The fishing use to be great 6 year's ago. Now individuals continue to break the law, catching bass that are under the size limits and keeping them. Netting fish for bait. Leaving trash all along the shore line, beer bottles, empty containers.Individuals believing they have the right to park on the grass, breaking the law. Drug dealers hang out, sadly, also a place for drunks to frequent... Not even close to the lake I use to know.....

Live less than a mile from park played there as a child. I've seen it in better condition as far as smell and pollution is concerned. Especially the lagoons near the main oxbow lake in Levi Carter Park so many used tires and the stench of dead fish.They are in dire need of a dredging/clean up intervention. It really concerns me that so many people are fishing in such deplorable waters.

Location is very convenient to the Omaha downtown. This lake has a huge potential to be a great place for beauty and relaxation. But people who visit this lake leave so much garbage directly on grass, many brokers glass battles on the sand directly next to the lake. People you are destroying your own beautiful lake in the heart of the city. Very disappointing, because it is truly a very nice place to come.

Great place for family and friends to get together. Awesome new lil water park for the kiddos.
