    This is a real gym for everyone. Great variety of equipment. Clean, clean, clean. Good energy. Great, friendly staff. Fun place. Highly recommend. Unfortunately, I have had to change my take on Blue Moon Fitness. The above holds true however I have been harassed by their sales team since my one visit. I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their marketing lists yet continue to get calls, emails and text messages. I visited for one workout and have now been victimized repeatedly. I have gone to the authorities and they are working to stop this over reach. Truly unbelievable.

    I love this gym and Iā€™ve been a member since 2017. I hate to gripe because the staff is terrific, but this location has a safety issue. The parking lot has become dangerous ever since Mega Saver finished remodeling and Iā€™m not getting a response from Blue Moon when I bring it up. Drivers cut across the Blue Moon parking lot to get to Mega Saver and they do not look. They are hard to see. Last night I was almost hit as I drove into the parking lot and then again as I was leaving the parking lot. This is typical. Iā€™ve brought it up to Local Management a couple times, most recently a couple weeks ago. Iā€™ve tried to escalate this by sending a message to the Omaha South location on Facebook as well as emailing the address appearing on Facebook, hoping that someone would read it take it seriously. I havenā€™t heard back. Iā€™m hoping that my review will get some attention and prompt a responseā€¦some simple Jersey Barriers would help, or even Parking Bumpers like what they already have along the front of the building. Weā€™re getting into the busy time of year when new members join and they wonā€™t be familiar with the parking lot situation. I honestly donā€™t plan on going anywhere because I love this gymā€¦just trying to look out for others and hopefully avoid an accident myself. I promise to add a star for each Jersey Barrier you put up. ;-)

    The gym and staff are fine but nothing to write home about. I went to sign up through my insurance as it was covered and nothing extra however when I arrived nobody currently working was able to complete the process. No problem signed up for a day pass. I have since moved out of state that however hasnā€™t stopped them from constantly calling me on a solicited and automated phone number. Seriously worse then extend mile warrantyā€™s

    I just love this place. The staff is always friendly (but not *overly* friendly; they let you do your thing). There is more than enough equipment to go around. The music is never too loud. The machines are clean and well-maintained. The women's-only area is massive. I've used the personal training services too, and my trainer was fantastic. I can't recommend this gym enough!

    Horrible place. Trainers are unprofessional-always hitting on girls. Walked in and cancelled my membership. Cost 50$ to cancel. They are still taking money out of my acct. Every time I call the manager is "out of town". I just moved to cali or I would go in person.

    Awesome gym. I moved to Nebraska for summer sales and was very happy with the gym. But had to move back home because of a family accident. I was aware of the 50 dollar cancellation fee, however I cancelled over a month ago and they are still charging my bank account. I have called the main office (leaving a voice mail) and emailed them. Getting no response after THREE WEEKS. Also when when I call my specific location they tell me their manager will get a hold of me. Yet a week goes by with no response. Not professional at all.

    19.99 a month for unlimited work outs, fitness classes, and tanning! (And massage chairs) Did I mention you can bring a guest with you to work out whenever you like?!! the class instructors are awesome and front desk is friendly and always remembers you. Iā€™ve been to 3 locations in Omaha and one in Lincoln and this is the one I keep going back to. Recommend! The only down side is no child play area so it has to be done during daycare time, and there is no sauna otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

    It's a fine gym. The location up north has more equipment. If you try to cancel they will keep charging you and it's a huge hassle. The "no commitment" memberships are a lie. I was def a member for more than 30 days so idk what the reply below is talking about. I was there for 6+ months. Update 2: When I signed up I was told it's no commitment. Want to cancel? You have to come in in-person. When I did that and canceled it kept charging me. I was told 30 days more days of charges. Then I was told it's the next full month of charges. It was not clear/upfront in my case. Update 3: I have called and confirmed my cancelation half a dozen times. I continue to receive spam calls and mail and now have been contacted by a collections agency. This place is a SCAM

    Horrible gym and awful management. They will go out of their way to make canceling your membership as difficult as possible. I highly recommend joining elsewhere and avoiding this scam. They claim to be very upfront about the process of canceling, which is completely false. I just called pretending to be a potential new member curious about a membership and asked about the cancellation policy. They gave me the same runaround they give everyone else claiming no commitment and immediately able to cancel. Why do you think they get so defensive? Read the other reviews. Liars get very defensive, they are just liars. Response to Joel: I joined at the Central location and had all club access. Thanks for providing the literature. My point is Blue Moon specifically goes out of its way to make the cancellation process as difficult as possible. When signing up I verbally asked the employee what the cancellation process is and they assured me it was very simple and immediate. It would be good business to be clear when signing people up. Might help with these bad reviews and you wouldnā€™t have to try to justify anything. Hope this helps somehow. If you want more clarity feel free to pull my number from the system and give me a call.

