I stayed two nights at the Hormuz Grand Muscat waiting to travel to Salalah. The hotel is truly a 5 star hotel with a most professional staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean with a spa tub and separate shower with regular and rainfall shower head. The common areas have two eternity pools and seating all around. The food in the restaurant was delicious and room service was prompt. The manager was most accommodating and personally made sure that we had everything we needed. Muscat is very safe and has a great mall 15 minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Muscat.

Horrible Hotel. Had so many issues with it the last time we stayed there earlier this year. Staff are not proactive, they stand around and don't assist you especially the valet and the entrance to the hotel. Horrible welcome indeed. Bathroom started flooding up and we were moved around rooms late in the night after a long tiring day. They moved us to another room where the light bedside lights were not working Breakfast and service was average on all days except the weekend, when they had the best restaurant staff around. They don’t have a 24/7 meal room service for meals even though the hotel is isolated from other restaurants. The only good thing was the room (nice large spacious room, nicely designed washroom (but horribly maintained) and the restaurant staff on the weekend. A ridiculous price for such a sub standard hotel. This hotel has put a scar on the Radisson brand for us and we don’t think we ever want to go here again.

After staying for 5 nights I was going to give 2 stars only But the staff with the trainees are all good and made my stay amazing, really cheerful people, oh and the breakfast was the best But i can't say the same about the management and the policies which needs a proper shake off Really inconvenient parking space outside and barely available spots while the whole basement parking is empty Room didn't have a tissue box i needed to take the one from Toilet which finished fast and i had to get another one from room service Fridge was filled to the brim with alcohol, softdrinks, and other things which didn't leave much space for me to put my drinks, again i had to call the service to empty the whole mini bar The lighting and A/C controls are really not up to the standards can't you just make something really simple to reach from both sides of the bed? Also i can't stress how it's tediously inconvenient that the toilet lighting is not synchronized with the room lighting Also the fact that i have to activate my card Every Single Day or I'll be locked out of my room ... WHAT? Bottom line, this is not the first time i booked with RC or Hormuz But it'll be the last, I'd only recommend the place if you haven't been to this place before and your standards are questionable Good staff, bad management

The female staff at the front desk were amazing! They were very friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and a decent size. Room service was quick.

The best hotel in Town. Quiet place and nice view. Variety of restaurants to try, the best one is their buffet, nice foods and nice service. Double thumbs up to Paolo who sees to it that we have everything we need and made our stay worth it. Will def recommend to my friends!

3 days at the Radisson - and it was absolutely made by the wonderful staff. Sonia in the restaurant was wonderfully welcoming and provided a great service. In fact, all of the staff were attentive but discreet and made us feel very welcome and taken care of, especially our 3 children. The rooms were well stocked, modern, great bathroom, lovely and spacious, with good standard of cleanliness. Great pool too, love that it wasn't chlorinated.

The room is so clean, well-furnished, and equipped. The breakfast buffet has a variety of choices. It is 4 star hotel but it should be granted 5 stars for the exceptional services.

I recommend this hotel, it's clean, the rooms are beautiful and well appointed. All the hotel's staff are very welcoming, and go out of their way to meet our expectations. We particularly liked the attention we received from : - Sunil, who met our requirements and made us feel at ease. We really appreciated these moments -Chaminda and Naing for their always attentive service and their smiles. We appreciated their warm welcome so much that we returned almost every night. - Also to Sonia for the quality of service during our breakfasts. -and finally to Ye chef and second chef for their delicious dishes. Thank you all for your warm welcome.

Beware of the hotel taxis in Oman - they're more than double the price of the regular taxi. This is not the hotel's price but they could tell customers. They were very good when we expressed our disappointment. The hotel restaurant are overpriced unfortunately and I think they would have many more customers with a better price point. Everything else was amazing, particularly the service!

I had a nice stay at this hotel. Rooms were big and clean. Staff were very attentive and management of the hotel ensured that any concerns were addressed and taken care of. The food at the OMNY restaurant was very nice and service was excellent - in particular, a big thank you to Sunil, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good experience.

Omni is a brilliant hidden pearl slightly outside the city of Muscat, inside Hormuz Grand restaurant. Service of the restaurant was brilliant and host (Chaminda in my case) knows what he is recommending you. I am embarrassed that they don't have clean the plate after I was done with it ;-). I had an amazing stay at this hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the warm and friendly welcome that I received upon arrival to the exceptional service that I experienced from the staff throughout my stay, everything was simply perfect. The hotel itself was luxurious and comfortable, with all of the amenities that one could ask for. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and a range of activities.

Big rooms and fantastic staff. If something should be highlighted is the amazing employees, always keen to help and support you. The gym is also great, big, with weights sections and with multiple type of machines. Location is good if you don't need to go to Muscat, as is around 25 minutes from the city.

