We went to a smaller Omaha bowling alley last year and were disappointed with the cleanliness and just the overall vibe of the place. Last week was our first time at Maplewood Lanes, and we loved it (especially in comparison to the other alley). I was surprised it was pretty full even though we showed up right at 10 a.m. when they open, on a random January Tuesday. It wasn’t at capacity, but it was definitely hopping. The staff was friendly and helpful, shoes felt new and clean. Drinks were well priced as well. Will definitely come back.

Best place to take the family bowling. We have been coming here for years and everytime it's a great experience. The food is really good and the customer service is beyond amazing. Everyone is always so friendly. The kids love the cosmic nights. Great place overall.

Went here for a team outing a few years ago and we had a terrific time. Great lighting, really good food for a bowling alley and a bar that had a pretty good selection of drinks. We played 3 games and got a decent price for such a large group. Will definitely come back again!

We used the party room. Our waitress Brittany was stupendous! My drink was fantastic and the gizzards I ordered were some of the best I've ever had. All the other orders I saw looked fantastic too. I'll probably go back there to eat again even though I don't bowl.

This is no doubt the best bowling alley in omaha. For a competitive bowler like me, this alley is perfect. The lane conditions are absolutely wonderful. The machines are very consistent. For an everyday bowler or anyone looking to have a good time, this is the perfect place too. The employees are extremely friendly and very helpful. Overall I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

There is almost always a lane available other than during league. Drinks are good and for a reasonable price with a lot on tap. Sometimes it is difficult to find someone to take your food order but after that the food comes very quick. Bathroom, floors, and lane approaches are all very clean. Previously wrote that reserving a lane is difficult but have actually found that their online reservation is the best and most up to date with any deals they have. Reserve your lane and it makes everything so much easier, no need to process payment just straight to your lane.

Staff: polite, fast, informative, easy to ask questions Bowling: fun, love the unlimited Saturday option, hyper bowling is a nice twist on the game, the prices are not too expensive Food/Drink: Some food is better than others. I guess it depends on personal taste. The drinks are amazing. I requested an Irish screwdriver.

I like the decorations at the bowling alley it looks so pretty and festive with the bright blue lights. Also like how needed is to have different Lanes different colors and it reflects off the pins and the lanes. Thanks for being nice when we were there today.

This place is a lot of fun. The employees are super nice. Also surprisingly the food is good and I love that they have a big menu. Also doesn't hurt that they have a bar. Lol this is a cool place to come and hangout with adults or to bring the kiddos.

Great place to take the family, bday group, stag night or ladies night. They also allow work parties and offer all accommodations. I think prices increased but who's hasn't? Still reasonable. Very clean, including bathrooms. Has a separate full bar that's very spacious and awesome patio with lots of seating and large fire pits (gas). Smoking allowed on patio. Staff is abundant, friendly and helpful. Played 2 hours last Saturday with no glitches in bowling hardware. They have fun bowling themes at different times of day (disco, hyper, etc...) Kid friendly with bumper assistance on lanes and lane slides for little kiddies. Everyone's shoes were sized right, clean and looked brand new! Bowling has good seating, updated computer screens and displays with many styles of games to choose from. Food is really good bar food! Full menu served to order hot, fresh & big portions. We love bowling here and have been going for 6+ years.

Had a great time celebrating a birthday party. Booked two weeks in advanced and they were able to meet our request to have the far end lanes. Food was decent, drinks were affordable, and environment was friendly.

Excellent bowling spot! Very clean, you pay for time played rather than number of games which I prefer. Staff was very kind and helpful! I will definitely keep Maplewood Lanes in mind next time I’m going bowling.

Food was good. Bar service good. Some rude kitchen manager or cook scolded me for asking for mini pizzas to be cut into more than four slices. The bowling lane computers lack functionality because they don't rotate like they're supposed to.

Friendly and outgoing staff. They redid all the lanes. Taking great measures to ensure that it stays covid free.

  • 3/5 Tom B. 1 year ago on Google
Decent lanes. Not very well equipted for the crowd. Only one register for food. I couldn't order while bowling with 8 people on my lane, I'd have to bowl before I could get to the counter. I paid someone I knew to stand in line.

