Should have known how it would be from the sign when I came in the door. I know everyone is short staffed, but they could have said it nicer in the sign. Came for a happy hour. No one greeted us or addressed us when we came in. Had to find someone to get seated. Didn’t get a drink menu without asking. Martini tasted like water. Took 30 minutes to get shrimp cocktail and tuna poke. The grade of tuna in the tuna poke was terrible. It was so fatty we couldn’t swallow it without Choking on it. Waited forever for our bill, had to come in and find someone to pay. Majorly disappointed, definitely do not recommend.

The good. The patio is a great place to sit in the evening with the ducks and a good drink and appetizer. The bad. The patio needs work and has way too many lights that need to be replaced. The Planters have no plants in them but would look great if they did. The filet mignon I otdered medium rare came well done. Fix just a few things to get a 5 star review. BTW... Our waitress Lena was amazing.

Pretty flawless dinner. We had an amazing server. The only issue was certain menu items are incorrect in pricing. The server was not aware at the time and we did catch it and informed them who in turn informed management. We were told that it could be fluctuating, but this was after we paid and noticed the discrepancy My recommendation would be for the scallops. It's a decent amount and even for the 27 (menu listed it as 25.95), still worth the price. That being said, unless you really like lobster I'd skip the 22 addition (menu price said 21). The ribeye is another solid choice We felt the escargot was a bit bland compared to the other dishes. Parking is available in a decent sized lot. They have a large patio in the back that overlooks the water. There were ducks that came by and are super friendly.

My boyfriend is a professional chef (very VERY hard to impress) and he commented it was one of the best meals he has had all year. Still a great place. I have enjoyed going here over the years and will definitely keep going back.

Just discovered this place after 7 years in Omaha, and I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner. I have been twice now and lived it each time. It's a huge place with a big bar - perfect for game watching, large indoor dining area, and a large outdoor dining area. Food and service were great both times. Love the 2 lbs of mussels. It gets quite busy, so chose your dining times wisely.

If it was solely based on the blueberry pancakes, hands down a 5 star. The brunch menu u was great, so many options to choose from. The Bloody Mary was great and had 5 star garnishments. The service was a 2 or 3, the potatoes were a 2-3. My friend had the country fried steak and he said it was yummy! Still a nice visit and meal.

Definitely have to say it was a first to have chunks of shredded cheese in my salad AND it have mold and what looked like metal shavings inside the chunks of packed shredded cheese. The virgin strawberry daiquiri also had multiple full sized ice cubes in it like the bartender forgot how to use a blender. I had a ravioli appetizer. Entrees were 16oz top sirloin grilled Canadian Atlantic salmon. Over all the food that was prepared correctly was good. The steak was mediocre. Not surenifnit was quality related or not cooked properly. Ravioli and salmon were pretty good. Bread was melt in your mouth amazing. Overall the service was amazing. Server was very attentive and was on the ball. Server is the only reason the restaurant isnt getting a lower review. She earned that big tip. Need more inspection on your food. If that's what I got in my cheese makes me wonder what else is swimming back in the kitchen.

Overpriced. Owner is some chump from Canada who really thinks highly of himself when he runs mediocre restaurants at best.

The food was great. Came out hot and fresh. We sat outside and the view is nice and relaxing by the lake. The service was just okay.

Best lemon drop martini in town!!! Grouper Fingers are amazing, and server, Lexi, was awesome! Tables and patio floor could have been a bit cleaner... smashed food on the ground and stuck on table top. Otherwise, great experience!

Great food and service Was great food and service Recently I went for lunch and was horrible I ordered the Grouper. It was raw. I ate about a 1/4 of it already before I saw that. Verified with the waiter it was raw. He took it back to the kitchen. When I received it back I got it piled on to my plate as if they microwaved it and dumped it back on to the plate with extremely little care. First off I ordered fresh cooked food...Not microwaved... The waiter said "well you can't get sick from raw fish, but you didn't order sushi" yes, you can and yes, I did end up with some major stomach issues and who knows, but the only thing I had raw that week was their fish..... So..... Good luck to all. I did not finish the fish. I threw it away. I was beyond disgusted with the lack of service and drink refills and raw food

Love sitting outside looking at the lake with the ducks walking around the patio. Large tables to accommodate our bday celebration. Good date night place if you want a romantic setting. Food and service was good.

I've never said this before but our food was just disgusting. We had the cajun pasta wish was in smothered in soup instead of sauce. The chicken in it was boiled and tasted sooo old, it had an odd smell to it. The fried calamari tasted soo fishy and was incredibly chewy. I was excited to try this place, the outdoor seating was beautiful but the food was just so bad.

There were 3 of us dining. 2 were very satisfied with their meals. Steak and chicken entrees. Fish was too heavily breaded would not order it again. Generally speaking it is a nice place for a quiet casual dinner.

