It is a great lake for a get together - it has shaded picnic tables, ample parking. There is a boat ramp and a pontoon. It is a good lake for paddle boarding.

First time here today. Fished off the little platform across from the boat ramp. Got here about 11:30 and left around 2:00 pm. Temp was upper 90's with a breeze that kept you cool. Caught a bunch of bluegill and 1 baby catfish. Used a small 1/32 jig head with a 1 inch piece of worm. Very much surprised anything was biting. I will come back, maybe the bass and crappie will bite.

The playground is unique. The cushion is sand. There are pretty spots for picnics. Larger areas for group gatherings. The lake is very visible, quiet, and not huge. It is a good place for the small fisherman. Not many walking areas here though.

Fishing is a challenge. Not my top choice when taking the grandkids fishing. If I am taking my grandchildren to a park for playground activities, this is a wonderful choice.

Excellent place to catch catfish, largemouth bass and various types of perch.

At Lawrence Youngman Lake, you do not have to book the shelter spot for small gatherings. The shelter spot does have a lot of room, and you can gather approximately 50 people/guests. Thanks to the maintenance team for fixing the broken slab on the deck for fishing.

On Memorial Day we always have a picnic at this park because they have the nice covering for whole family and they have the doc in the water there were baby ducks and swans everywhere and this park is kept so clean and there's a big playground for the kids

Nice lake and park with large, shaded picnic area and a fairly big playground. Not much shade in most of the park though, trees are still pretty small. Has no permanent bathroom facilities but there are porta-potties available in the summer at least.

Nice lake, I fish here and have danced a jig after catching a 3 pounder or two...not a huge lake, but well established. If you are driving W. on W. Dodge you will probably drive right by this lake...eyes forward...this is good spot to catch lots of fish. But a boat is essential. Say hi to Jim Flowers if you catch him here. Maybe you will see me dancing in my 2 man pontoon. No pics, keeping that a secret. Locals call this 5 Fountains, just to throw you off.

Really pretty lake. Lots of blue gill, try early morning fishing
