State of the art facility with many amenities, however it's tanking quickly. Many amenities have been removed and most of the time they are closed even when the gym is open. With monthly premiums being as high as they are one would think it would be managed better but don't get your hopes up. I'm sure corporate components are to blame for this because the staff has always been great, friendly, and helpful. Really love the gym, so hopefully there are some changes for the better coming down the pipeline.

We have been going to this club for a very long time. I’m ONLY giving it two stars instead of one because of how much we love the facility itself. Unfortunately, that facility is being run into the ground by the corporate greed of ‘Lifetime’. All that was good about it is slowly being taken away piece by piece. The focus of this review is going to be the whirlpool hot tub. It is a huge hot tub; the biggest you’ll ever find. The problem is that it has two massaging waterfalls that cascade beautifully out of the walls. It is magical. Sadly, the company decided they didn’t want to invest into it’s upkeep. So they shut them down permanently. Now, the hot tub is lackluster even compared to their other locations in different cities, due to the fact that not only is the main feature now gone, but the regular jets are underpowered, and some don’t even work. There are little holes in the floor for water bubbling action, which have not worked in years. It’s also dirty and reeks of too much chlorine. Did they ever ask members if it would be alright to remove the waterfalls? NO! Most people didn’t even know until they were unceremoniously shut off one day. People LOVE those! You won’t find anything else like it in the whole city. Of course they won’t charge us less for removing amenities we are paying for! I truly hope ‘Lifetime’ regains it’s senses and decides to repair those waterfalls, not to mention address all the other issues with the management of the club.

New member went the first time solo and the second time I brought my kids 2 and 5 with me. I thought they would have fun in the kids club but they never want to go back. My 5 year old on the way home told me how big kids had trapped him in the big play juggle gym and were shoving him kicking him and not letting him out. The group of big kids also told him not to tell any grown ups what they were doing. My son escaped and went to find a grown up and says he couldn't find one. My husband went back up to the gym to cancel our membership and talk to the manager about the incident but apparently they can't be bothered. No one should have to experience this when leaving their child somewhere that is supposed to be a safe space. I worry what may have happened to my 2 year old as he was in the same area as my 5 year old playing in the same jungle gym. No one was close by to hear what was happening or stopped it or even mention to me if they knew what had happened. Completely unacceptable.

Love this gym and most of the staff is very friendly. Only docking it a couple of stars due to the hours. With the prices as high as they are it’s understandable due to inflation. I just think there should be a compromise with how much we are paying and the hours should be extended to at the very least 12AM or 1AM. It has gotten very busy these last three months or so and it’s hard to get a workout done due to machines being in use all the time. Other than that it’s my second home and it’s a good experience.

The gym may be nice and they may have lots of activities to take part in but their monitoring of the pool is almost nonexistent during the day and completely absent at night during adult swim. I’ve witnessed, multiple times, lifeguards not paying attention to what’s going on in the pool during the day - on multiple occasions seeing lifeguards actually pushing kids in the pool. Right now, it’s slightly after 8pm and I’m watching six teenage age boys, under the age of 16 and unsupervised, being disruptive and obnoxious, using loud foul language and breaking rules left and right like climbing up the slides and crawling over gates etc. On other occasions, I’ve seen the same immature boys climbing up and jumping off the lifeguard chairs. Nobody ever watching. This is not a family friendly environment or a safe environment to be around. This is a real problem. So incredibly disappointed in how the pool is run.

We’ve been members for the better part of 15 years. Mostly good over that time, but the value just isn’t there like it used to be. More and more of the gym is being converted into areas for paid services leaving less and less space for general members that already pay quite a bit. Many of those classes blast music polluting the space with noise. The space that’s left is also being altered and feels both claustrophobic and overcrowded after recent changes. The facility itself is starting to show its age as well. On the good side, Jim and staff are very friendly and helpful. Hours are good and the overall environment is open, light, and airy.

Jim was my hero. I needed to stay in Omaha to help a friend and he helped me with a reciprocal arrangement with my home club.

Beware Men & Women I guess. Someone is going into the locker rooms & getting your combinations, using there phone to zoom in while your opening your locker, then breaking in your locker later and taking your credit cards then going to Walmart by gym and other places & spending large amounts of money on your cards. Relative just had $2,500 charged at Wal-mart after a man was seen around his locker. Be careful with your locker code numbers because the thief is on the prowl. As for the thief your on camera at Walmart so it's just a matter of time so I hope you enjoy your last free days.

