don’t see a parking spot!! Circle around once or twice, and usually one will open up by that time. Thank you to the owner and employees for providing a kind and positive experience for me and so many other customers!

My young family and I had a great experience at Zen. We ordered drinks ranging from a smoothie, pour-over coffee, iced coffees and a latte. All drinks were thoroughly enjoyed! The couches were comfortable and my daughters really liked leaving through the astrology book. Great place!

Zenz Coffee Shop is a hidden gem in Omaha, Nebraska that's worth visiting just for their amazing lavender latte. From the first sip, the latte's unique floral flavor immediately stood out and lingered on my taste buds. The latte was also topped with a beautiful latte art, which made for a great Instagram photo opportunity. Aside from the amazing lavender latte, Zenz Coffee Shop has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The shop is decorated with charming and eclectic pieces, including antique coffee grinders and vintage signs, which added to the overall ambiance. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making my visit a truly enjoyable experience. If you're a coffee lover looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, Zenz Coffee Shop is definitely worth a visit. Their lavender latte is a must-try and I will definitely be returning for more.

Interesting and innovative drink (Animal Cracker Late) I had never had before. Probably won't have it again, but I appreciate the effort. Not the best scone I've ever had but it was big enough to keep me full most of the morning.

Zen coffee was amazing. The drink selection was great and the toast selection was delectable. The everything avocado was my favorite, pairing avocado and cream cheese was excellent.

I really enjoy the coffee here. It's not too sweet that I feel sick after drinking it. But the coffee isn't so strong that it's bitter. They have so many different flavors of coffee, and their lemonade is so delicious as well. The atmosphere is great and inviting!

  • 5/5 Courtney C. 9 months ago on Google
I absolutely love their coffee. No other coffee compares, they make their own blend of beans and vanilla. It's also a perfect place to work or meet up. If you come in regularly they're really good about remembering your order.

What a sweet spot! I came super early on a Monday morning and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I got the Bees Knees and it was delicious! Visiting from Denver.. this place is great. Doppio espresso boom fire: not acidic, nice punch=perfection. Heart burners who can’t handle coffee can do this place for sure!! Oatmilk latte- lights out; silky smooth with a touch of wonderful and a smell that makes one’s heart melt. Go visit this place

Just drove all the way to 133rd to try this place out after seeing the location on the website to find out nothing is there. Once I called this location all I was told was “ya we are opening it soon” no sorry you drove 20min to support us or anything of the sort. The only “sorry” I got was when she said “sorry I’m just a barista”. I also didn’t hang up as I said it’s not your fault, thanks anyways and have a good day. So crazy to put hours of operation and a Google maps image to a business that doesn’t exist. The website never said coming soon nor did the barista state the owner wanted to speak to me. Lying about the barista apologizing isn’t helping you at all either! Lying on me won’t make me want to speak to you! I also don’t feel a customer is required to look on your social media when you have a website! There is nothing to resolve at this point. Lots of honest coffee shops in the area. Starbucks will get my money before Zen after this!

Upon arriving to Zen, I was greeted, the music and plants provided a positive and relaxed atmosphere. Grace was very nice and helpful and suggested the lavender/honey latte which was delicious! One of my favorite coffee shops in the area (although there are many great ones to choose from). I enjoy the variety of options and the fun seasonal drinks. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots in the area and was super excited to get the opportunity to grab free coffee thanks to Yelp Elite Events! I went with the baristas choice of coffee (Zen blend) and classic avocado toast. Perfect mid-morning treat to start on my Monday. I love the atmosphere, decor, coffee, food, etc here.
