We love coming here for breakfast. Their cinnamon pecan rolls are the best I’ve e ever had or seen. The size of one is enough for two. It’s always so fresh and such beautiful flavor. We’re never disappointed. I had an omelette and my wife had some poached eggs with toast. The food came out fresh and fast. Everything was tasty and delicious. The staff was polite and very courteous to our needs. They never kept us waiting and they were on point. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Everything looked as it should and there was plenty of room for everyone. If your looking for a nice place for a good meal then farmhouse is a good stop.

They are only open until 2:00 p.m. now. That really sucks. Service was fast but that's because the crispy bacon we ordered was half way cooked bacon. I took it home so I could finish its cooking. Hashbrowns were cold in the middle. I had to take them home, too, to finish their cooking. Their food quality has gone so downhill in the last year and their prices have gone so high. I can't imagine what happened to change it all but it is not good. Add that to a really unfriendly, unhelpful staff. This was always a beloved place to go but not anymore.

It had been many years since enjoying a meal at The Farmhouse Cafe, but today was the day. A bowl of the soup of the day along with some croutons did the trick. The dessert case wasn't quite as tempting as it used to be, but that might have more to do with my aging as opposed to the level of goodness with those bakery confections.

We love the food and service!! Our favorite thing about FarmHouse Cafe & Bakery is their amazing (strawberry) wedding cake!! We get it for birthdays and just because. Best. Cake. Ever!! Sorry about the cake not being whole. Lol someone cut it before I got my picture.

We stopped in to satisfy a chicken pot pie craving & FarmHouse C&B exceeded our expectations! Our host team & waitress, Karen, greeted us and appreciated our visit. While my photography skills fell to the hanger craving, we managed to capture the quiche & pasta side dishes untouched, the pot pie suffered a small (but repairable) fork indentation, nothing to detract from the wonderfully warm dish! The salad hit the mark but the roll fell short in pairing with the salad & pot pie. Thanks, Karen & Crew for a pleasant dining experience!

I love going to this place whenever I’m in the area because the food is consistently good. The decor inside is nice, and it’s attached to mangleson’s so if you have to wait to get a table you can walk around in there while you wait for them to call your name over the speakers. The last time that I went here the special of the day was the chicken fried steak so that’s good hat I ended up going for, along with a side of bacon and a blueberry muffin. The gravy was a great consistency and full of flavor. The breading on the steak was golden brown and also had great flavor. The dish came with corn and mashed potatoes covered with a generous amount of gravy. I will definitely be returning to farmhouse just like I have been for years

My family and I were excited to eat here for the first time last week as I have wanted to try this restaurant out for quite some while. The service was good but the food was just okay. My son said his breakfast sandwich and pancakes were good but nothing special. My husband liked his potato skillet and I thought my ham and cheese egg scramble was good but the chunks of meat and veggies were too large. The fruit that cam with our dishes was very good but the cinnamon roll was not. Since I live closer to other breakfast restaurants, I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here.

Very shocked how we sat down, ordered right away and withing 4min the food was at out table. Tasty home style country dishes, plenty of food, GREAT service! Thank You Michelle! Coming again!

Delicious salads! A place my cousins, out of town friends and family often frequent and appreciate because of the variety of options. I liked the fried chicken salad recently when I took a vegan break. They are also good at vegetarian options. An omaha landmark restaurant with outstanding prices to boot!

I'm really sad about this review but it's the truth. My aunt absolutely loves this place she is homebound now so hasn't been in years. She always orders the same thing Honey fried chicken dinner. So that's what I ordered for her today along with a pork tenderloin sandwich with fries. I ordered it to go first red flag I ignored was it would be ready for pickup in ten minutes. The food was cold the chicken was not freshly cooked cause the middle of the breast was cold so I feel like I got left over chicken that was reheated I ordered right at 10am when the dinner menu started. Now for the tenderloin sandwich it looked like it had potential but no that to was cold it was either old or fried to long because the meat was chewy and didn't give to look of a real tenderloin but a minced meat patty. I could barely break it in half and will not be eating that. The fries I think they warmed them up in a microwave no way they touched any grease. wish it was better cause my aunt was really looking forward to this meal.