What once was best gym in metro area is now trash. Over priced, constant hidden fees waste of money. Was a member for 10+ years gladly going else where after the constant price hikes, constant broken equipment and over all trash customer service as well as amenities. Save your money and headache go Genesis or anytime:)

When I first came to lifetime time I was in awe. The place was big it was fabulous and I was welcomed with open arms. Everyone was so helpful. There was a person here who was going to take all my paperwork from having physical therapy and make a program for me after checking twice three weeks later I still had no word as to a program. So I thought I would strike out on my own. I finally found a treadmill and someone showed me how to work it. Try to find a machine where you can lay on your back and push up with your legs finally found one that I could use but somebody had roosted there and was staying there. The next day I came to use the pool. Finally got instructions from someone how to get in. Most pools have a stair system of some kind but this has archaic rectangular holes in the wall that you have to walk up and down to get in and out.. I had a cortisone shot in my knee and cortisone shot in my shoulder and two months of expensive therapy. In an attempt to get out of that pool which took two women to push me I finally got out and in the process undid all those two months of physical therapy.

Love the classes with Beth. They have a daycare for the kids, which is nice. They don’t let you use the quiet rooms anywhere. There are several empty offices they could let you use if they wanted to, but they don’t. They blame the fact that they don’t have a business center like other gyms do, but honestly it wouldn’t be hard to solve this issue if they were customer service oriented. If you need to take a business call, your best bet is to go to your car.

A day pass should be $20 tops not $40. For my boyfriends birthday I wanted to surprise him with a day trip however with managing money it couldn't happen. Bummer!

It’s a bit cramped, sure it’s a big gym but there are no clear walkways between machines. They pack way too many people into the yoga classes as well, the yoga instructors are great however. The cafe looks good but they don’t accept Apple Pay which is a bit ridiculous so didn’t get to try the food.

My wife and I joined about 3 months ago mostly for the pool use as we have younger kids. The pools - both indoor and out are exceptional. The lifeguards and pool staff do an amazing job keeping the areas clean, safe and a fun family environment. We do not really use the locker-rooms or the workout facility but from what I have seen they are the best you are going to find. Lifetime gives us a great way to spend family time and provides a lot of value for your dollar.

Had a blast here swimming with my family! Went with a group of 11 and there was plenty of space even with the pool packed. It was my daughters first experience in an actual big pool like this and made some great memories!

Best gym in the area! Classes are great, lots of machines and weights, fun activities for kids, the indoor and outdoor pool areas are crazy cool, the locker room is like a spa(though a little too much eucalyptus in the steam room-eyes a bit burning), the staff are friendly and they have delicious drinks and treats at the cafe!

Awesome, Customer Service! Jeremy went above and beyond as I had left my rental car keys inside after they had closed so nice folks in the parking lot helped knock on the doors and wave him down. Well I ran around the back. Thank you Jeremy I really appreciate it! I really didn’t wanna have to walk back to my parents house.!!

My apartment is facing lifetime on 168th and center (Omaha), and we have had to endure 2 summers of parking lot repairs and at least 2 x a week an early morning wake up of a truck that socks something so foul that it makes us nauseous. Enough!

I had just went into the gym with my friend we are both 17 and wanted to try out the gym. when i walked in i had told the man at the front desk i wanted a day pass for both me and her and told me it would be 40$ a piece, which was fine. So, he took me around the counter to pay and or start getting signed up with a liability sheet and then asked how old we were and said we had to be 18 to get a day pass on our own when he should’ve started with that. i would be less upset if he mentioned that in the first place but after the fact that we were already halfway in wasn’t right. like i currently work at genesis so i understand gym policies but 18 is kind of crazy. Especially since online you can get a membership at your gym in the “26 and under” and the age limit rages from 14yrs old and up.

I love the atmosphere and all the amenities LifeTime has to offer! The tall ceilings, airy spaces, beautiful finishes... My favorites are the steam room and the saunas. Their app makes it very easy to book classes and they offer a variety of group activities!

Decent amenities. They are slow to replace our upgrade equipment. Lack many of the items available in the twin cities facilities.

Best gym in Omaha, has the most amenities and great for kids, sometimes will get busy at times but never unmanageable

This place is huge with everything you can imagine for a gym. There is good male female ratio and good diverse age representation, I always walk away feeling I had a good work out and yet revived by the pleasantries offered. I completely recommend life time to anyone looking for a gym.
