Beautiful, clean campground. Campsites have generous spacing between them. Well maintained showerhouse and portapotties. Will definitely camp here again....UPDATE 7/7/18: Changed from 5 stars to 3...We booked 6 days over the holiday BECAUSE fireworks are not allowed and our dogs are terrified of them. We ended up leaving 2 days early due to fireworks, huge groups of visitors at various sites, loud music and partying until around 3 am (at least 4 other campsites packed up and left by 9 am on Saturday as well for the same reasons). There is no campground host on-site to handle such issues and the police visited every day we were there but as soon as they left activities resumed and at times escalated. The showerhouse was icky and needs repairs. This is still a beautiful campground and we will probably give it another try and hope our camp neighbors are more respectful in the future and maybe by then there will be an on-site host who can ensure campground rules are abided by.

We camped here the week after it reopened at the beginning of August, 2021. It has been completely paved- new roads and new RV pads. The pads are level and nice. We stayed at a site with full hookups; however, the water hadn't been turned on yet. There is water fill up and dump station on site. Very clean park. There is a decent amount of space between each RV sites. The camp host was friendly. I guess the only important thing to mention is they close / Lock the gates to the park between 11pm and 5am. Overall, great place to stay close to town but far enough from all the noise and lights.

Stayed in the East C loop with full hook ups and did not visit other areas. This loop is very new and beautiful with 41 very large full hook up sites including about 11 pull through sites. The park is beautifully maintained with lots of grass and trees. There is no Wifi but phone data works well. The bathhouse is new and fully functional and has $1 push button showers that lack temperature control. I did not use them. As is common with government built bathhouses this one is devoid of aesthetic appeal. It is a short drive into town for groceries, etc. There were lots of empty sites during our mid-week stay. I am told it fills up on the weekends.

A very nice, clean campground that is well taken care of. It's nicer than a lot of places in Omaha really. There are plenty of spots but not all with shade, and a 6 mile walking loop around the lake (but it seems longer) as well as a boat dock not connected to the campground by car, and a frisbee golf course on the boat dock side. We also saw a beaver when we were there!

Perfect location, awesome facilities, endless opportunities for entertainment, and recreation. We had the perfect camp site with unexpected privacy and scenery. VERY NICE. Price is a bit higher than most state or national parks/land, but the trade off its worth it.

Had a great time at Lake Cunningham Campground. Wide level concrete pads and roads. They have full hookups and electric only sites. There is disc golf, paddle boards, and kayak rentals within walking distance of the campgrounds. Well maintained and clean bathrooms and free showers. Dog friendly, but must be leashed. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Also several ADA sites.

Family camping using tents, air mattresses & lots of blankets; granddaughter's 10th birthday party🎂; hot dogs & hamburgers grilled for dinner; marshmallows roasted to make s'mores; chilly night but warm around the campfire. Lots of kids on the playground and a movie was shown on large screen for all to enjoy. Lots of families were there, in campers & tents. Public restrooms & showers were available on site!

We came here yesterday and there was no water! How beutiful a lake with no water. We we're supposed to go fishing😞 has anyone been here recently? Like if you can relate.

Nice campground! Loved the concrete path for walking and cement slab for level parking. Couldn’t really ask for more.

We rented paddle boards and it was a good time! Other people were kayaking and canoeing. Boats and people. Fun place for a few hours in the sun. If renting paddle boards, etc. Be sure to check online first or give them a call.

I'm so glad we decided to visit Lake Cunningham Park. It is very nice, clean and inviting. There ate two separate RV parks and one area designated for tent camping. Fishing, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and trails for hiking and biking. We had fun. I recommend this Park.

Wonderful campground, clean and great amenities. Only thing to be aware of is there is no swimming area. But best fishing I’ve had in the Omaha metro by a mile. Will definitely be back. Sites are large and and not crammed on top of one another.

Some one said the fishing sucks......maybe the fish just don't like you. Nice lake....unfortunately people don't pick up after themselves. Not the lakes fault. Thumbs up to the family tonight 9-13-16 picking up trash at the #3 entrance. Very cool !!

We haven’t camped here as they don’t allow tent camping much but the lake is beautiful and have a great time everytime we come.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at! All concrete drives and pads. We stayed on electric only side but the view of the water was amazing! Concrete trail is wide and well maintained. Loved seeing the sailboats, fishermen and bicyclist. We will definitely go back!! Very large campsites as well. Top notch!!

Theyve drained the lake because of the zebra musshel that theyve tryied four years ago to rid of them they also drained the lake poisoned and froze them only to fill the lake and stock it and while it was drained leveled out the whole damn lake on average 8 ft. Across the intier lake and has yet to put any struckture and or bedding for the fish they stock will have what it takes to repopulate and grow in population. Youd think that is what was to happen. Instead the lake has lost six years at least. Depending some on will it work this time or will it be drained again because the zebra mushel dont wish to give up just yet..