Yummy! This was the perfect example of the wonderful service you get when going to the Farmhouse. Walked in and received that smell you expect from smelling the most delicious baked goods in Omaha. The guy that is always there as the host was just waiting for us to come in and took us right to a table without a wait (yeah us!). Then, within minutes of being sat, our ver attentive waitress greeted us and took our drink order. Upon arriving with the drinks, we ordered our food. Within five minutes, we had our cinnamon roll, and shortly afterward, our food arrived. While eating our perfectly made chicken fried steak, hashbrowns, and eggs, Michelle (our server) noticed our drinks were getting low and brought us refills. Just love when I don't have to wait for a refill but just adore when I receive a refill before my drink is gone. Major kudos to Michelle and the kitchen staff!

Tasty food and kind servers! Been multiple times over the years and the food is always good and exactly what you’d expect! Reasonably priced and large quantities (can order half sizes for cheaper). The pastries and desserts are absolutely to die for deliciousness. I he cakes are always moist and fluffy just like their muffins. The cinnamon rolls are one of their top items there and for good reason and always warm and fresh!! Would recommend + I have noticed elderly seem to really really enjoy it extra for some reason so maybe take your parents or grandparents with you for a catch up:)

Had an awesome breakfast! The caramel roll was so delicious. Amazing smell as soon as you walk through the door. My server Alanna was very courteous. And very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place for a good breakfast!

We had a great experience today. The food was amazing and service was top notch. They were busy but handled everything so well. Karen our waitress was the best and the manager handled everyone and everything professionally and was so kind. We will definitely go back.

Had the pork tenderloin plate. Had to be the toughest fried tenderloin ever. I think it was the old cook time used on thinner cut of meat. Why didn't I send it back, complain there? If they recooked mine would it have helped next person? No! Maybe reading publicly they will quality check anything leaves the kitchen, not just 1 recook! Or maybe not....

Food was great as usual and service was very good. My only issue is lack of social distancing and mask use. Tables are closer together than 6' in many areas. Even though Omaha has a mask mandate, most customers waiting for to go orders and to be seated weren't wearing masks. Staff did not seem to be asking customers to wear one in the front area either.

My food was good and was ready quickly. The atmosphere does feel kind of like a bakery when you walk in and farmhouse like in the dining room. However, my server left something to be desired. While the food was good and came out quickly, the server forgot the toast, the Tabasco, refill for my son's apple juice, etc. It took several trips to finally get all of our meal.

I am incredibly late getting this review posted. I went for my 1st time back in June 2022 & Ive heard nothing but good things about this place so I was very excited to try it out. Regrettably, it was a major failure for me. I was basic and just ordered a burger & it looked very good. However, When the burger was brought to the table, while pleasing to the eye it did not smell good. Not sure if that was supposed to be the smell of “fresh” ground beef but I couldn’t tolerate it. I really tried. I took about 3 bites & left the remainder there.

Good food, decent price. Almost always a wait. Edit: Actually, I really don't like their breakfast. Their pancakes and french toast always take away my appetite before I'm halfway finished. Their bacon is good, but their sausage has a maple flavoring that simply doesn't work, in my opinion. I realize that a lot of people love this place, my fiance included, but I just cannot stand their breakfast... which is really frustrating, because I love a good breakfast. 10/20/23 update: another two barely touched plates.

We love having a late morning breakfast at Farmhouse Cafe. The service is always fast, and the staff is super friendly. With the good portion sizes, you'll never leave hungry. The in-house bakery makes the best cinnamon rolls in Omaha. Make sure to take some home.

