I have seen some great shows here! Even though I wish there were more hotels closer to the venue to make it a little more convenient but it’s in a cute little area and my friends loved the set up in the venue! Never a bad time at the waiting room! 🖤🎵🔉

First experience going to this venue and I’m not a huge fan. The show itself was pretty good, especially towards the end. It was a “Queen” tribute band and I think they did fairly well, just personally would have liked it more if they stuck to only queen songs and played ALL the famous ones and not random songs that I didn’t know at all in the beginning. The male lead singer that plays the character of ‘Freddy mercury’ was great and the keyboard, guitar and drum players were awesome -just didn’t really think a female singer belonged in a Queen tribute band. The part about the venue itself was that I wish we had gotten a table on the sides bc in front the stage lights move all around and hurt my eyes making it hard to watch the stage. We noticed other people having the same problem with the lighting. One bartender was VERY nice and poured decent drinks for the price. However there were some employees that were very rude at the end of the show IMO. Even though google lists their hours open until 2am, and the venue has a website that doesn’t list closing times anywhere I could find, (although they do list the show start times) be prepared to leave as soon as the show is over… even if that is at 10-10:30pm. We had friends that had purchased a drink towards the end of the show and we wanted to sit and finish enjoying the drinks, but we were made to feel very rushed and pushed out the door because “they were closed”.

Love this venue! It has all the old school vibes! Highly recommend!

Been to the Waiting Room a couple times over the years. Each time it’s been getting worse and worse. I went last night for Kidd G and had the worst experience. Getting in and waiting in line was a breeze. The lady who scanned our tickets was the nicest experience of the whole evening. When we went to the bar to get a drink the bartender rolled his eyes at us when asked what he wanted to drink. He then smashed the drink on the counter so hard it spilled all over me. When we got another drink from the other bartender he did the same thing. When he asked us our name on the tab we handed him our card because our last name is not easy to spell. When he went to see the name he said “That ain’t even a hard name to spell” and threw our card back to us. Not sure what was up with them but watching each interaction with each customer was just awful. They hated what they were doing and who they were helping. There was only one security guard in the whole place. There was so much underage drinking last-night it was horrible to watch. When the singer was onstage and asked everyone to raise a drink, you just saw the sky filled with “X” holding a beer for those who were underage. Let alone the guy who was standing next to us smoking a cigarette the entire night. Yes a whole cigarette!! The signer onstage had so many technical difficulties with the mic the entire time onstage. It was the worst experience of a concert I have ever been too.

Love the Waiting Room for smaller shows. It's a wonderful, intimate experience! I like that I have the option to sit down if I want to. The staff is friendly and drinks are cheap!

Loved the atmosphere! We had a great time with Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors! Seriously, in my Top Ten for concerts!

Great place for a small concert! It can get pretty crowded but it's not ridiculously overcrowded. I think its a 250 limit. Neat posters on the wall of past shows. Loved it!

I saw Yokelore. It was absolutely such a great show. It was intimate and wonderful. Enjoyed it so much and the bartenders were all very accommodating to me

Atmosphere is electric! Amazing! Pumps You up! They do lots of events or concerts here so overall the locations east to access and the room and space is great. The wrastlin we saw was really fun and they put on quite the show! Goooooo PWP Wrestling!

Love this venue. Very personal shows due to the size. Great staff, fair drink prices, there are a few tables and sitting areas if you arrive early. Great place to see your favorite bands.

Came to see Barns Courtney here. Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Drinks weren't overpriced with a nice selection on tap. Worth the trip from KC.

Loved everything about it! Drinks were cheap & I didn't have to pay for water we could go out & smoke & still be allowed back in no lines in the bathroom! Definitely going back!

First time here. Small music venue. Nice mix of seating and standing options. Several local bars and restaurants

The good is the bartenders security and front door all work as a team. Never any drama see security also helping clean up during show's. I like this venue but something's should change. This is the second time I've been here that it's an all ages show. Why are drugs being talked about over the mic like your ordering a drink. * I just did a line in the bathroom * Let's hear it for ecstasy * Like really this is what we are out here promoting? Just not a good look in general .

Cool little venue. Drinks are cheap and well mixed. The wait staff was friendly and quick. We saw a sold out Kay Flay show and the staff did a great job hosting. Good acoustics and an elevated stage. I would recommend this venue to anybody with a night off.

Great intimate venue.

We attended a wonderful concert there a couple weeks ago and appreciated everything about the venue, except not enough chairs for the crowd. The lighting and sound system or certainly acceptable once the sound mixer did what McMurtry asked him to do. Basic bar service where you went and got your own drinks, which was fine. We will certainly return when there is an artist playing there that is of interest to us.

We saw a great show here recently. The place was fairly packed and the A/C kept up to the point I was chilly in my tank top. The atmosphere was great, the sound wonderful. My only complaint was finding parking! :)

All types of music are being displayed at the Waiting room multiple times a week, some all ages others age restricted so make sure to check before show if under age. I lb. Like this place because of it's a utility to attract big names to a relatively small venue. This allows for yr favorite to be pretty up close and personal no matter where you are in the venue. It reminds me of The Ranchbowl in many ways, RIP.

What a gorgeous venue in the Historic Benson neighborhood. I just attended my first concert there and was blown away by how great not only this venue is but how cool the whole area is. ***New edit. Just left my third concert here and it's hands down an amazing venue that brings in some amazing acts. I'll be back.***

Great atmosphere. Sweet sound system. I stood front and center the whole show so I can't speak on drink prices, but the staff was friendly and the show was great.

Great venue went to the Dexter and the moonrocks concert here and a few other events.

Had a great time. Saw an awesome band I been following.

This was my second time to The Waiting Room, but the first time for a music event. The staff was courteous and attentive. The bands were diverse as was the crowd. The lights and sound system were impressive for a venue of this size. I would recommend this place purely based on how up close and personal you can get to the performing artists. The artist of choice the evening we attended was The Burgundy Boys (even though the venue was billing them as The Burgundy Brothers).

This place often has relevant acts that are coming to the Midwest. Out of not much to do in Omaha this is probably one of the spots to go to. The bartenders were fast, and the sound was pretty good. I definitely think I'll go back

Large, open bar with a venue for live music. The place was busy on Saturday night but not overly crowded. The wait staff did a good job of serving drinks. Would go back

Nice venue, great acoustics, perfect size. If you are not into squeezing into a stadium seat and being one of, 10K or people being entertained. Do yourself a favor and go to this cozy, but cool little place. You won't be sorry.

Amazing venue. Saw K. Flay for the second time here and it was an amazing show. Except for the train wreck of an opening act DJ and a couple of drunk morons, it was one of the best nights of the year. Amazing sounds, good drinks and great artists.

Rush Tribute Project and venue were awesome!!!!

Great local event space that gets a bunch of stellar acts. The Emo Night’s are really popular, not my thing but I recommend checking it out if you’re into that genre/scene. Sound system is good, and the soundguy’s usually know what they’re doing. Bar has good selection of domestics and craft beers. The ATM is old and I’ve had several friends have their cards eaten up by it, so get cash beforehand! People were boycotting this space because of racist booking policies, but I guess everyone forgot about that?

A lot of awesome shows happening here. Be sure to get tickets for popular events ahead of time because they sell out!

The band and all the staff were great! Had so much fun! Also, there was a time I didn't care, but the bathroom was spotless!
