Veteran owned coffee shop with military discounts. We went as a group. They currently have a Groupon offer which is great to get if you want to try this place out. I would be back. The breakfast sandwiches were all very good and large. I'm hesitant with sausage sometimes because I've had quite a few mediocre ones lately. This sausage was better than most. Not too peppery (think scooters). Our favorite was the breakfast tartine with the bechamel sauce. The coffee is good with sizes from 16 oz to 32 Parking is available in a large lot. It is in Millard (SW Omaha) If you have kids, in the back they have a play area with bar seating so you can watch your child while you have your coffee. They also have a drive through.

We love this place! The coffee is great, and the breakfast burrito is delicious and big enough to share. The best part about Green Beans is the play room in the back. Our toddler loves coming here and playing with all the toys and books, and the staff are always so friendly with him. This is a great little business in Omaha run by people who care. It's our go-to for a little family outing!

Fantastic, local and unique coffee shop in the west suburbs. Coffee is tasty, delicious. The menu is the right size. I like the atmosphere, it is cozy and I enjoy working with my laptop there. Their breakfast burritos are really good. I wish they had a bigger patio!

I stopped by for the first time today on my way to Walmart. I got a caramel frappe and holy cow it was amazing. So creamy, lots of caramel flavor. This is my new favorite coffee place.

The vibe was fantastic: ammo boxes, skulls, and pallet board walls with a lending library. Made my military brat heart smile.

I've been coming here for a few years now and the service that I receive has always been impeccable. My first experience with Green Beans was downrange so this place was once a respite and haven for me. Now, I can enjoy it back home and I still enjoy myself. Quality product, quality service, quality environment. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.

Can't say enough great things about this location/coffee shop! The staff is friendly and attentive, always smiling even when you can see they're swamped with orders. The coffee is rich, robust, and delicious. The inside of the building is designed to feel welcoming and warm and has a good historical background on the owner. They even have a few kids areas, so you can enjoy your coffee while the young ones play with toys. We switch from being regular Scooter drinkers to greenbean because the flavor difference was significant enough to warrant the change, in my opinion. Love this place!!!

Great atmosphere, great coffee! Comfortable couches to catch up with an old friend or have a lunch date. They serve breakfast food, too!

Edited: Amber reached out to us almost immediately after placing this review. She apologized for the way my mom was treated and took the time to use our experience as a teaching tool for her employees. She went above and beyond to correct the situation. We appreciated her customer service. . We normally have a great experience here , but the last few times have been less than we have come to expect. My mom is visiting from out of town and normally loves going to this place because they make a great drink. She is from Seattle and has even ordered their beans when she got home. The last 2 times she has gone in to get her drink there have been issues. She normally gets a 16 oz mocha quad split shot with 1/4 chocolate iced with light ice. The first time she was given a 16 oz cup half full with espresso, chocolate and ice. She asked why there wasn’t any milk and she was told because it’s a mocha. She asked them to please fill the rest of the 16 oz with milk. The next day she went one of the baristas informed her that they were not authorized to put milk in her drink and then continued in a condescending attitude to instruct her on how she should order her drink. My mom then ordered her drink the way the barista told her and when the drink was delivered it was obviously wrong because it was in a 32 oz cup and tasted like chocolate milk. She asked what it was and the barista said it’s what she ordered and my mom said she ordered a 16 oz. The barista then said that she didn’t give a size so she made it a large. Now 2 days previous to these experiences I have gone in and ordered the same drink for her and they were made perfectly. Not sure if there are new baristas or what but my mom did not appreciate the rude condescending manner in which she was treated.

Best coffee around! I used to go to scooters before work everyday but have since stopped since I discovered Green Beans! The extra drive time is worth it. I used to always get the caramel latte, but have since branched out and have tried what the barista’s recommend. I have yet to try something that I haven’t liked.

Variety of breakfast and baked goods. Friendly, low-wait time service. Fireplace, comfy couches/chairs or table and bar stool seating. A business born out of a mission to support those serving in the military.

Green Beans catered a lunch event for the non-profit I work at. Amber was fantastic to work with, wrapped every sandwich/wrap individually AND labeled each one. The food was delicious, fresh, affordable, and huge portions! Look forward to working with Amber and her team, again, and stopping in the Millard & Bellevue locations!

