Went for the Bemis Art Auction. Nice place. Haven't been downtown in a long time. Glad I went.

Beautiful space and great museum. Can't wait to come back for a music event. Free admission so why not check it out?! It is downtown near a nice sized parking lot and other museums.

This gallery is really cool and it's right downtown. Entrance is free, and they rotate out the exhibits.

A friend suggested I visit, and I cannot express how glad I am they did! The exhibit was diverse, and while not every piece was for me, every piece would definitely affect someone. It motivated me to get back into visiting these exhibits, they really do feed your soul.

The Bemis Center is a world treasure, and we are very fortunate to have it in Omaha. One of the strongest residency programs for Contemporary art in the world, they bring exciting artists from all walks of life to share what they do with the community. Definitely check out one of the open studios they have a few times a year to get a behind the scenes look at the magic. Take in a gallery show, or join them Thursday evenings for an artist talk.

I'm not big into art so I was more interested in the building. Several floors with huge open rooms and studio apartments. The day we went we had free root beer floats and free beer. The highlight imo.

Free exhibits? Yes! They are always free! Check out this hidden gem in Omaha. Go to an opening or a talk with an artist, but make sure to check out the residents open house 3 times a year. Their work! In a live in space. It is awesome.

All Together, Amongst Many: Reflections on Empathy was an experience. Glad to have stopped by when the museum was nearly empty. We had plenty of space to reflect and take in the art as presented.

A perfect place for an artist to work on what they want. Plenty of space, supplies, and support. An old building, but it adds to the "art charm"

What a lovely place to spend your time at. Whether you are checking out the cool rotating exhibits at the art gallery, or visit in the evening to see an interesting music show at their low-end stage, I'm sure you'll find an experience you weren't expecting! Did I mention there's no admission fee either? Give it a shot sometime if you are in the area, and be pleasantly surprised. If you'd like something like this to continue into the future, support them any way you can!

Visiting Bemis was a delightful experience. Their contemporary art collection always are captivating, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions. The auction events are professionally conducted, adding an exciting dimension to the gallery. Volunteering at the art gallery during the auction was an incredibly rewarding experience. Being part of the team and witnessing the excitement of the bidding process made it an unforgettable opportunity. Thanks Bemis Team!

🫤 I suppose if this is one of those things you follow on TV then this will be a good place to visit. Other than that our group found it rather randomly and decided to give it a try. We were disappointed. It was $20 per person. You're not allowed to take pictures inside the museum. You're given a small...

👍👍 Today, June 6th, was the first day of their Sunday Farmers Market. Produce, food, art, and music. Plus today they had pony rides. Total hit with the kids! Relax, friendly, low key. The market will continue through Labor Day.
