Returned recently. Service was excellent. They use torani syrups. My caramel latte was full of flavor with a rounded feel. Regret getting a medium. Should have gotten a large 😏 Located within the aksarben shopping area. There is free parking in the front but it can be very busy. ------ Previous review Beautiful coffee cafe in the Aksarben area. Many people were working away at their laptops. They didn't have any specialty drinks, but they did have Italian sodas, breves (I don't see that everywhere yet) and you can add flavoring to your coffee based drinks. Their syrup brand is torani. I ordered a decaf extra hot. I asked for it to be served at 180 which is what I normally get from other coffee shops. They missed the mark by over 25 degrees. I did say 170 was ok... But even then 15 degrees. After the coffee I wasn't feeling the best though. I feel like either I didn't get a decaf or it was contaminated with regular coffee beans... I'm not feeling great after having that drink. I'll give it 4 stars and hope that it was a over time mishap. The space is beautiful and my coffee, though not hot enough, did taste good.

Great location— very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent selection of coffee and a great menu. I really liked the atmosphere in this coffee shop and the coffee was quite good.

Excellent coffee shop in the Akersban village area of Omaha. Bright spacious interior with plenty of seating and nice decor. Staff is very friendly and service is quick. Coffee is very good and pastries are truly excellent. Opens pretty early which is convenient. Good location close to Stinson park and quite a few hotels, if you are in the area I would definitely recommend this coffee shop!

Roast is an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere with friendly employees, and impressively amazing coffee beverages. They’ve successfully mastered the art of making coffee approachable and trendy at the same time. If you want to buy local, this is the place to do so. You’ll be supporting all the men and women who’ve worked so so hard to make this vision come to life. The time and effort that has gone into perfecting every little detail really shows. Definitely recommend!

Driven by many times and finally made the stop the other day! What a wonderful coffee shop. The decor is so rustic, unique, and inviting. I'd guess the shop itself inside seats around 24 people, not super large like some, but also has a nice roomy outside patio. The staff is friendly, prompt, and manages to get a line that's back to the door served quicker than any coffee shop I've ever been to. Amazing! I ordered a pumpkin spice latte on this trip, because tis the season! And I was very impressed with the flavors and good balance of sweet and espresso flavor. The pastries that were displayed looked appetizing and freshly made. I didn't try any this trip, but seeing how little was left they must be delicious! Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Parking is no problem here as a side note, hassle-free, plentiful, and no charge!

Easy to pop in and get some work done at Roast! They have friendly people serving coffee who will give you great recommendations. Super close to UNO, it is a great place to study or meet up with friends. They have outdoor seating as well, and are a short walk from the park.

Great coffee, great service, great location. If you want just a regular cup of coffee? They got the good stuff. If you want a frozen drink with any flavor, whip cream and drizzle? They got the good stuff.

Great staff, clean environment, and a pretty cool place just to sit and chill for a minute or two. By far, though, what you need to know about Roast Coffeehouse is they have managed to create the BEST dark roast in Omaha! Seriously, it's pretty great and you should try some!

The coffee here is one of the best in Omaha. My hot latte, no syrup, with oat milk is rich tasting and satisfying. The baristas always her the order right!

Ive been a barista for a few years and have the love for espresso drink since day one. In my experience, only a few roaster in Omaha meet my expectation in quality of the coffee bean. So far the only place that I go to to buy Beans for espresso drink is the Rally Coffee. Their espresso roast is between medium and dark but more of leaning toward the medium but still dark if you know what I mean. Until I found out about "Roast Coffeehouse", I think I found my other options for espresso beans. First off, I dont like their recipe for drink. It is too light for me in term of flavor. I did ordered an ice mocha but to be honest, it felt water down. I then purchased the espresso beans and make a latte at home. I was very impress. The crema was very pretty and even produce tiger stripes looking crema. The taste seemed to be between medium and dark roast but this time, it is leaning toward dark but not "TOO" dark. I would definitely choose this as a spot to buy espresso beans beside the "rally coffee". I would say they both nailed the espresso quality tho. However, I would probably need to try another drink from their menu to see if its water down like my first drink. Other than that, its not my favorite place to order a handmade drink. Customer service wise, They are friendly and helpful in suggesting items and such. I like that they have big patio and the lobby was also clean. I would also like their coffee bag to be design to be more attracted and fun but its just a cosmetic thing. I would be down to design their packaging (im a designer) LOL.

