Den Tijl ademt een aangename en gezellige sfeer, met een mooie bar en sfeervolle inrichting. Het restaurant nodigt uit tot genieten van heerlijk eten. De gastvrouw is zeer attent en vriendelijk, waardoor gasten zich meteen welkom voelen. Haar persoonlijke aanpak draagt bij aan de warme sfeer van de brasserie. De porties zijn ruim voldoende en de presentatie is oogstrelend. Het menu is zeker een aanrader.

The interior of this place looks fabulous, which rises the expectations to what will be served. I ordered a pancake with butter and sugar and a Lady Grey tea. I received 2 pancakes which were of a nice big size, and looked very good and tasty. However, parts (especially the rims, and some spots all over the pancake) were burnt (black), which gave the pancake a bitter taste, which couldn't even be masked by the sugar. The tea was even worse, it tasted as if it had been laying around for ages, like cardboard and old maids... no taste for a 'lady' !!! I didn't finish it, and it left such a horrible after taste, that i had to eat some gum as soon as i got into the car !!

Cosy casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was simple but very tasty. We will go back again.
