    Traveled 600 plus miles to shop here and felt unwelcomed. Top notch security team as they were the only ones who greeted me. Looked at watches for awhile, but lost interest when I was ignored. It was not busy and associates didn't appear overwhelmed by the sudden rush of one customer. Fine gifts department same treatment. Nobody here seemed to care much about their job. I expected a much better experience as recieved in the past, but that's okay because I'll spend my money where it's appreciated. Judge a book by its cover and I'm going to write about it.

    Just left Borsheims. Walked around the store for 60 minutes and no one attempted to ask if I needed assistance - even after making eye contact on several occasions. I’ve purchased several items from Borsheims over the past 35 years and always received good service. I traveled over 500 miles to visit family and to get a pair of diamond earrings for my wife. I will instead be purchasing from a local jeweler and going forward will no longer consider Borsheims for any of my jewelry purchases.

    We have been looking forward to visiting Borsheims for weeks to purchase our wedding bands after purchasing my engagement ring here. We weren't helped or acknowledged for 15-20 minutes, even after asking if anyone can help us. The man who eventually helped us did not introduce himself, acted extremely rushed, did not ask what we were looking for, or engage in any kind of conversation. We felt as though we were an extreme inconvenience to this man's time and the store. Buying wedding bands is an exciting step in the wedding process, and we left feeling extremely disappointed in our experience.

    Terrible Service - Even Worse Selection Today we traveled from Des Moines to Omaha to shop for an engagement ring. Right off the bat, we were not greeted or even acknowledged as we walked in. Then, we proceeded to look at the engagement selection only to be ignored for no less than ten minutes. When we finally were approached, the woman asked if she could page someone for us. When I informed her we had literally not heard a single word from the at least 8 people behind the counter at all, she told me they were short staffed. 1. Completely understandable, but I would have been happy with a “welcome, it’ll be just a moment.” 2. Every where is short staffed, each place we visited in DSM was ready to serve us. 3. We LITERALLY were in front of a case with a jeweler standing there chatting and she didnt even ACKNOWLEDGE us whatsoever. 4. This makes me worry about their customer service after purchase greatly - if I have a problem, will they even stop to talk to me? Probably not. Thank goodness this was not the first place we visited because I would have been completely turned off. 10/10 do not recommend. Now, outside of our customer service experience, the location is NOT boutique in any slight glance of the imagination. It is entirely commercial, pumping out rings that are like a 1970s suburban complex. You will not find a single unique piece here. Maybe you’re fine having ten other women with your exact same setting - I wish you well with your divorce in three years. 10/10 do not recommend. Just horrid.

    We were in town from Indiana for our daughter’s wedding on Saturday. I brought my mother's antique Victorian diamond sunburst brooch for our daughter to wear - but I forgot to bring a chain. Jackie waited on us. We brought in a necklace that was the desired length but we could not remove a small pendant. We intended to buy a simple chain. But between Jackie and my husband (who was a silversmith in our graduate school days), they were able to modify the chain and thus we did not need to buy a new one. Jackie was kind enough to help us have the brooch securely installed with her in house jeweler. She did not make a sale. But she secured our loyalty to the store. We highly recommend the excellent customer service that is so rare these days. Kudos to Jackie!! God bless you!

    Came here looking for some jewelry for my anniversary. We could not get anyone at any of the jewelry counters to even make eye contact with us. It isn’t like they were super busy, about 50% of the employees were just standing around. I mean we were wearing long sleeve tshirts & jeans because we were running around all day, but really? Even when trying to speak to the sales people they would glance at us, then walk away while we were trying to talk to them. All of the guys working at the watch counters were great though. All the jewelry sales people were unimaginably rude.

