Spring Lake Park

Tourist attraction Park

🫤 Very dirty and a lot of trash. No playground in this part or bathrooms. People come to drink and smoke probably underaged but who really cares besides the people who read reviews before they go to the place there going to. People often mention park, lake,

This is a wonderful addition to the area. It used to be here around the turn of the last century and was originally called Synidcate Park. They had routed the natural spring into the sewers at some point and the natural spring lake was gone. They completely re-did the area and rebuilt the lake in 2019 and continue the development through 2021.

I love it because,I don't know exactly, but I would say just for the sake of argument that 90 % of the park is undeveloped..It is no forest by no means, but it is woods.I can wander into various parts of it and when I get deep down into its ( structure).Down in the woods. My only company then are the DEER R,ACOONS and wild TURKEYS.Hell I've even seen not only a few Skunks but a FOX or two.And I mean there are places of this park I can go to like in the morning and stay all day into evening and not see or run into another person at all.I like that it's a piece of mind and privacy. What's not so cool about that. It's great.

Cool little spot to cast a line if you're tired of walking around a bigger lake for hours. The scenery is beautiful and there's a flock of turkeys that will sometimes visit and say hello. If I was teaching a youngster or someone new to fishing, this would probably be a good place to start.

I had to clue how amazing this little park is. The bike paths are super smooth and the park is never busy.

Its ok. The police need to camp out and ticket people who party and leave modello beer bottles laying in the parking area...because they just don't evaporate ya know.

The parking lot is not too big, but not many people know about this park so it works just fine. There's a lake and a couple picnic tables. There is some nature to hike, just gotta be careful in case of ivy. Overall, it's a nice place for some family quiet time and bike road around the lake. Thumbs up.

Nice long pool with 2 diving boards (1m & 3m) and a ramp entrance to the water. There is very limited deck space & no chair/ loungers. The water was cold, probably due to the ample shade. It's so rare to find a pool with decent shade (great for those of us who are sunburn prone).

Beautiful park, love it here, I am happy to see that mattresses, furniture, etc that were dumped off by some disrespectful person/people have been hauled away (tires still there, but it's a start;)

Very simple sidewalk that goes around the lake. Fountain was pretty. Surrounding fauna was wild and overgrown, giving a kind of creepy vibe as we arrived. Nice weeping willows near the pond.

Nice little loop to walk around the pond on a fall afternoon! Lots of vehicle traffic in and out without actually enjoying the park, but other than that a nice time.

This is where i play with my rc boat...its better early in the day when the fountains arent going so you can see the boat better

I do not recommend the playground because the grass all around is full of barbed sticker plants. I’m just glad I took off my shoes to play in the sand first and not my son’s because I took one step and had about 10 painful stickers stuck on each foot. Yikes! Not what you want where kids are playing.

This place has potential, but right now there is trash everywhere. People sitting in there blackout tinted window cars. Peeling out in there cars

Trash everywhere! No trash cans so I guess it should be expected. Place is not taken care of at all. Nice sidewalk around the swamp though.

Trash overflowing. Overflow lake filled with trash. Previous years fish kill reduced fish population below a tolerant ecosystem level. Needs stocked with fish and better park maintenance.

If it would not have had so much trash all over the grounds it would've been a decent park.

Very scenic park but the area is a bit small for my taste. It's still a nice place when it's not too hot out.

Definitely one of the more pretty spots in Omaha. I like to come here and hide from life for a little while and enjoy a little bit of peace in this busy city. This is one of the best places for that.