The coffee is delicious. I've had a latte, cappuccino, and their daily roast and have enjoyed all of them. They have a small patio outside, fireplace inside, lots of seating, and a play area for kids. Their play area for kids is amazing. There's a bar with tall chairs with glass windows overlooking the child play area. As a mom, I really appreciate this. I can enjoy my drink, chat with a friend, and keeping an eye on them while they entertain themselves.

Service is great, they offer military discount, the big breakfast burrito is delicious, but the lattes are kind of generic.

About to stop there in the morning and get coffee now that I'm retired alright I can ride my bike down to him and have a little bit more leisurely time to drink my coffee

  • 3/5 Anonymous 1 year ago on Google
It was okay. The caramel latte tasted a bit like a yummy chocolate milk. It was good, but not really what I expected from a coffee type drink.

Best breakfast burrito on the planet!! (Okay, I'm embellishing a bit😁). They are awfully good. Be sure to add sausage. Regular black coffee is smooth and perfectly roasted for my tastes. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Great work to all!!! And thank, guys, for your service to our great country!!!

Nice small coffee shop with a good number of soup and sandwiches along with pastries. The sourdough soup bowls are fresh made. The hot tea is adequately strong but I would suggest removing the tea bags before drinking to reduce the bitterness. I am told the coffee is good. The staff is attentive, but if you don't hear your drink called out, it may stay there a while.

Love supporting my local stores and I am so lucky Green Beans is 5 minutes away from my house. My iced mocha is ALWAYS made the same and they never run out of top items. Consistency is important! Every barista is friendly, fast, and kind. As long as they are around they will always be my go to. Loyal customer for 3 years now and plan on staying one.

This place is AMAZING! Save your money from Starbucks and come here instead! The coffee is sooo good and they have so many sizes you can choose from. This is the 20oz and it’s absolutely perfect. Also the smoothies are to die for…I get them for my kids but find myself stealing drinks from it because it’s so good! & don’t get me started on the burritos! Holy moly….just do yourself a favor and try this place.

Literally the cutest little hideaway coffee place in Omaha. The best chai smoothies, too. Always a good experience whenever I stop in and for what you get, the price is very fair. Try the oatmeal raisin cookie, too - excellent.

Green Beans Coffee Shop is without a doubt my favorite place to grab a cup of coffee or tea, a muffin or sandwich. Family owned and operated it feels like home when you stop in or pull thru the drive thru and are greeted by Amber or one of the other friendly baristas. The coffee is always amazing, the homemade muffins are fresh and delicious and the employees and John the owner are the best!

This is a great place to get a cup of coffee or a way above average bite to eat. Everybody who works here is friendly and it’s definitely not a run of the mill corporate move along and give us your money kind of a thing. Pro military/family friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely my favorite place to get coffee! Not only is the coffee amazing but the lady that works in the mornings is what makes my day! She is always in such a good mood and is so friendly! She is my favorite part of going there in the mornings and it's so nice to be greeted by someone that is so positive and happy! I work in customer service and it's hard to find someone as wonderful as her! Have a great holiday and please let her know she is doing an amazing job !

Every time I am in Omaha I make it a point to stop at green beans coffee. The coffee is the best I’ve had, and I even buys some grinds to have at home! I haven’t had something from there that I didn’t like, food included. The staff are always extremely nice and welcoming. And the atmosphere of the shop is very nice. I highly recommend Green Beans Coffee to everyone!! Plus, it’s a bonus that it helps support the troops!

Green Bean is one of the best coffee shops around! They make the best Chai tea! Great staff and the owner is a Veteran. I drive 20 minutes to get to Green Bean, passing several other coffee shops along the way, they are worth the drive!

Good coffee, good people. Manager Amber may be the hardest working person in Omaha. If I had a request, I'd love to have some free time to talk to everyone, (but I'll have to train myself to come at a slower time.)

Superb breakfast stop. Try the croissant! The coffee is obviously voted as a local favorite for a reason. And, the service is so friendly. Thanks!

  • 5/5 Ella K. 3 years ago on Google
Driving through NE on my way back to PA and wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast. Found this place by a quick google search. The employees were friendly and willing to answer all my dumb questions. Got a croissant sandwich, which was a very sizable portion and tasty! And I got a vanilla cold brew with soy, which was very, very smooth! The vibe was much like the one I get from Nebraska in general.. cozy and like everyone lives just a little slower. So relaxing inside! Loved it and definitely recommend.