    I hate writing reviews as it takes time away from other things I could be doing but I want to put this out there. Brought my ring in as I had lost a diamond and wanted it replaced. The gal came back after it was inspected and said they wont fix this ring. It is a liability and it has several diamonds cracked and the prongs are worn and several other things. We discussed a trade in. She proceeded to get a sales associate. The sales associate had worked there for a very long time and stated, "they are only going to give you like $300 for this ring and they will just scrap it. This comment made me feel as if my ring was trash and that it was a waste of their time." She suggested I take it over to Helzberg , it is the sister company of Borsheims, and since that's where we purchased the ring I might have better luck. So, I did exactly that, and they were more than Accommodating!! Even better, they are getting my ring in tip top shape for $453 so the ring is repairable and they apologized for my experience. I told her I am a nurse and I wear my ring to work so of course it needs some work. Borsheims also suggested I "stay away" from rings like the one I had due to my profession and to get a lower setting. I had also contacted my insurance agent to discuss my options for damaged jewelry but then was happy to find out that my ring, indeed, was actually repairable. I was behind a lady at Borsheims and they also told her they would not work on her ring! Not sure what is behind it, but it just does not make sense that a very large well known Jewelry store cannot repair it but the smaller sister store can and the gal actually took a look at it right in front of me and discussed what needed to be fixed and suggested some gold plating to help hold the halo diamonds in place. So if you run into this issue please get a second opinion!!!!

    I have had two very disappointing experiences with Borsheims in the last year. First of all, I want to say that my husband purchased my engagement ring and wedding band at Borsheims 36 years ago. Back then, we were treated with the utmost respect and excitement. About a year ago, one of my sons wanted to purchase an engagement ring so we went to Borsheims. This was an experience he and I were very excited about, and our salesman was not. It was just not the experience we were looking for. We told him we were going to look around, and he couldn't have cared less. So, we went to another store and he bought the ring that day elsewhere. At the other store, everyone was so much more welcoming and excited for him. Then just a few days ago, I took my wedding rings in to get fixed. A very small diamond had fallen out of the wedding band. I was told they wouldn't fix it. It was "too old," is what I was told. I was a little in shock so then I asked if we could just remove the two rings apart from each other so I could keep the engagement ring the way it was. Once again, I was told no. The customer service lady said why don't I talk to a salesperson about resetting it. I told her that would be fine and I would just see what my options are. So, finally a saleslady came to help us. She was very unfriendly. She had no interest in helping me. In fact, she offended me and said, "We will look at the "cheapest" settings for you first. I wondered why she assumed I wanted "cheap." I called her out on her rude attitude. She tried to act like that is not what she meant, but the damage was already done. I told her we would look elsewhere for help and I did. Guess what? My ring is being fixed as we speak. The other places I took it to were shocked I was told nothing could be done, especially when it was purchased there, We have bought many things there throughout the years, but I will shop elsewhere from now on.

    3 strikes, you’re out! I am so over this store and their pretentious sales staff. I was a loyal customer for YEARS. I bought my first piece of Borshiem’s jewelry 12 years ago. I bought a diamond band, two rings, two diamond necklaces, and gifts over those years. This past dealing was the last straw. I went in to have a band, platinum and diamond channel set band they sold me in 2007, tightened so I wouldn’t lose diamonds. This band has been well kept and in for regular diamond checks and cleanings. I was told that the jeweler couldn’t fix it, due to wear. So I was prepared to buy a new setting for my current diamonds. I was told that would be too much work, and I was better off buying a new ring. They had the audacity to tell me there was nothing I could do with my current band, it wasn’t worth much after you factor in cost of labor; I am sorry it is platinum and diamonds, not sterling and zirconium you incompetent people. They sent me options to buy a brand new band, the same one I have, for more that I paid for the original. You have lost a customer. My advice for future and current customers: Please go get a second opinion on your jewelry. I am sad to say this store thinks they are too special that they don’t care about their customers. Borsheim’s staff: Get over yourselves. Seriously, it is borderline embarrassing how you traipse around like you are the absolute best while it is clear you are not. Very apparent you don’t care, even for a repeat customer. I was able to take my ring, same one you said was worthless, to another jeweler in town who was able to fix it. It is beautiful, and was amazingly affordable. And now they have my business.