    I am currently in a contract that I was told I was not going to be charged fees for the rest of the year if I decided to end early. Very unhappy with this location for cleanliness and lack of availability to any of their equipment. I went in to cancel and learned that they were not telling me the truth about the fees. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

    My overall experience with the workers in the gym was very good. However there always seems to be machines broken for several weeks when I went in. My biggest issue with Blue Moon is their membership management. I needed to cancel my membership as I am in college and am taking advantage of the on campus workout facilities that I already pay for in my tuition. There is no way to manage your membership online, so I called to cancel. However, I was told the only way I can cancel is to physically go to the gym and cancel there or to send certified mail to the location. How is this convenient at all? If you need something in writing, why cant I send an email? Disappointed that I have to jump through hoops for a simple membership cancellation. I'll consider any other gym before I come back to Blue Moon after I'm finished with college.

    Canceled for 4 months in a row and continue to get charged. Message after message, talk with the manager and the chief of operations after months, and get nowhere. Willing to give free training but pretty hard to swallow after months of redirection and continuation of withdrawals from our account. Great company I will never work with again!

    i have been going to Blue Moon for five years and could not be happier. the pricing is transparent and more than fair, the equipment selection is very good (better than the Y), and everything is well-maintained. it is always a friendly atmosphere, no matter your goals. for the past year and a half, i have also been using their personal training services. Nate is a professional genius. not only does he provide excellent guidance every day with individual workouts, but he keeps my overall goals in mind and is constantly making sure i am doing the right things while pushing me to the limit. he is also a great conversationalist. as i mentioned already, i could not be happier with my results and look forward to continue my membership for a very long time.

    If I could give this location negative stars I would. I paid for personal training sessions upfront in full. Three sessions in I was hit with a 120$ charge. No one at the location or manager are able to tell me what this is for. This was in Aug. it is now Nov and still dealing with them on my refund. They have stated several time your refund is approved we are waiting on the owner now!!!! itā€™s for extra training sessions. My trainer got FIRED before I even finished. The dude would was not consistent and wouldnā€™t show up some session just trash. Than this week another 120 was taking out and they canā€™t tell me what itā€™s for. DO NOT TRUST THIS GYM. SCAMMERS!! The fact they havenā€™t offered compensation after leaving me hanging with training sessions and taking my money for god knows what. I called corporate everyday last month no one has returned my calls either. DO NOT TRUST!!! Itā€™s 2024 there should be penalty of documentation stating what is being charged and why! You should be able to tell your customers with ease why you are taking their money. I donā€™t have an extra 120 to give away.

    Canceled my membership 2 months ago and told them i would pay for this month and bext months just to make sure i don'thave to come back later and pay any balances. They told me that would be fine and today they are still trying to charge me 10 weeks later. I have been in 5 times in the last 2-3 months and everytime I go in they tell me they figured out the issue, it has been fixed and I shouldn't be charged anymore and a week later I have a new charge pending with late fees and everything. The last two times I came in to talk and try to resolve it i talked to a Tessa and she said I should be good and she would let the manager Kelly know and he would call me. 5 days later, I have not received any calls and they are still trying to call me. Luckily my card on file had expired recently so they aren't able to just pull money out of my account but I would like to try and get this resolved.

    Pretty average gym but the membership situation is horrid. Military moved me across the country and when I called to cancel after having been moved, I was told I'd have to do it in person which was clearly not an option. Apparently they have a very, very strict policy regarding some piece of paperwork I need to sign. He said there was nothing he would be able to do. Called back another time and was told that my information would be given to a manager who would cancel it. Didn't happen. Called again and was told I could just put a stop payment on them and they'd eventually cancel it. Fine. Did that and now they've sent it to collections? Insane. Have an actually helpful person reach out to me.

    Was in town for just as few days. The staff was great. Got me in to use the gym for the short time I was staying and they were extremely welcoming and helpful. Their main focus was making it economical for me and making sure I was taken care. You can bet Iā€™d recommend this gym and im at least taking a T-shirt w me home. Awesome equipment and great staff.

    Donā€™t know why thereā€™s bad reviews Iā€™ve been to several gyms. And ended back here. Itā€™s clean. New great equipment and has a hydro massage chair! Thatā€™s warm water massage! Classes are fun energetic and a great workout. Instructors are fun . But donā€™t join itā€™ll get to crowded Iā€™m not saying what local I go too !

