This is my Thai favorite restaurant now. The foods are authentic and service is very nice. The owner cook and she come out to say hi with big smile. I definitely love this place.💛🧡

What a nice place to spend a lunch or dinner. The inside has been completely redone and is inviting and clean. I'm a fan of the pad thai!

Broccoli noodle 3 stars I asked for pad see ew and was told to order this. The good news is it's a lot less greasy than most other places I've been to. Much less oil was used. As I ate it I just didn't want to keep eating it. I've just had better elsewhere. Egg rolls 5 stars No complaints. Chicken skewers 4 stars They were good. They didn't stand out. Chang Mai dinner? 3 stars It didn't stand out and it's not something i would probably order again. I could eat it if it was placed in front of me, but if I'm counting calories I might not. I can see some people GPS warning: it sent me to a different parking lot. Not the right place Parking: there is a small private parking lot available. Service was fine. They did look concerned when they saw how little I ate of my meal and asked. I said it was "ok" and they proceeded to explain to me about the dish and how it was and maybe I would like something else more in the future. Decor is an odd mix with not much tying it together. It was a clean environment though. The reason I'm giving it a 4 is because my friend highly recommended it, and a 4 means I would return to try more. In this case I'm wondering if I ordered the wrong things because our tastes aren't normally this far apart. So hopefully on my next visit I find More positive items.

Food: Had the papaya salad and the spicy noodles with beef. Both were excellent! The spice level offered was 0 to 5, but I ordered a 10. It was just right The papaya salad was very clean with no fish oil flavor, and I really enjoyed that. The spicy noodles were cooked perfectly and slightly al dente. The proportions were just right for me; I left feeling full, but not too full. Service: Very friendly and fast service. I never felt rushed or ignored. Atmosphere: well lit with soft, bossa nova music. Felt very relaxed and calm. This would be a great place for friends, a date, or even on your own.

They moved!!! I previously posted closed! But they reopened at a much better location & very nice remodel! They are always accommodating for those who are gluten-free! I had the salmon fried rice(GF) 😋, others had the teriyaki beef & bameekung. Our appetizers were crab Rangoon(get 4) & lettuce wraps(GF). If you've enjoy this place at the old location it is even better now! Very clean & nice people! If you're questioning if you should try, You SHOULD!! 😁

The owner and the hostess were wonderful! Great family restaurant. They checked on us throughout the meal. Food was flavorful and the spiciness was just what we asked for. Got quite a bit of food for the price. Will definitely be back!

If you are looking for an authentic Thai food option with incredible service, atmosphere and food then search no more!! My husband and I love a good spicy Thai dish and are often let down by a dish with minimal heat. Pla Too Thai delivers on the heat (if that's what you desire to order), the flavor and pricing! While yesterday was our first time there, it certainly won't be our last. <3

My wife and I had dinner here on a whim and really enjoyed it. The food we had was really good. Pad Thai, spring rolls, and lettuce wraps were awesome. Her teriyaki chicken could have had a bit more flavor is the only reason I rated this 4*. Everything seemed to come from good quality ingredients. Atmosphere was better than we expected and it was very clean and quaint inside. Loved how everything was plated. The employees were all extremely nice and gracious. Overall, if you've got a craving for Thai food one night, this is a great place to get your fix. We'll definitely be back and I'm looking forward to trying their curry next time.

We had lunch here recently and it was really good! I had the green curry and my wife had yellow curry. Both were great. We had chicken satay and and summer rolls as appetizers and it was all delicious. We will definitely return for another visit and try some other dishes. Small side note that the address is incorrect on Google. They must have moved recently and it's now a few blocks down the road on the opposite side of the street.

Had the Tom Kah coconut chicken soup which was very tasty and the fresh wrapped lettuce rolls. Pat our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Nice place with comfortable booth and table seating and plenty of parking. I will be back!

I had the pineapple curry, and wow, it was delicious. They will ask for your level of hotness, and I recommend hot. I like my food spicy and it was perfect. The sweetness from the pineapple balances out the heat. Everything was declious.

First time patron, and we drove out of our way to give it a try. We ordered the green curry, spicy noodles, and some appetizers. The customer service was great when picking up our order. The food was soon good. We will be back!!

Love this place! The restaurant is clean and very cute inside. Can’t wait to eat outside on their patio seating when the weather allows. The food is amazing. Flavors are amazing. We had the Papaya salad first. Delicious. Plenty to share. I had the yellow chicken curry which was spot on for flavor. I’m very picky about my curry so that says a lot. The chicken was tender, all white meat without a speck of fat. I loved that they let me substitute bamboo shoots for the green pepper. You can truly make the meal your own. My husband had the Beef Spicy noodles with the highest heat possible. The meat was tender and, again, void of fat and gristle. He loved it. The service was excellent which is hard to find these days. My new favorite Thai restaurant. We’ll be regulars.