Our daughter recently had her wedding reception in the banquet room at Charlie’s on the Lake. We couldn’t be happier with the food, service, staff, and atmosphere!! Everyone was extremely accommodating to our needs. Plus, it’s an absolutely beautiful place for a reception!! Many of our friends expressed how very impressed they were with Charlie’s. Thank you so much!!!

Your fried calamari pieces were so much better than tentacles used to be. Wish you'd get the calamari steak you had first time I ate there years ago, I had the special CALAMARI PARMESEAN, it was wonderful. I wish your bread loaves would go back to full size. Your birthday cheesecake sampler was WONDERFUL made the perfect end to our birthday outing.

This restaurant is generally a go to place every time I visit Omaha. We were a party of 4 on a Thursday night. It wasn't too busy. I was craving seafood and the grouper hit my palate just right. I think it's pretty pricey and they rarely have the sports channel that allow me to watch volleyball

Loved this place! Sat on the patio and enjoyed some shrimp picatta. It was amazing. Some of the best shrimp I’ve had that wasn’t near an ocean. Would definitely come back!

I can’t believe we were charged $1.50 for a small plate so we could split our food since medically I cannot eat very much. The only thing good about this place was the lake and ducks. The prime rib did not look appetizing at all, and it was drowned in some sort of au jus. This was our second visit, and will be our last. Very disappointed.

The food is very good. Five stars! But I took away one star because it's overpriced for what you get. Service was excellent. The drinks were well made. We had a great experience there.

I rented the Lakeview Room for my wedding reception and it was phenomenal. Our server was great and even took some pictures of the group for us. The server and manager were both super helpful throughout the planning and the execution of the evening. The view of the lake is wonderful as well. I would absolutely have another event here in the future.

Had an excellent dinner with friends the other night. The Cajun Grouper was great as was the clam chowder. The server did a great job for us. Prices were reasonable.

My wife and I hosted a small wedding reception in their banquet hall last week. All we could say after was wow. We had 30 guests. Everyone's food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, the desserts were excellent, the service was excellent and the owner and staff were very accommodating to us. The best crab cakes, and best lobster I've had in a long time. The Omaha Pasta was also phenomenal, and the prime rib was great! We will be back, over and over and over! Thank you Yves and all of your staff!

Table of 8 on New Year’s Eve: the restaurant was very busy We were seated on time with reservations at 7:30 and received drinks and appetizers in reasonable time. We all had delicious meals . Maria was our waitress and she was great!

This place seems like a great candidate for the bar rescue show... its past its prime, but still charging a premium. I had the scallops, and wouldn't recommend.

Loved the lobster roll. Calamari was a bit greasy but still good. Good amount of food for the lunch special and price.

Num num num num... it's good. They're good about suiting the meal to your likes. You have to try their Cajun boneless wings. Oh so good. I wish I could spritz a little of that juice on me... then my wife might not avoid me as often.

FANTASTIC!!! W had the best dinner experience here, and were very well taken care of by our amazing server, Joey!!! We ordered the Jackson chicken (blackened chicken Alfredo, DIVINE!!!) and the Prime Rib (au jus was perfect!!!) our food was phenomenal, came out perfectly paced, and was delicious! We had such a wonderful meal, and everything tasted perfect, from the potstickers and the salads, to the amazingly soft and perfectly baked bread that came with the meal. The flavors of everything were well seasoned, not too heavy and not bland, and the meats were expertly cooked, tender and moist. Everything about the meal was perfect, I only wish I had room for dessert!!!

Excellent service and food! I had their steak salad and it was delicious. Meat cooked perfectly! My friend ordered their shrimp scampi and said it was very good too. The salad that came with her order was a complete meal by itself!! We sat on their patio by the lake and enjoyed a few glasses of wine with our meals.

My second visit to ChArlies. Good food and great service. Our waitress Cassie was wonderful ! We were lucky to have Cassie as our waitress both times.

I have nothing but good things to say about our experience at Charlie's. We made reservations and were seated right when we walked in, waited on promptly and everything after that was great. Our food was Amazing! It all arrived with good timing between dishes. Our waiter (Joey) was fantastic! My first time, my husband's 3rd over many years. We will visit again!

We were sooooo excited to try the lobster alfredo and Charlie's grouper. But we aren't going to spend $30+ per entree at a place that ignores us for the first 30+ minutes were waiting at our table... went to Johnny's Steakhouse instead, got seated and drinks served right away, and food is top notch.

I showed up this evening excited about trying the a new place. Much to my disappointment we arrived at 9pm to locked doors. The website said closes at 10 pm and the door on the establishment said closes at 10pm. We were not admited to the establishment. A worker told us they were closed. My suggestion is to please update your hours on your website and on your door in respect to cutomers coming from far away.