    Borsheims is near and dear to myself and my fiancé. As we started the process of shopping for engagement rings, we window shopped at a handful of places. Time and time again, Borsheims provided the best price, for the best quality, and consistently had the most helpful sales associates. Julie was such a blessing in this process. She went above and beyond all expectations with making sure my fiancé was able to secure her dream ring. I purchased a Borsheims VIP Experience from an auction which included a variety of giftcards, personal shopping experience with champagne, flowers, and a generous discount. This experience was as wonderful as they come. From being greeted at the door with our names displayed, to the champagne, to the informative shopping session, and everything in between. Elizabeth allowed us to try on rings, fine jewelry, and watches(my personal favorite was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Ultra Thin Moon). If you are shopping for jewelry, rings, watches, and beyond, stop by Borsheims. Ask for Julie or Elizabeth and you will be happy you did. We have been there countless times since for ring cleanings and window shopping. 11/10 Recommend.

    Poor costumer service, we were also offended that there was a sticker on the front door saying no guns allowed. My husband served in the military to make sure people had the right to enjoy such freedoms as the right to bear arms. We found it very hypocritical that others cannot carry inside the store but their security can. We will not be coming back.

    Travelled home to Omaha to visit for the Labor Day Holiday; stopped by Borsheims to shop for a keepsake after losing our little Scottish Terrier. I bought an expensive designer bracelet and charm on Friday, it broke on Saturday and stopped by Borsheims on Tuesday on our way out of town. The customer service people and the sales floor staff past me around, kept me waiting and worse - they were rude and uncaring - especially Cheri from Sales. The only option was to return the bracelet and leave empty handed. Borshems wouldn't look for a replacement; wanted me to wait or go to lunch while they fixed the bracelet. Treated me terribly. My husband and I have always gotten our fine jewelry from them - NOT anyone. Terrible experience. And terrible service and poor quality.

    What I love about Borsheims is that I can bring in lots of my heirloom costume jewelry for repairs. I didn’t realize this! I thought no way would they work on costume jewelry, but it’s true. You just speak to an associate on the sales floor and they’ll help you out! No problem!!

    3 strikes and you are out Borsheim’s. Stopped in the week before Christmas to buy my wife Sapphire Stud earrings and the lady that was sent over to help us could not have been more dis-interested. She was curt, rude and condescending. This is the 3rd time this has happened in the last 18 months at your store. Perhaps I need to dress in my tux when I come in to get good service. Here is what I do know, I went to Gunderson’s and spent $7500 and the $$ I was spending in your store will be spent in their store from now on.

    Borsheims is the best!! I had some back to back issues with my wedding ring and between Sue Wurth and Erin in Customer Service I knew I was taken care of. Erin made sure to personally call me back with any update she had and Sue made sure the vendor knew what my needs and requests were when it came to repairing my ring. Excellent team work on their part and great customer service. As usual, Borsheims blew me away. Thank you for all you do!

    My fiancé and I have had many happy experiences at Borsheims. From just window shopping with no pressure to buy, to finding my dream engagement ring, wedding bands, and other fine jewelry, each visit was amazing! Safe to say we love it there and we love the people who have helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Julie helped us find my dream engagement ring- I wanted an elongated oval and she pulled out stacks of paper with longer dimensions and let me hand select which ones I’d like to order in. They arrived within days! Elizabeth helped us find our wedding bands and other fine jewelry- the exact ones we had envisioned! What makes Borsheims different from other jewelers is that they are willing to do anything and everything to get you what you have in mind- if you can dream it, they can do it. I would highly recommend Julie or Elizabeth- they will make your shopping experience simply remarkable! 💍🤍😊

    Perfection! The ONLY Jeweler I trust! My experience from start to finish was exceptional in all ways - Deb’s efforts, commitment and communication were beyond expectations and of course my diamond/ring. I love it. This is my second dealing with Borsheims in the last 15 years ringing my wedding ring and both times I have been beyond pleased. I cannot say enough good things about Deb and my ring of course. She went above and beyond and I am so grateful. I appreciate all the help, opinions and guidance. The best part was I am out of state and never had to meet in person, all was done via mail, email, text and phone and it was perfect. You MUST try Borsheims and you will be so happy you did as well as wearing a beautiful piece of jewelry. My diamond is gorgeous and it’s all due to Deb and her keen eye and passion for diamonds and getting clients what they want. Love love love Borsheims and Deb. Thank you!!