We have been regular customers for years and years. We have grown to become adventurous in trying dishes that we never have had before instead of our usual yellow curry or Tom Kah. We have yet to find a dish that was disappointing. The cooks here are amazing, food is always hot and so delicious, the portions are always perfect, Thai tea is wonderful and we are so impressed with the appetizers of wings, mango rangoons, and chicken lettuce wraps. The dessert is also so tasty and beautifully presented; Mango cake, and there is nowhere in Omaha who serves a dessert like it. We have ate at mostly every Thai restaurant in town here. This is our favorite place for Thai and we usually eat here 2-3 times per week. They are always accommodating to substitutions if possible. Extra veggies less rice etc. The server is always friendly and is very careful to make sure that she gives you her best attention to details to make sure your dinning experience is nothing less than fantastic. The restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable for enjoy your dinning experience. This place is a gem. A top #1 A+ restaurant for Thai in Omaha as well as some places we have a lot been to for Thai in Florida, Maine and other places. Thank you for your consistent hospitality and service that you have given us over the years. And thank you for such an awesome treat to get to experience your cooking and foods so often. We love it and also appreciate each of you so very much too. ❤️ Merry Christmas and wishing you a healthy and happy New Year.

I haven't been since they moved to their new location, but the quality of food and service has remained the same. Best Thai food in town with good service! Their new location is also a lot easier to get to!

I have been to most other Thai restaurants in town. While my favorite remains Salween Thai… Platoo Thai was still wonderful. - 40 minutes from walking in the door to leaving - food was fresh, hot, and quality ingredients - service was fast and friendly - atmosphere was nothing special, somewhat contemporary. They did well renovating that old building. - prices were reasonable. - portion sizes aren’t big enough to have leftovers So, the food. - their chicken pad Thai (Medium) was the perfect spice level for my midwestern palette. It was a little on the sweeter side as far as pad Thai goes. Not necessarily a bad thing, I didn’t get flavor fatigue as quickly. - the yellow chicken curry was 10/10, absolute perfection. Might be my favorite yellow curry in town I do not recommend the beef pad Thai. They didn’t do it wrong, but beef does not fit the dish well.

Appears to be a very gluten free friendly restaurant. Large menu and food is pretty good but on the expensive side. Especially for the small portions. Beef is a bit chewy. Shrimp was served with tails on. Servers are very friendly. Clean comfortable restaurant. If you select a tip percent they calculate including the tax, you don't tip on tax. I'll calculate my own tip in the future. We have eaten there twice now, although not the home run I was hoping for we plan to try again in a couple months.

This is BY FAR my favorite restaurant in Omaha. The food is better than other Thai food restaurants I have eaten at. I have brought 4 different people here for the first time, and THEY ALL said it was their favorite Thai food they had ever eaten as well! The best part though, to me, is that by the 2nd or 3rd time I went there they already remembered me and what dish I always wanted (I'm a creature of habit) without me even needing to say anything. And I mean even if I were calling in an order for takeout they STILL knew who I was and what I wanted, even remembering the spice level I prefer. For me, that makes me feel welcomed and appreciated in a way I don't receive at other dining establishments. The owner and her staff are so down to earth and friendly, I always leave there with a smile, a full belly, AND leftovers, because the portions are generous while the prices are more than reasonable. I seldom review places, either because I am too busy, or simply because they are forgettable. Pla Too though is a place I literally tell everyone I know about, my experience there is that great. In closing I should add that I have been eating there for several years now, and they are consistent enough that my opinion only grows

This was my first time here. The food was excellent and spice was right on for how I ordered it. Will definitely be going again and soon

I like their food, however, the prices are NOT accurate. I ordered Lemon Grass chicken $11.00 as stated on website but my coworker ordered Black Pepper Shrimp for the same serving size thinking it was $11.00 as well because that is all the website shows. Turns out shrimp is $16.00. Verify prices folks. She offered a good old fashion Sorry, not sorry.

Ordered the fried spring rolls. Zero meat in them. Just cabbage and a very little bit of noodle. Very disappointed. No taste. Crunchy and fresh though. Thai tea was good 😊

Much much better than the previous owner! The food is improved entirely and is 100% authentic. If you like real Thai food, I strongly suggest the papaya salad. They say one through five, but if you say Thai style you'll get it at 10 the way it should be. All of this on top of a friendly staff, what more could you ask for from your Thai restaurant?

Best Thai food in Omaha! My family and I were greeted immediately and served even though we arrived slightly before opening by accident. The food was nice and fresh. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I ordered take out and it was fine. But, unfortunately it wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered pineapple stir fry and got what I believe was stir fry with soy sauce. I ordered custard with sweet rice and didn’t care much for the sweet rice. It might be better if eaten immediately rather than take out. Not very fluffy. Restaurant was clean and owner working hard to serve. I would probably try it again and question what I was getting before departing.

Across the board, this is my Five⭐ Thai Cuisine. I will go as far as to say, this is my favorite Asian restaurant in Omaha. I will be back again and again to get through their whole menu. The atmosphere is pleasant and very clean. The service is prompt and high-end. It's as affordable as any top-tier chain, leaving me room for a great tip. It's worth it. The food is served hot, fresh, savory, and had me looking at the menu...WHILE I WAS STILL EATING, to decide what I will order next week. Keep this gem around, Omaha!

Its been a while since i had outstanding thai food! We ordered the coconut soup and golden nest (i have never liked sweet potato until i tried these!!) for our appetizers and i ordered the green curry and my friend had one other dish i cant remember the name of. We were FLOORED. Food came out so fast and it was delicious! I ate my left over curry first thing this morning and it was STILL phenomenal. From the service to the decorations, everything was exceptional. We went here on a whim and we WILL be back. Pat and Patty were THE BEST!