Really cool variety of interesting games, several of which utilize the bumpers. This makes the fun accessible for new and bad bowlers. The guy running the shoe counter was super friendly and nice. Lanes were well maintained. "Party room" was hard to find and felt like an afterthought. But they set up of nice spread of decent pizza and chicken wings. Bathroom was hard to find and a bit inconvenient. All in all this was a great place for a work outing and we had a fun time.

We had a group of people get together to celebrate my brothers birthday here. The atmosphere was fun, but the establishment itself seems a little dated and stale. The food was good and the staff was very nice! We had a good experience! It's worth checking out.

We went on Tuesday afternoon, we had reserved lanes the day before and it was hopping. As soon as we got there 15 min early they got out lane ready for us. We were able to bowl right away. One of our bowlers was unable to attend and they returned out money which was unexpected as we made reservations. (We spent the money their regardless on drinks and things.) The only downside was the ball finger holes at the 10-12 lbs did not fit my husband's fingers, so he had to use a heavier ball then he would have liked. And the photo booth ate my money and put out a picture that was not us. So we tried again and got one of us. Over all it was a fun experience and a great price. We will be going back again.

I rarely come to Maplewood Lanes as I don't live in the same town to frequent the establishment more. When I'm there the staff is friendly and happy to help with any questions. The lanes are properly maintained for daily play. I have played league at Maplewood, but from what I can see when visiting the league seems enjoyable. The alley also offers open bowling with challenging sport shot patterns on certain days of the week. Tuesday was the day I came out to try my hand at practicing a sport shot pattern. There is a beautiful alcohol bar to order drinks and a window outside the bar to order. The kitchen and grill offer a wide variety of food to order so people won't be bowling hungry. Overall a great bowling alley with other entertainment and amenities. Having a chance to practice sports shots is a huge plus. (The lanes are re-oiled for this part of open bowling) A side note, come early to sign up for sports shot open bowling as they seem to fill up quickly. Waiting time for lanes to be oiled can take some time away from actual playtime as well.

Awesome bowling spot! The lanes are nice. The equipment is top notch. The interactive screens for bowling are a lot of fun too. The restaurant / bar was fantastic as well. If I lived in Omaha I would be here all the time.

We had a great time. No complaints. Food, service, everything was efficient and they were knowledgeable. Easy to get the hang of the lanes.

I bowled here in high school for tournaments and for practice during the week before it was a sanctioned sport and years later, it is still my favorite bowling alley. Wonderful staff, delicious food (homemade ranch), and always clean. Good prices, too.

This has been my home bowling alley for 8 years! Jeanne and her staff create an unforgettable experience and take great care of the facility. I have never had a bad experience there. Whether you are a competitive bowler or looking for some fun with the fam, Maplewood has it all.

Maplewood has quickly become our favorite bowling alley. Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming, from the bowling counter to Neal at the bar! We also just joined a league here and are very impressed with how organized (thanks Jeanne) it is and much fun everyone is! We have a couple other alleys closer to our house, but Maplewood is well worth the drive for us!

Fun outing with the fam. Helpful and responsive staff. Their packages are easy so you know what you are getting for the price. Just wish there were more packages/options.

Giving this place 4 stars because besides the typical bowling experience the CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE FOOD WAS ABOVE AVERAGE...I could suggest playing a more diverse selection of music if I thought this would add to the experience... overall...I WOULD VISIT HERE AGAIN.

Great bowling alley with the added bonus of Neal and Mike behind the bar. They treat you like family.

Incredibly impressed by how clean this bowling alley is. Arguably the cleanest bowling alley we’ve ever been to. There is a temperature check at the door and their COVID cleaning protocols are solid. We were hesitant to venture out during COVID, but we were thoroughly impressed with Maplewood Lanes.

This winter keeps getting worse as time goes by, true to Midwest form. With a need to get out of the house, but with a need to be warm, we decided to go bowling! We purchased the family pack and, for about $85, 2 adults and two kids bowled for 2 hrs. Included were 4 shoe rentals, 1 large pizza, and 1 pitcher of pop. We were able to get in 3 games in those two hours. What a fun time to banish the polar vortex for a couple of hours!