    It's a large jewelry store, but the "security guards" throw their weight around and appear far too young and inexperienced to be wandering around with weapons. You go there to spend a lot of money and instead have college kids with guns following you around. Unsatisfactory. I dropped five figures there many times, but I won't be back. They won't allow ME to carry, even concealed with a permit (and even made me LEAVE)...but intimidate me with weapons. Ummm...not conducive to a pleasant experience.

    Great selection, easy to navigate website, and polite assistance: when I placed an order with 2-day express delivery late on a Friday, they very thoughtfully reached out immediately to clarify exactly when I wanted to receive the package, so I could make an adjustment to shipping method if necessary. Right at the height of holiday shopping crush. How rare is this kind of service anymore? Worth giving them my business whenever possible, I'd say. Thank you, Borsheim's!

    I wanted to get on here and review two people specifically. Deb M. (in jewelry) and G (in watches). My wedding is coming up this April and they have been AMAZAING! I am excited for my groom to get his gift and my engagement ring and wedding band came from here. They are also attentive and great listeners. I never felt pressured to buy, but always had a great feeling leaving. I went back and forth and back and forth trying to decide and they both were so so so patient. This store has been around for a long time I believe because they treat you they way they want to be treated and don't push sales. I had a great experience here and will be back!

    I had such a great experience with Deborah at Borsheims! My partner and I had terrible experiences everywhere else and had almost resorted to getting an engagement ring online before we decided to try Borsheims. We had a few family members give glowing reviews, so we gave it a go. Deborah asked what our budget was right off the bat and let us build the ring from the bottom up. I didn't even know that was an option! She ordered diamonds and had us approve every step of the process. I loved her honesty and how she was really helpful and wanted what's best for us. I can't wait to see the finished product. I can't recommend her enough!!

    I recently purchased an engagement ring at Borsheims and the experience was absolutely wonderful. My now-fiancé and I went just to look in advance to see what styles looked best on her finger, and Sandy was so helpful in guiding us through all the myriad of options we had before us! She really did such a lovely job of helping us find what was exactly right for us in what started out as such a daunting task, and I came away with a great idea of exactly what I wanted. The whole process was made very simple and clear, and we couldn't be happier with the incredible diamond and ring. Truly the place to go for the finest jewelry!

    I searched everywhere for candlesticks that I wanted to give to a family member for Christmas. No place offered UPS or expedited service EXCEPT Borsheims. I contacted their customer service to be sure that they could deliver before Christmas and that they had enough stock. Melinda was so kind! She took the time to check the stock and reported that they had the 2 I needed and they would ship right away. She even volunteered to see the order through once it was submitted. Wow! You can’t ask for better customer service!!

    This was the best online buying experience I have ever had. They answered my questions super fast and even applied a new customer discount after I had already made and paid for the order. I encourage everyone to buy from this company. The products are amazing and you don't get customer service like this now days. Afterwards, had a follow-up question - sent a text and received prompt, courteous and helpful response! Highly recommend Borsheims and I look forward to continued shopping here for years to come!

    Ordered a new setting for my diamond and was told by three different salespeople that it would take four weeks. Placed my deposit and five weeks later, having heard nothing, I reached out. My salesperson had a litany of excuses--she didn't see it in her bin, the person who helps with orders was out on vacation, the vendor was behind. She said it would likely be closer to 7 weeks from when I ordered. Another five weeks go by, and finally, 10 full weeks after I ordered the ring, she calls three times in three days to tell me it's there. The setting is lovely, but customer service and communication are abysmal. I absolutely understand that delays happen, but if you are going to promise four weeks, you either need to make that happen or you need to communicate why that's not happening. Had I been told it would take 10 weeks, I would have adjusted my expectations. If I had been on the receiving end of open communication about delays and an updated ETA, I would have adjusted my expectations. But neither of those things occurred. When I picked the ring up, there was no apology or even an acknowledgement of the fact that the ring had taken more than twice as long as I was told to expect. Please do better, Borsheims. It felt as if my purchase was too small to deserve good communication or customer service. Perhaps if you spend more, you are taken care of. Regardless, I won't be back to find out.