Great place to meet and grab a cup of coffee. Plenty of menu options when it comes to coffee, as well as some tasty looking snacks! I didn't eat any, but they looked fantastic. Was greeted cheerfully when I arrived, and drinks were prepared well and quickly. A nice touch was then saying goodbye to me as I left. A nice treasure to have in Aksarben!

It’s a nice coffee house. I’m not sure how to really review a place that you get what you expect (and the surroundings are nice). I wouldn’t mind something on the floor or ceiling to help manage the noise level.

Roast always has the freshest coffee! One of the only places I can get brewed coffee that’s as good as I make it at home 😅. Super friendly folks and a nice place to work from…or avoid work!

Bring your own cup for a $1 refill! Also has loyalty cards for buy 10 get one free! Great coffee, strong espresso, and an assortment of delicious baked goods. This place is generally very popular even on weekdays so it might not be the best place if you are looking for a place to work quietly for a few hours. However, it does have ample seating, and I often see individuals with their computers plugged in.

HORRIBLE customer service. Stopped in for a cup of coffee while walking my dog on a cold winter afternoon and was immediately turned away by the staff at the front counter (specifically the kid with long red hair with the sides shaved). Obviously most restaurants and establishments have no pet policies, but there was literally, LITERALLY no one in the shop. Just wanting to get a cup of coffee, pay and leave in an empty establishment (which takes literally not even one minute) apparently wasn’t even in the cards. Dog owners, be ready to leash your pup up outside like a horse in the 1800’s I guess. Never getting my business after that.

Open space concept that still feels like a nice, cozy coffee shop. Drinks are top shelf: you can smell and taste the quality immediately. Also some of the best, possibly the very best, coffee beans for home brewing I've ever had. It's my go-to coffee shop in Omaha.

Great atmosphere, friendly service; and, absolutely love their pastries (especially the apricot croissants) and coffee/ espresso (the mocha breve is a favorite and so is their cold brew with cream and vanilla).

Staff is very nice and you can’t beat $1 drip coffee if you bring your own cup. But...the outlets. Ridiculous. You better come prepared with a charged laptop or you’re SOL. If you don’t know what I’m referring to...they lock their outlets. Their two outlets. It’s like hunger games out here to charge your device. It’s 2020.

I bought a London Fog. Tea flavor was a little weak for my preference, but it was still good and reasonably priced compared to similar establishments and menu selection. Will probably go back again.

I’ve been here a few times prior to today for coffee dates or meeting up with a friend and generally have had nothing bad to say about my experience or the coffee in the past. Today was the first time I came in to grab a cup of coffee to go while walking around with my dogs and friend. Unfortunately, the minute we came in they immediately turned us away because of the no dog policy, even though I only wanted to grab it TO-GO. I understand and respect places that don’t allow dogs in the establishment unless you have an ESAN or Service Animal. Even so, the majority of places in Aksarben (even the new Inner Rail) at least allows me to get my order then leave. This alone will deter me from coming back at any point in the future with or without my dogs, who are essentially my children.

I had the churro doughnut and it was sooo tasty! Next time I'll try the Pain Au Chocolate. I also ordered a medium hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. It was good but I wish it was a little hotter. However, I did enjoy being able to drink it without scalding my tongue!

I really love the coffee here and it is such a cute coffee shop. However Ive heard the baristas make sly and mocking comments about me on a couple of different occasions. I understand that the food service industry is completely draining, and I have experience as a barista so I understand that culture and environment. But, people can hear you talking behind the bar, it isn't sound proof. I won't be going back, because I feel like I am being judged there for just ordering a coffee.
