Very good Indian food located inside the Inner Rail food court. The staff has always been nice and all the dishes I've had have been great. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the limited menu items. I know that us probably due to the location, but I love having more choices.

It wasn't bad at all last year, but something must have changed recently. It's worse than frozen Indian food honestly. The chicken in both biriyani and tikka masala was as dry as jerky (I wonder how meat in sauce could be so dry), but the worst part was the rice. It's the kind you can get a pound for Β’25 and somehow all shattered into pieces, so it doesn't even look like long grain.

I usually don't write reviews but the samosa I ate forced me to write this review. If you want to spoil your day/nights please come to this place and taste the samosa. No salt no spice, they just mash up some flour with little bit of potato with no peas to be seen...and I have tasted bad samosa in my life but if anyone is willing to experience worst samosa in life. Please come to this place..

I am so LATE with this review, but I tried this restaurant for the first time on 12/2/22. I came late, just before 8PM. When I came in, there was no "hello, welcome, etc" none of that. The gentleman immediately assumed I was doordash picking up an order. When I expressed that I wanted to dine in he told me to sit anywhere. I just picked the 1st booth. The gentleman did not come over to me right away after I was seated, but instead continued his personal conversation. When he finally did come over he brought me water, silverware & a menu. I already knew what I wanted to try, but oddly didn't see it on the menu (I could've missed it, but I wanted to try their butter chicken curry.I 'm sure I could've got it if I'd asked) but I just got the Tikka Masala. My food came out pretty quick which was nice, but the gentleman never came back over to see if I needed anything or how my meal was. I ended up having to flag him down, but even still he made sure to finish his conversation with the other associate before coming over to me. The food was pretty ok. Nothing amazing by far, but not bad either. *I highly recommend people try my FAVORITE curry spot, called CURRI near 74th and dodge. I always get the butter chicken curry with medium spice and garlic naan or their TIKKA MASALA. oo chef's kiss:) * I was not aware that I needed to go to the front to pay for my meal so I sat waiting like an idiot for my bill until I saw a gentleman get up to pay at the front. Luckily, I was able to take my ques from him after that lol The gentleman behind the desk were very nice to the man and the gentleman spoke of this establishment being his and his wife's favorite place to visit when they come in town, etc. Once he finished & it was my turn, the 2 staff went back to speaking amongst themselves before telling me my total and allowing me to pay. Unfortunately, due to the service I received, or better yet lack there of, I will not be returning to this restaurant. Customer service now a days is so non-existent. I know especially when dealing with different cultures, but I was not happy with how I was treated.

I agree with all the other one star reviews. Our tikka masala was like a bowl of soup. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but for $36 I want to enjoy my food.

Chicken tiki Masala was so bland. Literally tasted like Campbell's tomato soup with a few chunks of chicken in it. Sauce was very thin too. Not at all what I have come accustomed to from the other Indian cuisine available in Omaha. Cheese Naan was very tasty, however.

Every time I come here for samosas Sandip says they're not available. I've been here at least 5 times for samosas and have been told they aren't available every single time. Today he tells me that's not true and that I'm basically lying. The ironic part is that, once again, he told me there weren't any samosa for sale. At this point he must be discriminating because that make s no sense. I will not spend my money with a restaurant that is clearly choosing who they serve certain food to. So to be clear, I've now been here 5 times for the samosas and to this day have never been be to order them. He told me I must be wrong, but again, he didn't even have them today. So who's lying? If y'all care about restaurants being fair and treating ppl equally then take your money ese where.

Horrible food, got the thali and all 3 curries had the same gravy, kofta tasted stale. Bhatura was oily and flat. They used to be better but standards are terrible now. Could not finish what we ordered

I ordered chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. It’s one of the best and their service was fast.

I was very disappointed to get home and find parts of my meal inedible. I have never seen paneer like this, and I've eaten a lot of Indian food. It must have been old because it was brown and incredibly rubbery. The sauces tasted great, but my husband's chicken was dry as well. I'm not sure if it's always like that or we picked a bad day to go? Definitely not worth the price, you can get better portions and much better quality for the same price at other Indian restaurants in Omaha.

After trying quite a few Indian restaurants here in Omaha, Maharani at Inner Rail is by far my favorite. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the food is always fresh and piping hot. My personal favorites are the lollipop chicken, as well as the chicken wings (picture) tossed in a marinade made in-house marinade. Highly recommend!
