Researched this as we had a day in Brugge as a cruise stopover, saw it had good reviews so decided to go for it. So glad we did. Booked it via the website which was easy, had to contact them as we had two children and a coeliac (gluten free) adult and they were a great help. When we arrived we were met by Pieter who was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We started with 3 Belgian beers (1 gluten free) and Pieter explained the history and production of the beers. Very interesting and more amusing as the beers progressed. Then we made waffles with batter made from the beer of our choice. The waffle making was great for all involved and they were awesome!! We had two kids 9 and 12 who had 0% beer and soft drinks who also made the waffles and had a great time. I would 100% recommend this, it's away from the tourist traps, the host (Pieter) is just wonderful, you taste traditional beers with explanations and you make waffles! Win win win. Our group was 9 - 70 years of age and we all loved it. We all said we would do it again.

My husband and I had a lot of fun at the waffle workshop. Piet started the workshop with an informative introduction about the history of beer, before moving to let us making Brussels waffle. We met lots of fun people there, and had a good time. It’s a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Such a fun morning workshop! We had the best time and the waffles and hot chocolate were absolutely delicious! Thank you to Conrad (probably have spelled that wrong sorry) who was a fantastic host and taught us lots about Bruges along the way. Would 100% recommend booking this in!

I went as an introverted solo traveler and had so much fun! The instructor was very sweet, charismatic, and knowledgeable. There was a lot more beer and waffles than I expected! Great way to meet people and share some laughs. Highly recommend!

Did the breakfast workshop with the family. Had so much fun. The instructor was nice, patient and had a sense of humor. The class was somewhat smaller which added a personal touch, perfect for smaller groups. Great experience and tasty waffles!!

Piet was fantastic. He balanced humor with teaching and shared his knowledge of Belgium, Bruge, and beer throughout. This was the best experience of our trip. We highly recommend this experience!

The class is fun: you start by tasting some local beers and then make some beer waffles. Gilles is fun and because there were 2 spots left we were able to join spontaneously. Since we are on our honeymoon this was fantastic!

This experience is great! Amazing for solo travelers. Great experience to not only meet new people from all over but have a good laugh as Pied teaches you about both Brugge, Beer, and Waffles. Also quick and easy walk in the center of Brugge!

Such an amazing, fun, easy and wholesome experience. Piet is one of the sweetest humans and he offers such a broad range of history. He makes the class fun, while learning a bit about Belgium. Waffles turned out superb and beer tasting made everything better. Highly highly recommend this class!!

Had an absolutely brilliant time, Piet was an amazing waffle making instructor. He was funny and welcoming. It was like meeting up with an old friend. The waffles and beer were delicious. I had a very small group (just two of us) so it was much quieter than other groups. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Brugge, especially those on their own.

The Waffles 'n Beer Workshop was great! The atmosphere was light and cheerful, everybody were there to have a good time and the host really helped to encourage and facilitate that! The beers were really interesting, we got a backstory behind each one together with trivia on Brugge and beer and waffles in general. The waffles also turned out very good! You will probably not need to eat for quite some time after this - the batter was enough for about three large waffles - but if you want to save the waffles until later you can wrap them up and take them with you :) I thoroughly recommend the experience!