The room was spacious, homey, and very comfortable. The view from the hotel room was breathtaking.The service was excellent, room service was quick to answer and bring items that were asked for. The pool was very clean and shaded from the sun. The overall experience was outstanding.

Comfy, spacious rooms. Amazing pool for the kids, and grown ups too of course. Price was great for just a night before we went to the airport. Close to almost all the malls and Matrah souq which is a plus.

Very nice hotel with amazing and friendly staff who really helped me organise taxi pick up and drop off as my arrival to Muscat was late night. Upon arrival, check in was very quick and bags brought to my room. The hotel is very clean and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The room had all amenities included. It’s a very quite hotel, perfect to have a sleep in and relax.

We had a lovely stay for 1 day! It’s close to the airport, has fascinating outside pool and steam/sauna rooms and a selection of restaurants. We dined at OMNY and would like to thank Chaminda and the chef for great hospitality and attention to details.

We enjoyed the dinner buffet in a family night out. The staff (Sonia and Kamashi) showed us great hospitality, and were keen to help throughout. The salad and starters section was the best. We got a free birthday cake as we were celebrating my sister's, and 10% discount for group reservation.

Had a fantastic stay at the Hormuz Grand! The staff are kind and hospitable. Benson was incredibly helpful in managing some of the logistics of our business trip - he held our bags, helped us get transportation, and recommended things to do. The rooms are beautiful, the lobby is an excellent place to gather, and the spa and restaurants look amazing (though we didn’t get to try them out on this trip). We recently visited Radisson collection Hormuz Grand Muscat and I must say that we had a great time. It was a pleasant stay. The staff was so kind and amazing. The rooms are great and fully furnished. Would love to visit again!

The room was very nice and the staff was amazing. It was close to the airport and about 15 minutes to most locations for tourists. Centrally located but it has no restaurants in walking distance outside of the ones inside the hotel. The breakfast was a bit expensive for kids at 10 OMR per child. I would stay again because of the staff.

I had and issue with my room and complained they tried to fix the issue but they couldn’t. The engineering team decided to change my room and they contacted the receptionist and he confirmed. I waited for a long time but nobody came to collect my things. When I went to the front desk a lady told me she can’t change my room because they are fully occupied. However, when I insisted she found a room for me. She could do that without I starting losing my temper or insisting because it wasn’t my first time. I noticed the front desk people are not cooperating unless the guest is insisting for his or her right. I could notice this many times because it is not my first time here. In the future I will ask my company not to book for me in this hotel.

It was an exceptional experience staying in Hurmuz Grand hotel. The room was comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and suits all tastes. For the restaurant staff I would like to thank Nasr who was ver welcoming and kind and always serve us with a smile and also Khalil who works in the reception as his service was perfect and he helped us a lot during our staying. Had a nice stay, good location close to the airport. Spacious rooms. Service in food outlets and room service very good but sometimes requests for things like batteries for tv remote and another pillow were delayed somewhat. Very friendly staff, especially Paolo in the breakfast buffet and Sanaa in reception. Overall would stay again.

Good hotel and staff were very friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was Ok, not amazing just ok. Location is perfect as it's next to the airport and close to the highways so you can get to any parts of Muscat quickly

A great experience to celebrate my birthday in Hormuz Grand Muscat. A complimentary cake was beautiful and tasted great. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Such a wonderful place to dine in, work and chill. We had our company events few times and it went wonderfully beautifully, thanks for the team including starting from Ionela the sales executive and Sonia, she was a big help. We spent two stays and a total of six nights at the Hormuz Grand Muscat in late 2021 and early 2022. The staff is eager to meet their guests’ expectations towards a Grand Hotel and succeed in doing so. Your car will not be standing long in front of the entrance, before a helpful valet employee offloads your luggage and parks the car. The journey continues to the charming reception staff, upon asking for it, offering fair (but for us a bit too pricey) upgrade and lounge access options. Also, availability given, day rooms are offered for a charge if your flight departs late in the evening. The breakfast buffet offers a vast selection of international delicacies with local colours, such as Foul Medamas, Oman-grown dates, Za‘atar-bread, Karak tea etc. The interior of the hotel comprises a courtyard with an artificial arc built in islamic architecture and the pool. At night, the courtyard is beautifully lit and underlines the impression of an Arabic night with the taste of a freshly lit shisha in the air. Overall a great experience with only selective room of improvement (in terms of deep-cleanliness of the room, reliability of the room keys)

Very nice hotel with great facilities and a modern room. I stayed in the suite and it was very clean and comfortable and definitely a great option for tourists or even locals/residents to check out. The food at their restaurants has always been impressive and I really like their pool area as well that is quite huge. The staff in the entire hotel is very friendly and helpful and made our stay even better last month