East C - Back In - Site - 54 Campground was well maintained. Water is city water and quality is good. Concrete pad was level but not very wide. Site picnic table was in good shape. The yard hydrant is a Woodford S3. Might want to research how it works if unfamiliar. There’s a nice frisbee golf course on site. This campground is new and in very good condition.

So peaceful. The water is gorgeous, and has such a soothing effect. The campsites are set up in a good way, so there's a really nice sense of community, but they're not so squished together that you feel like you're sitting on each other's laps. And the pricing is pretty awesome. Only $12 per night for a campsite, and only $17 for a site with electrical connections. Love watching the pairs of Canadian geese with their adorable fuzzy baby goslings :-) Definitely need more lake time :-)

Nice quiet place with no people traffic hardly

Traveling cross country we called the park last minute for a same day reservation for one night. We wish we could have stayed longer because this park was wonderful. We had site 54 which was a fully paved back in site with full hookups. The site was huge! 60x16 and backed up to trees and some water. Picnic table, fire pit and lots of grass and space between us and the spots on either side of us. Beautiful and well maintained park just outside of Omaha and near the main highways for easy access but feels very remote.

Lake Cunningham is beautiful! Amy, Ed & Clint are wonderful staff members and camp hosts. We have stayed at full hookup sites and an electric only site, which were both great! The grounds, bathrooms/shower houses were always clean. As a new RV family, most of our neighbors have been nice and it’s refreshing. We will definitely come back next year!

Quiet, loads of parties on the weekend nights. Dogs welcome on leashes, not all dogs socialized with other dogs, leashes mandatory. Showers,toilets, Porta-potty, 2 dumpsters, large campsite. Fire pit, picnic table at each site. Electric sites well priced. Reservations online only.

Run down,trash and graffiti all over,the park dept spends no time in upkeep of this park at all. Embarrassing to city of Omaha!!!

This place looks good and for a family would not be a good place because of the wild parties and the drunkards and the speeders and the loud overnights. Cold showers other than that it was just fine.

Don't just go there expecting to register and camp. There are new rules requiring pre-registration and use of a credit card over the Internet. There are no reservation capabilities at the Park. A sort of Catch-22. If you are contacted by anyone there, ask for identification! But WOW! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LAKE AND CAMPGROUND!!! Go there...check it out, It's worth the little extra effort to make a qualified decision that will give you a beautiful and incredible memory and place to return to.

Very nice campground! We were here for baseball tournament and really enjoyed the Omaha area. The campground was immaculate with beautiful water views. Very helpful camp host too. Would definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend it!

Campground is green and lush the bathrooms and showers are in poor condition but the lake, the price and the electric at the sites makes up for it. Sites by the water are real close and closer when it rains so book accordingly

Wonderful campground! We were here during the College World Series on the East C side with full hookups. Well spaced concrete pads and a good amount of shade trees. The lake is beautiful with a 6 mile concrete trail around it to enjoy the butterflies, dragonflies, birds and flowers. There is onsite staff who were all very kind. Bathrooms/showers are pretty basic but, this is a city park. Highly recommend.

I was told to leave because I dldnt Register online,isaid ill paywih phone they said your trespassing.You have to leave or be arrested and then we will through your gear in garbage.So Warning Dangerous.There was 20 open spots my dad called city they never returned call?Something is clearly illegal going on.sorry I go every year since begining sad.

We stayed in the new area with full hook ups and loved the area and space. The park is well maintained and enjoyed Disc Golf, walking the dog and cheering on the Triathletes participating in the Race Omaha event. Look forward to coming back again.

Nicely kept, clean, up tight, and top of the line perks. Only thing I think it needs is to feel like we are in nature still. So much manicuring of the place you forget your camping. No real camping feel just like a luxury parking lot. Also you have to make reservation's there is no other way about it. But for rv parking lot they offer the good stuff.

Cheap quiet Campground. The place needs some serious trimming.....dead trees and overgrown brush everywhere. Dust storm from gravel roads...you would think the county would improve and keep the place up.

We went paddle boarding here. Water was calm and pretty clear. Someone said there are others here. Didn't see any but they said they come out during the sunny times of the day.

Beautiful trails and the lake is always peaceful and scenic with the sailboats.

Stayed here for 4th of July holiday. Great place, clean and even has showers. Quite surprised to find out it was a city park

Love camping there. Peace and quiet right by lake and have room between other campers. Only bad thing is they don't have really hot water for the showers

We arrived late in the evening and someone decided to set up a camper at our site. She was not happy to move but did. In the morning I was able to see how beautiful the campground was. As the family started getting up, the park crew decided to mow the lawn next to us and around. It was hard to hear, couldn't open windows on the tent to change, and as we were strapping the last few things down one guy sprayed Round Up less then two ft from where we were standing.

It is a pretty good place to go fishing. I suggest not a windy day because you'll get the worst of it. Also not that much shady spots but other than that if you want to have a family event or something like that you should come here