    Iā€™ve been a member since September 16th this year and I have dropped 20lbs of fat just by running several miles each visit on the awesome treadmills here and dieting. Iā€™ve also gained interest in lifting weights more frequently. The staff and atmosphere is feel good. Remember that you are there for you and everyone should feel the same for themselves.

    Cancelled my membership in May, was charged for a full price membership in June and had to perform a chargeback on my credit card. They have now again charged me for 61 dollars which I will be performing a 2nd charge back on. I work for the company who's card they are charging so I will continue to perform chargebacks and cost your company money until you fix this issue. I will never, ever recommend anyone to this gym. I was hoping that Blue Moon would be different and not be a total pain to work with but I see that all gyms participate in the same shady practices making it impossible to actually cancel your membership and continuing to charge you for as long as they have your information.

    This gym has every possible machine you could think of. Huge section for weightlifting. Women's workout area that is separate. Perfect for any level of gym experience. They also have personal training which is fantastic

    BEWARE!!!! My car was broken into in the Blue Moon fitness parking lot on 108th and Q area in broad daylight. They pulled up beside my vehicle, broke the window out and stole all the contents. Omaha Police can do nothing because their cameras did not capture the license plate due to two blurry of footage.

    Facility is clean. Employees are courteous. Members are fun to work out with and body pump instructors are engaging! This is the longest I have ever consistently worked out and I attribute it to the things listed above! 60 lbs down and more to go. Thanks, Blue Moon!

    Went once, staff made me feel incredibly uncomfortable about myself. Trying to cancel but have to go in and moved extremely far away from any locations lol exactly why I'm canceling. Does not have the best interest in the customers. You can also send a NOTERIZED letter to corporate. Which also means going way more effort than it should be

    Tried to cancel my membership. Immediately recieved attitude from both employees behind the counter. Didnt get the information i needed so i left the store. I called back multiple times to try and leave a voicemail for the manager to call me and got cussed at by the employee on the phone and hung up on 3 times. Dont sign up for membership here. Literally anywhere is a better option.

The staff is very friendly and will help you with any questions you have. They have amazing equipment and also have awesome necessities like the personal sauna and the power plate. Would recommend to anyone!

    The staff are always friendly and helpful. They answer questions willingly including those about how to use equipment. The facility is clean and well-maintained. I'm grateful that Joe (the manager) suggested I look into using MyZone, a heart monitor that's connected to an app that lets me earn points and set up challenges, among other things. It's provided great incentive. In addition, I've also received feedback from Blue Moon's personnel about my progress with MyZone, which is above and beyond on their part! I've belonged to various clubs here and in another state over the years and this is by far the best!

    Great gym! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have an excellent selection of equipment which is also well maintained. The environment is welcoming as there are people at all different levels of fitness that workout here. I reccomend checking this place out if you are looking to join a gym.

    As far as value goes, you really can't beat it. This place is $10/month and the equipment is better than a ton of the other, more expensive gyms in town. It is overly crowded at times, but if you plan it during times you know other people are busy, you basically just have a giant gym to yourself.

    I absolutely love this gym! Iā€™ve been going for 2 months now as a first time exerciser. The staff is extremely friendly/helpful and they make me feel welcome every time I go there. Iā€™ve been tracking my weight loss and muscle gain with their Styku machine, and it is so awesome! It scans my body every 30 days and provides in-depth reports on my body measurements, body fat percentages, and my losses/gains. It is extremely motivating to see those results with the Styku, I love it! I do personal training sessions here also and am learning so much about fitness and exercise while also losing weight and gaining muscle at the same time. Also I really love the ā€œWomenā€™s Onlyā€ work out area they provide. A great gym with a friendly caring manager (Joe), highly recommend!

    DONā€™T DO IT! Iā€™ll provide reasoning as to why I would not recommend Blue Moon. I am an active duty service member. Summer 2023 there was a $1 sign up, biweekly payment, NO CONTRACT. Promotion. That is what was briefed to me by personnel employed at this business. I was placed on orders to another state and when cancelling I was told to pay a $50 cancellation fee. I paid it. This prompted me to review the initial contract again. I see that there are multiple errors. I then bring this to the attention of management who after several days of dodging the customer, (Mr. Bromley to be specific) explains that because I paid the cancellation fee I am not entitled to a refund. That if I would not paid it then the membership cancellation fee wouldnā€™t be an issue. I close with multiple employees acknowledging that the membership was set up wrong. I also take accountability for signing documentation (allegedly) that was incorrect. Please do not do business with this company. They could care less about customer satisfaction.