Went on a Monday morning to avoid crowds and surprisingly still had a 10 min wait. The food did come out fast though! Service was fantastic, Kat was very friendly and efficient. We had our toddler with us, so we appreciated her hustle. Cinnamon roll was good, but a little effort in spreading the frosting around instead of just throwing a dollop on top would’ve made for a better presentation. It could also have been warmer. For $2.99, you can’t beat the price! Pro tip—on their egg combos that allow you to choose two items, cinnamon rolls aren’t listed (only toast, muffin, potatoes, pancake, fruit) but they let us choose it with no up charge. Totally worth it! We laughed because my husband ordered eggs with cheese and you could see the melted cheese slice on top. Interesting.. We later found out it was $2 to add that one slice. Never paid this much to add cheese, perhaps it’s inflation. Another interesting thing was we wanted peanut butter for our pancakes instead of butter and that was .50 more. I personally loved the pancakes but my husband was not a fan because of how doughy they were. They were definitely undercooked, but I like them more on the doughy side. Bacon was good. Eggs were just ok. Overall, “good” food, nothing special. No frills, just simple, mostly affordable breakfast food.

We had a most excellent breakfast here. All of our dishes were cooked to order. The food tasted like it was home-made and it arrived to the table piping hot. I really appreciate that. Our waitress was right on top of everything. Even though we were stuffed after having breakfast we could not resist stopping at the bakery on the way out to select a treat for later on.

Wow what a great place. Breakfast was just amazing. Great so we portions and took some home. Burt our waiter was very good. Always there with a coffee refill and gave us some good advice on menu items. Had one of the specials of the day Chicken Fried Steak breakfast oh man it was huge and so good. Hash browns were great as well. Finally just get the cinnamon roll don't think about it just freaking get it! You're welcome.

What a great find just off the highway. Skip Denny's and go one more block for this home town eatery. The smell of fresh baked bread hits you the minute you open the door. Terry was our server, he was fast and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. We left with a bag full of baked goods to take home to our family and friends.

Put simply, it's just not what it used to be. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food just wasn't very good. It was as though the food was under a warmer for several hours. Roast beef was dry, chewy, and tasted as though it had gone bad. The waitress did replace the French dip for another sandwich that was fresh. The cinnamon roll was hard and dry as though it was in a microwave too long. It terms of flavor, everything was very bland. We used to come here quite a bit, but I don't believe it would be a regular on our list of good eats. If the review was only about staff, it would be 5 stars.

The waitress was a delight! 5 stars for her!! Ordered the French dip. Meat like a rawhide for Fido. Luke warm. The establishment is older and it felt sticky. Not for me but maybe fine for you.

Service was phenomenal. Friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and came out quickly after ordering. Veggie omelet was heart and the quiche had a nice hollandaise sauce on top.

I've been a Farmhouse fan for many years but was very disappointed in the quiche special I had this morning. It simply tasted old, like it had been left out and allowed to dry. My raspberry muffin was delicious and delivered warm to my table.

We had an appointment close by so I chose this for lunch. Walking in makes me crave all the bread! It smelled delicious, and seeing the huge cinnamon rolls made my mouth water. I ordered the BBLT sandwich with honey mustard potato salad. Overall very good, but I could have used a few more strips of bacon. I felt the sandwich was a little lacking with the few a bacon strips, thick white bread, lettuce, and tomato. My husband ordered the crispy chicken casserole. I’m definitely going with a potato bowl next time! His plate was piled high with chicken strips, mashed potatoes, kernel corn, gravy, and cheese. We could have easily split this meal it was that big! I ordered a cinnamon roll to take home to our boys. They loved it! I can’t wait to go back and try a different pastry and possibly a slice of pie. When our families visit in a few months we are stopping by!

Employees of this establishment are NOT wearing their masks properly. They’re also not following the guidelines of the CDC. the cooks aren’t wearing masks either when they cook your food. If you want coronavirus farmhouse cafe is definitely for you :) there’s an older blonde lady that i have notoriously seen not wear a mask on every occasion.

Food wasn't up to par. Waitstaff was good. Staff voomed around more than I was comfortable with, we were at a table instead of in a booth.

The pasta maranara does not use spaghetti noodles as shown on the menu. They use penne. The noodles were also dry and too close to al dente and the sauce also dry and tasteless. I asked for the beef with it and they just dumped browned hamburger on it which only dried it all out all the more. The roll that came with it was just that. A plain dry roll. The salad that came with it was good but not nearly big enough. Would not recommend.
