I’m done with Boys Town hospital! My son, who has asthma, was refused a note to have his inhaler on him after two asthma attacks until his doctor was back from vacation! The doctor, who was going on vacation for two weeks, didn’t refer him to a different doctor or nurses assistant: she did absolutely nothing. In the seven years she’s been his doctor, she held a note from him to keep his inhaler on him or at the nurses office. We didn’t ask for medication, tubing or a machine, just a life saving note to carry his inhaler with him at school! We need something or to see someone for an action plan but we were told nothing can be done until his doctor is back from vacation. Since I don’t have the luxury to stop worrying about my child. We will go somewhere else!

I will start with, do you really care about your patients? And the answer is a big bold NO! You care about your physicians who are late to this appointment. This is amazing to see a doctor who is more than 15min late to the appointment and I had to make the decision by leaving as my time is important too, is making the decision not to see my kid at this hospital and is banned from it. I know if patients are late then the appointment evokes cancelled but it the physician is late then nothing happens. This is not the 80s or the 90s that this would happen and no one would care. This clearly is a decriminalisation. I am not recommending this hospital to anyone. If you still try to go, you will know and will have to come here to share your thoughts like me.

I had outpatient surgery at this facility and could not have been happier with the experience! I loved the private rooms, rather than curtain-shielded cubby holes that offer no privacy or peace. My assigned nurse, Autumn, was great in her duties of caring for me. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Nelson, was very adaptable and accommodating to my particular circumstances, and I felt heard when expressing my concerns. The surgical nurse, Alissa, was kind enough to introduce herself and her 'friends', helping me feel comfortable in their hands.

I was very happy with all of our care! My daughter was the patient and I am very appreciative that they talked to her and not just over her. I informed my daughter of everything happening so it was nice that the nurses treated her the same and talked to her as well as us! Thank you thank you for making this a smooth process!

Our son had eye surgery on December 8th and they did an amazing job! He was calm and relaxed the whole time! When he woke up, he’s been doing well. Same with today. Just wanna thank everyone there for being amazing and awesome!

Overall I’ll never bring my child back, my experience with them was almost 5 years ago and I still think about the cruelty of the staff to this day and find it really hard to trust any medical staff for my children. I just thought I would post now to save any other parents from the utter disrespect lack of care and attention to the family. Very much so money, oriented organization could care less about the person behind the bill.

This review is strictly for the billing department. Customer service is terrible, they are clearly over billing me and not submitting thing correctly and refused to help with the situation. Basically the supervisor told me its my issue and would not even take the time to contact the insurance company to look into it. I even paid the bill then they refunded the money and then sent me another bill. Watch your billing statements I'm sure this is not the first time. The Doctor they listed on the bill as a specialist isn't even a Dr.

Had tubes put in my ears today and in the middle of the surgery was very aware because they did not keep me sedated adequately. I wonder how many children they do this to just want to let everybody know it is excruciating

Our 3 year old has had 5 surgeries , and 1 relatively minor procedure today. We feel so grateful to have the entire Cranio-Facial team of specialists in one place, each of them taking the time our son needs, and each doing a wonderful job. The hospital and staff has been a God send, and made our tough times easier on us as our son deals with the bumps and bruises life can give sometimes. Thanks Boystown, from check-in folks to surgeons, and every single staff member in between

The way Dr luo listened and understood what I was saying and didn't talk to me like I was stupid and didn't understand anything. First time that I felt there was a doctor in my son's corner. Wish I would have started with him years ago, instead of childrens hospital. Honestly can't say just how wonderful and refreshing the doctor and staff was. Absolutely thrilled with everyone we spoke with. Hands down the BEST experience with a doctor and staff that we have ever had.

Dr. Puttioni is the best! We’ve been with him for almost 10 years. He actually saved my daughter’s life and removed a brain tumor. BoysTown is lucky to have him. When we went to BoysTown a few months ago all the staff was great. We didn’t have to sit and wait. Everything was on time.