I used to have a membership in gym and swimming pool. 1) The swimming pool is spacious and good for who would like to practice any type of swimming style 🏊‍♂️ as well as for a recreational use by both guests and members. The pool is surrounded with number of comfortable seats and sunbathing beds for whom likes to get a bronze skin. Tasty beverages and food are also served here. New towels are provided 2) the gym is having modern equipment and weights. Very nice place for working out provided with drinking water, towels and green apples as a reward for discipline performing members/ hotel guests. Most of the time not busy. I suggest you try it. Both facilities have helped me to exercise and having a tremendous change to my health. Never forget to mention, the neatness of both facilities was maintained by Mr Habib who manages them very well. He helped in arranging tools for kids swimming classes and taking care of thier safety. In the gym, he was coaching us whenever he was free. He is such a friendly, helpful and nice guy. Plenty of work tho, it is a time to have someone to assist him to bring out maximum of gym and the pool. Wishing him a good luck.

Came to Hormuz Grand for a one night business related stay. The room was very comfortable. Soft bed, spacious bathroom, and all features that you can think of were there. The breakfast was also very tasty with a variety of all cuisines. I really enjoyed the general laid-back and relaxing feeling to the hotel. Unfortunately, I did not get to experience the pool as the outside area and pool area looked amazing.

I visited this hotel about 4 times. Unfortunately it went from being an excellent hotel to just 'a good' hotel. I have two main points in concern. 1) The cleanness of the hotel has degraded. 2) Parking is always a trouble.

Amazing staff, Taha and Mohamed at reception have been exceptional, truly welcoming and helpful. Pool side is really nicely designed, just like the rest of the hotel, it is perfectly blending traditional aesthetic with a contemporary twist. Breakfast buffet was amazing, one of the best I’ve had in the entire world: a lot of choice from international to French and Arabic selections, high quality products, and best Chef ever who really made sure we got everything we needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable luxury hotel with a modern Omani soul!

Hormuz Grand is a best place to relax and enjoy with your family . We stayed on my Son's birthday and they make his day unforgettable . All staff help me to surprise him with arranging a special table with decorations. Dinner and Breakfast was really good with many choices. All Staff members are very professional , helpful, friendly and welcoming to the guests. Special thanks for restaurant staff Sonia/ Paulo/ Sreelekshmi /Kamakshi and staff in Reception for there excellent customer care. Pool is good and very clean. Rooms also very clean. Review I recently visited at Qureshi Bab Al Hind for few times, and tried some of their dishes , I really appreciate the way they welcome their guest and make the food tasty... I tried Lentil soup, sunehri Khasta and Malai kofta on the first day, and Had Hyderabadi Biryani on 2nd Day. And I would like to thank all the Team members Manish, Abhay , especially Chef Khushpal and Chef sarjeet for making such delicious food . I really enjoyed my dinner there and would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Visited Omny seafood restaurant and Mr.Mahesh has done a very good service.He also suggested different sauces to try out. It was a pleasant experience. Hope to see you soon again.

It was great… However, the rooms were not maintained properly because of we called room service a few times to fix the AC in the room, the shower drainer was clogged - they did arrive to the room quickly - despite all of that the staff was extremely welcoming, as well as the taxi drivers. Inshallah we will be back again.

Make sure you try their fresh omelets with every thing included and fresh honey strait of the comb. - their suites are big, comfortable and easy to relax in. - any issue or query we had was resolved extremely fast by concierge. - indoor parking is available. - front desk staff are great as well.

The most welcoming staff, great location. The room was big enough for me and my two kids. We enjoyed the pools and the wonderful breakfast served in the morning. We booked at the beginning of our trip in Oman and decided to book again at the end of our trip. This is now the place we're going to stay when visiting this breathtaking country. I'd like to thank again the staff who were so nice and cared so much specially Paolo. Can't wait to come again.

It was a great experience to come and stay in Hormuz Grand Muscat.Especially the cleanliness.It was well maintained and clean. Housekeeping staffs were very courteous and I felt completely at ease during the stay, knowing the housekeeping staff prioritizes hygiene. Kudos to the housekeeping team for their dedication to keeping everything so pristine.

I visit Hormuz in Muscat on a regular basis professionally (on average 2 to 3 nights per month). The hotel is nice, with good food and friendly staff. It always feels nice if staff recognise you from previous visits. Areas for improvement in my view: if the occupancy rate of the hotel is high, the overall quality of the service level tends to drop. I’ve also experienced myself the attitude of some staff thinking only on compliance with ‘rules and regulations’ instead of trying to please the customer (example: customer only receives one towel in spa according to procedure. I was denied a second towel by the staff. Only after insisting, I finally received a second towel ). Overall, I would recommend staying in Hormuz Muscat.