    SCAMMED by Borsheims! Sadly my friend bought my wife and I watches for our wedding gift. When he bought them he was hesitant as he knew we are a little picky. The sales person took control and then ended up convincing him that engraving them would be the ultimate touch. The problem is the watches are not our style at all and when we went to exchange them they said we couldn't because of the engraving. So basically the sales person knew that by engraving them we could not exchange or return them and he was guaranteed his commission check. Please don't let anyone at Borsheims pull this on you and please ONLY get something engraved if you have the other party involved in the final decision. Now we have two VERY expensive high end watches that will sit in a drawer and never be worn. All so someone could make a little money...

    Nice items but quality control is questionable as so much of their product is produced by third party vendors. Also, customer service does not speak to quality control who does not speak to sales, etc. The company is really just an online platform for third party manufacturers similar to the Amazon model. Not a rip off but nothing special in terms of deals or quality.

    Horrible customer service. I went to pick up a ring I ordered and all the sales people completely ignored me. I walked up to THREE different people and they all turned around and literally walked away from me. It took me over 15 minutes before I found an employee who would actually acknowledge me. I wanted to return the ring right then and there. The employees are extremely rude and pretentious. Maybe don’t ignore your paying customers?

    I wanted to order an item online and had questions. It was obvious the people handling the emailed responses were not knowledgable. I was given wrong information about the item and inventory levels. Nothing added up. I eventually called and was given different information. The person who answered the phone created a better experience, but they quoted a higher price than the one listed on the website. I had to point that out. I expected better from a small company. Edit: I emailed the customer service team that I’d like to be placed in touch with management, and days later no response. So the team responded (inaccurately) to my product questions, but there’s radio silence when I conveyed my desire to speak to management. I lowered my rating.

    What a special moment in time. My son came to town from Colorado. He said he was ready to ask for his girlfriends hand in marriage.     Great customer service! "G" is the person to see when purchasing a fine luxury watch. Just a super experience! So knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with.     I'm not sure of her name, but the woman I spoke to on the phone about the estimate for services I was supposed to receive on two rings was so incredibly rude to me that I will absolutely never take anything here or buy from the store again. She was rude when I didn't have the confirmation number, rude when my name didn't come up even though I said multiple times it might be under my partner's name, and described my mother's ring that was passed down to me as "in absolutely awful shape" and "altered so poorly it's not circular". The ring was passed down to my from my mom, I know nothing about jewelry, and I brought it to the store to keep it as nice as possible despite it's age. Although I have had it less than two months whoever this was spoke to me as if I had committed a crime and I was handing her garbage. Shouldn't they be glad I need to pay more money for repairs? I'm so utterly disappointed in the way I was treated when I was nothing but polite. I HATE having to write a review like this, and I have only done so maybe one other time in my life, but the situation was that upsetting. So unnecessary and disappointing. I honestly wish I had told her I would pick the rings up instead of letting them go to repair. 9/7 Edit - Borsheims contacted me regarding the above incident and they were very genuine in their apology and proactive in their response. The VP herself took the time to contact me so she could look into the situation. I'm very impressed and touched at the effort that went into this resolution despite their acknowledgement that they may have lost future business. Thank you for turning this into a more positive experience!

    Wedding ring shopping at Borsheims was such a great experience. Good pricing and me and my fiancée got our rings within a week once ordered. Other ring shops were quite pushy with sales and we did not experience that here. I’m not into jewelry and wasn’t sure what I wanted but nobody made me feel rushed or judged, which I experienced at the ring shops in the Westroads mall. Such a great experience!

    UPDATE: the responded immediately, offered refund, confirmed their NOMOS authorization as a vendor and that they'd send it to NOMOS to confirm it's authenticity. Well-handled. OLD They sell knock offs. I ordered a NOMOS Ludwig cordovan watch strap to replace a worn out one I picked up in person from a NOMOS store 7 years ago. The replacement Borsheims sold me has different poor quality stamping, different leather insides and the width tolerances do not match the genuine model. I am very disappointed and recommend you avoid them entirely if you value owning a genuine item as they claim

    Bought a very expensive Men’s Raymond Weil watch from Borsheims in 2016. Watch stopped working in 2019 due to a bad internal mechanism, nine months after the warranty ended. Borsheims just said, “sorry”
